I love to come here for my nutritional needs. Charles is very knowledgeable in health and wellness and I trust his expertise when selecting supplements I need to support my goals. It’s not like at other major retailers that start with a «G» where the staff knows nothing about health or care about helping the customer with their goals. Their prices are fair and they offer several promotional sales monthly. They also have a sampling wall so you can sample many of the products before you buy them so you are not stuck with a horrible flavor.

Located off South Howard in a retail building behind Starbucks, Total Nutrition has a great location with plenty of parking. The store is well appointed with products to help enhance your workout and life.
The staff is knowledgable and desires to guide you to the best choice of product for you. I appreciate that they offer samples for their customers to try.
The manager told me that the store relocated from Westchase but that many customers had followed them to their new location.

As I mentioned, I’m recently hitting the gym so I wanted to look up a nutrition store to check out and Total Nutrition Tampa was all over instagram so I thought why not check it out. The store is located behind Starbucks off Howard Avenue in SoHo.
I went in to check it out and the GM Charles was super-​friendly. As someone who doesn’t know a whole lot about supplements, he gave me a quick crash-​course on what they offer and his recommendations for someone just starting out.
The GM was not too pushy and I appreciated his honest advice on the products — he showed me a variety of products and I took some home some samples to try so I can figure out what I want to actually use when I’m building muscle. I’ll also note that everything in the store was organized well.

One of the worst visits I have had to a supplement store in a very long time. I first walked in to the store and was not greeted due to the person working there (he had tattoos on his arm, I do not know his name because he did not introduce himself to me) was on his personal phone with what sounded to be a friend of his. After I stood there for a few minutes he told the person he was talking to on his phone «hold on someone is here.» He did not get up and just said «hi,» then went back to talking on the phone. He then went to put the phone on speaker and blast rock music to his friend on the phone and was swearing to him about «how f-​ing awesome this song is,» and «how you are a moron for not liking this song.» There were some other profane things said but I don’t want to get into that.
So during the time I was looking at pre-​workouts I had a few questions about some of the pricing since it was not visible. When I asked what the price was, it seemed like I was asking one of the hardest questions ever because he just looked at me and told the person again on the phone «hold on someone needs something.» I mean call me crazy but when you have a customer shouldn’t you drop what you are doing and help them?
Anyway, he told me the price was $ 59.99 for the product but for me he could do $ 49.99. First off, the price should be marked on the supplement container to begin with. Second it seemed like he was just creating a price because he had to think about it before actually saying anything.
After he told me the price I put the container back down and decided to spend my money elsewhere at a store who respect me as a customer and know their products and the pricing. A company who will not try and take advantage of me and a company who makes me feel like I mean something when I walk in the door.
I will never be back to this store and will tell everyone I know not to go there…

Very helpful, and educated on all of their products. Awesome location with easy parking. I love when I go somewhere and they have samples, protein shakes can take on a unique taste, so it helps that I can try it first before buying a gallon of it. Oh! and with my purchase I got a nifty little workout tank. Thanks Jason !

These guys are great They are very knowledgable and have everything you need. I found a great protein there that was called ice cream sandwich. 0 carbs 0 sugar 0 fat ETB. If they don’t have it then you don’t need it.
