Went to Taos for a wedding and found the shop to have a great selection of ranger belts and buckles at reasonable prices with great customer service and a friendly staff. I will be back and hope to see them open an website where I can browse and buy as well.

Went back in May and had the same exceptional service from the nicest guy and got his name this time. He goes by Topher. I love leather and the work is exquisite. Anything you buy has a lifetime warranty which makes the value exceptional. The quality is exceptional to begin with so in the long run you get something you love like a purse or jacket that you have forever. I love not having to replace purses due to shoddy workmanship. It is also easy to keep items looking new with some polish/cleaning gel.

I’ve been searching for a replacement belt for a few weeks now and the mall shops and big box stores didn’t have something that really met my requirements. First off, I’m a big boy and most belts end a few inches short. Second, I want a wide belt to stop it from twisting when I put my holster on it. And third, I want a small buckle so that I don’t have to take off the belt when I go through TSA checkpoints. I let my mom pull me into this shop and as a *cough* forty-something year old *cough* I let her buy me clothes again. Something that hasn’t happened in thirty years. Great service from the guy working the shop. He clearly knows his inventory and was willing to help me find what I wanted. And so we made a purchase. And then he insisted that if there were any problems with the belt in the next ten years, to let him know and they’ll replace it. Because their name is on the inside of the belt. How cool is that? Other than belts, they had other neat stuff including handbags, wallets and the like. Super quality, but not cheap.

They’ve solved special belt issues for me for over 10 years. I live over 1000 miles away and do most of my business by mail order. i can’t imagine going to anyone else to get the quality and workmanship they offer.

Found a belt that didn’t fit right. The owner patiently worked so it fits perfect now and can be adjusted. The service was great.

I was told they had walking sticks so stopped to ask. They had discontinued carrying them but the staff was so rude that I left angry and embarrassed for even having asked. My brother-in-law was looking for a leather item and was so put off by the rudeness that he left as well. It was not busy but the staff seemed much more interested in each other than the customers. If they don’t like tourists maybe they should relocate!

Mediocre products terrible customer service. There was one rude female employee waiting on a customer when we arrived. Evidently the 2 knew each other as the employee proceeded to divulge into a lengthy conversation complaining about how worthless the owner is. We found the item we wanted and walked up to the front register to pay. We waited patiently for over 5 minutes while the employee chatted incessantly. The customer that the employee was talking to noticed that we had been waiting for a while and casually said to feel free to ring us up. The employees retort was that she could care less. I responded that we felt the same and walked out. The great part was so did the customer waiting in line behind me with a disgusted look on her face. I guess business must be going well for letherwerks they feel like they can treat their customers like dirt. I would gladly switch to suspenders before I ever buy a belt from them.

Some cute stuff inside. Could use a little more variety in selection, but what they have is nice and seems high quality. A little expensive, but it is hand worked leather, so the premium is to be expected. Very nice staff that is dog friendly.
