I hear that Alma Del Monte is no longer a B&B but a rather a house you can rent at the base of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. My wife and I got married at Alma Del Monte, right in the living room. The house is set on a beautiful location with full panoramic views of the mountains and desert. It’s isolated but not too far from downtown Taos and the ski resorts. Jan and Phyllis Waye, the Innkeepers, are very knowledgeable about the area. We spent a week there and it cost is around 1200, which was a small price to pay for such beauty and service.
