I’m a huge fan of Zhila. She does such amazing threading and eyebrows. I work in the entertainment industry as a radio host and personality and on camera television host and actress. I interview celebrities for a living so I need to keep up with the stars. Zhila does my eyebrows perfectly every single time. I constantly get comments on my eyebrows now on the red carpet and during interviews. Some celebrities have even commented «Your eyebrows are on fleek! Love it!!!

Nice salon. It gets crowded at times but the service is good and prices are reasonable.

I always take my family here. My kids are full of energy and can hardly sit still and the man who cute our hair is always lovely and patient. I appreciate the reasonable prices and I will always choose this place. Recommend him as well.

Best experience ever. My hair was super damaged and in a very poor shape and color. I went to Zhila to get my eyebrows done which I always do, then I decided to do something about my hair as well. Afshin the hair stylist was very professional. He listened to me and fixed all my problems. I ended up leaving the salon very happy and satisfied. Also they have the best price. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately I’m giving this place 1 star and I never even got my eyebrows done to know if she was any good. I had called to ask if they do threading and she said yes I told her I was having trouble finding her store and she directed me to the store and I found it which was very close to where I was. I told her I was coming to get my eyebrows done she said see you soon. I walked in and she asked if I wanted to get my eyebrows done and I said yes I was the girl who just called she said okay I will be right with you and to have a seat. As I sat there for over 15 minutes noticed that all the other ladies that were working there doing nails were all in their own conversations not even communicating with the customers they were working on and the lady who I’m assuming was the owner was threading another woman’s face but she was also talking to this customer so she would thread and then stop to talk and then thread and then stopped to talk as if nobody was waiting. After approximately 20 minutes she got up to tell me does she usually doesn’t let people walk in and that she only does appointment and I said that’s okay I understand that it was fine and I would be willing to wait and she said okay but then I thought to myself how much longer is this going to take so I asked after 20 minutes of waiting she said it would be another 30 minutes of just threading a woman’s face, now I’ve been getting threaded for years and it is never taken me or taking anybody almost an hour to thread. At that point I was very upset and I walked out of the store because if she had told me when I called that she only accept appointments I wouldn’t have gone to the store and if I if she had told me when I walked in that it would be almost an hour wait time I probably wouldn’t have wasted my 20 minutes there being is that I had only about 30 minutes before I had to go to a doctors appointment that was behind the building and I’m 8 months pregnant. All in all very disappointing. Now whether she’s good at what she does I don’t know but I’m not going to give her the opportunity to show me.

I’ve been going to Zhila for about a year for my eyebrows and she always does an amazing job. She never rushes you and keeps working until your eyebrows are perfect. Plus, she is super friendly and funny. I love going to D’Mermaid Salon!

I have been going to Zhila (the owner) for over 6 years. I get waxed and my eyebrows with her. She is amazing and so great at what she does. She never makes you feel uncomfortable and works VERY thoroughly. Zhila is clearly not in it for the money, she truly wants her clients to be happy. I love going to her and trust her completely. She works from the heart and is generous with her time. I highly recommend her to anyone! She does her best to make it as painless as possible too:))) Not to mention her prices are very reasonable, ESPECIALLY for the awesome job she does!!!

I’ve been coming here for 12 years! I get my eyebrows done here, waxing, nails, and hair! Everyone there is so sweet and does a fantastic job! They are very accommodating but it’s best to make an appt due to the high demand. Very reasonable pricing unlike most other salons. Zhila does my threading. Elizabeth does my haircuts and blows ray and any of the nail ladies are great. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Zhila is amazing! I won’t let anyone else touch my eyebrows! Her prices are reasonable and the salon is very clean and overall a pleasant place to be. She books up really quickly so you need to make an appointment fast. Once you get your eyebrows done with Zhila you will never go anywhere else, I’ve been a customer for years and have never been disappointed!

I have been Zhila’s customer for over 15 years. My mother introduced me to her when I was a little 10 year old begging to shave my legs. I became a regular life-​time customer at age 15 when bikini waxing became a necessity. Since then, I come to Zhila every month for eyebrows (it’s a must) and waxing. I book my next appointment at the end of each session to ensure a spot because Zhila books up fast (and for very good reason). But don’t let this put you off; Zhila will always squeeze you in, even if she has to stay late. I see her do it all the time.
For me, coming to Zhila is like a monthly reset button. Every month, I come in a hairy mess, especially in the eyebrow department. Zhila cleans me up and sends me back into the world. I get so many compliments on my brows (which is crazy if you’ve ever seen my caterpillars in their primitive state) and it’s all thanks to Zhila. Though I now shave my legs, the years of waxing my arms and bikini has drastically reduced the amount of hair I once had in those areas (like by 75%).
As for Zhila herself, I appreciate her good humor and no nonsense approach to beauty. Like one other reviewer said, Zhila is a straight shooter and will tell you if something needs fixing. Of course, you don’t have to take her advice but you’ll be glad you did. Zhila is a wonderful woman and an excellent beauty resource. I’d be lost without her.
Other things to note: D Mermaid salon is clean and professional and the prices are unbeatable. I feel that in writing this, I’m giving away the best secret I’ve got, but Zhila is worth the attention and praise. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment.

I was looking for a hair salon just to cut my bangs and this place was the only one open on Sunday. After driving around I finely found this place. There were a few more costumers in there and Sohaila was very nice and didnt let me wait. She charged me only 5 $ for the service and I was very happy the way that she cut it. She also did a little bit blow dry with no charge.
Next time I know where to go !

Eyebrows eyebrows eyebrows! They just are one of those things that have to get «done». And if you want one of the best threading jobs E V E R, this is your spot.
Nail work is good too — with a large selection of colors. The price is extremely good for this area!
I have not had my hair done here, but the girls are always busy doing special updos and blow outs for parties.
Will go here forever for the sake of my brows :-)

I’ve been coming here for years.
I used to come see Jenny (I think that’s her name, Asian girl) for haircuts, cheap and decent job.
Then I used to come here to see Leanne for nails $ 20 mani pedi. Super cheap, decent job.
Now, I’m a regular of Zhila’s for eye brow threading. She does a good job, but it’s impossible to get an appointment on a Friday or Sat unless you call a week in advance.
She’s very blunt and honest– so don’t be turned off if you come to her for a little wax and she tells you that your eye brows look terrible and she needs to ‘fix’ them for you!

I love Zhila! I visit her RELIGOUSLY every two weeks for my eyebrows and can’t thank her enough in giving me the perfect eyebrows!

I love love love Soheila! I’ve been going to her for highlights for about 2 years now and the compliments keep coming. Yesterday I went a bit darker and i really love it. She does an amazing job and she’s hilarious. I always go in on Sundays and she is the only one working… it’s always a great time. I referred my mom, 2 friends and 2 of my aunts to her and they all love her too. Thanks Soheila :-)
