A lovely park. I was there a close by a few years ago but I was a little further up north where there was a park path alongside the water, Pierson Park I believe. Pierson is also a nice park that has some tennis and basketball courts there, but back to Losee Park. I returned this weekend to take some photos of the bridge and sunset. I was pleasantly surprised to find the actual park(Losee). There are a few large parking lots. The signs posted prior to entry have a bunch of rules and regulations about parking, but weekends seem to be free for all to park. There were a two baseball fields there. I noticed there were a few cookouts going on there as well. An overall great experience. I left just as the sun was going down, but I hope to return for some evening pictures of the bridge. The views of the Hudson River and the Tappan Zee bridge are spectacular, especially at sunset. I also had a tired fiancé and 4 year old, so I did not get to explore much, I will be sure to do so and report back once I have done so. As with any park near water, be mindful of the bugs, you will get bitten.
