Northern Neck Bone & Joint Center

This office is home to my fathers hip surgeon Dr. Tyler Wind. I am not sure if he is aware of the incompetents of his staff or if he himself is the source.
Dr. Wind replaced my fathers hip ans since then has been nothing but trouble.
First thing that happened was my father had been placed in a nursing home for rehabilitation. They took him to the office on the first visit with little issue. I took him on his secobd visit and the appointment time was for 3pm and we got there on time. Once we arrived the receptionist informed us Dr. Wind was not in the office and that they had been calling his house phone to inform him of this (knowing he was in the nursing home). They however made it right and we were seen by another doctor.
The next visit we were seen by the right doctor but they didn’t have enough nurses on hand to hold my father up in order to take Xrays so they made me do it. Exposing me to unnecessary radition and danger.
The next problem was my father was experiencing pain so I called and adked them to send a prescription for pain over. The receptionist said they would send it over by 4:30pm. I left to go wait for the prescription until 6:30pm… nothing! I called back 2 days later and finally got the prescription 5 days from the orginal request.
Now for the straw that broke the camels back. We had an appointment for 2:30 for a follow up. I took my father in (which is a painful process for him) and they had the whole waiying room full of people. I did not even have a place to sit. I waited 1 hour and finally went up to ask when would they be seeing me father for his 2:30 appointment. The receptionist told me it would be at least an addition 40 – 45 mins. Another lady came up at the same time after hearing me complain and she also had an appointment for 2:30 as well as one ither gentleman. They had three people scheduled to see the same doctor at the same time!!!
I then told them to cancel my fathers appointment and took him out to the car.
I returned and expressed that I was very displeased with this office and that I was moving my father to a new doctor. I asked the receptionist what my father needed to see another doctor and get his records moved over. She said it was a follow up visit snd I needed nothing rlse.
Here we are 2 days later snd while setting up his new appointment with a new doctor, the new doctor wanted my fathers records. I called Dr. Winds office and she told me that they can’t release his ingornation without a concent formed being signed by him in front of her (((((remember I asked if a needed anything else during the last visit and she said no)))). She also said even after I got it signed I would have to wait up to 6 weeks for them to relesse his records. Records his new doc needs to treat him!
DO NOT GO TO RIVERSIDE HOSPITAL OR NECK AND BONE with Dr. Wind. I have never seen such disregaurd for patients anywhere!!!
