Tu valoración: 3 Downtown St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay, FL
Work Space is extremely tiny — perhaps the tiniest little gallery/art space I’ve ever seen(about the size of three very large walk-in closets). Not only that, but there is no air conditioning, which means the place gets very hot and humid outside the cooler months of the year. That being said, they seem to show some interesting local art on a shoestring budget; I went for the Paradise City group show from the Tampa artist collective, Fountain of Pythons, and really enjoyed myself despite sweating buckets. They had free beer and wine, there was at least one artist worth collecting, and the crowd was a fun mix of artists, hipsters and eccentrics. I will check them out again for future shows, but will dress very lightly so I don’t drown in my own bodily fluids next time. Two thumbs up?
