New York School of Aesthetics

I graduated from New York school of Esthetics in March 2014. It was one of the best learning experiences. I am so happy I made the decision to go back to school after 10 years to do skin care. This is a fantastic school with professional and friendly owners and teachers. The clinic offers various skin care treatments at fantastic prices.
I have to return for some pampering time!

First time here and it was a great experience. Plan on going back for another facial next month

I had what had to be the most disappointing treatment of my adult life today. I gave the place two stars bc it’s clean and the people were pleasant but the facial I got was so underwhelming and my skin looks no different.
The body treatment I got was sad at best. I had scrub applied to me but my skin was not scrubbed. I had to do that myself in the shower. There was no sort of massage at all and only half my body had lotion applied. When time was up (they shortened my treatment time without asking me) the girl abruptly finished and left.
The point of paying for a facial or body treatment is that you get pampered a bit. This was cheap but not worth the money they charge.
I will save my money from now on and go back to a professional. I don’t know who hires these girls after they graduate but I wouldn’t go to a business that did.
Oh, and BTW: when they say that the services are rendered under the guidance of a professional esthetician, don’t take that to mean that anyone with experience will be there to guide the session.

Wonderful place with great students who do an excellent job of giving facials. Very professional setting and lovely owners.

I have been here twice now, and both times have been pretty good. I got a lip ($ 6) and underarm ($ 15) wax. The girls are nice, but I allow extra time as they take a bit longer than a regular place (not to say it’s a bad thing, they are just being thorough). Today’s service took about 40 mins. I will definitely be going here again, as it is the best price around for the level of detail and attention that I can find.

I attended New York School of Esthetics in 2009 and it was one of the best learning experiences I have ever had. Being fresh out of high school I wasn’t really interested in doing the whole «college thing»; after some thing I decided to go to NYCOE and I LOVED it! The course is striaght to the point and very in depth. I love the staff; its a very close knit place. The classes are very small and your able to get a lot of one on one time with your instructors and ask a lot of questions. I felt like they were always concerned with me knowing the information and prepared me WELL to take the State Board Exam. I got the opportunity to work with actually clients which gave me real world experience as well. After I graduated they still sat down and walked through everything I needed to do before my state board exam which was great because they went the extra mile to see me succeed. To this day I still have a relationship with them. They’re always posting jobs and positions for students and keep in touch after you leave. I absolutely adore New York School of Esthetics and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in going into the skin care field.

This is a great place to get pampered. Bargains to be had on treatments done in a classroom setting. I have not been for awhile and want very much to go back!
