Wine At The Docks

The wine bar is very pleasant, and a great place to relax while visiting the sponge docks. However, I was disappointed in the selection of wines at the wine bar. A disclaimer, I did not visit the wine shop to check out the selection there. The first glass of wine I was poured was bad, I could tell immediately by the color. The second glass was bad as well Obviously the bottles had been open a while and should not have been served. The bartender opened a new bottle, which was fine. I was a little disappointed in the temperature thought, I like my white wine quite chilled and I thought they were close to room temperature. Overall though I enjoyed the atmosphere and the wine I finally received.

I think this is the only wine bar at the sponge docks and possibly the only one in Tarpon right now. If wine is your thing, go here. They sell Florida and Greek wines which you can always taste before buying. They also offer a frequent wine card where you can get a free bottle after you fill up one card.

What a charming little shop! We popped in to pick up wine for dinner and the owner let us sample quite a few to choose the right one. She really knew the flavor profiles and made some great recommendations. They have some exotic and Florida specific wines, such as Key Limen, made only with limes, no grapes.
They also have a bar on the other side, as well as some outside tables, and wines are available by the glass.

We had such a pleasant experience sampling some wines here with the owner. She was extremely knowledgeable of their offerings and provided some excellent recommendations. There’s also a bar where you can sit down and have full beers and wine.

This store is located along a Tarpon Springs street full of activities. It’s attached to a bar as well, which makes it even cooler.
They sell all things wine including lot of different Greek wines. They do wine tastings as well.
Added to all the different wine options and wine accessories is a very friendly and helpful staff. I really loved this place!

This store is very welcoming and offers a sit-​down bar and lounge area attached. The owners were friendly and provided free wine samples to anyone that wanted to try local Florida wines. They carry a great selection of wines from Greece, Florida (Clearwater, St. Petersburg), and Germany. If you like sweet or fruit wines, this is the place to go.

A great local wine & beer bar to hang out on the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs. They also have a nice selection of Florida, Greek, International & Dessert wines in their Retail Store.
