Located conveniently in Soho on Howard ave North of Macdintons and south of Cheap at the former Ribit’s BBQ. I didn’t care much for Ribit’s BBQ and I’ve always been a big fan of taco bus so I was happy to see this addition to Howard ave! The closest taco bus is downtown and it’s a pain to Park over there so I don’t go too often. I will be coming here often since it is walking distance to me. I had 2 carne asada tacos for $ 7 with their famous sauces and it was awesome! Currently, there are 2 taco bus food trucks here until the physical building location will be built out so they’re operating on kind of a limited menu. They offer chicken, carne asada steak, and butternut squash but no pulled pork or carnitas like at their other locations. You can get 2 tacos for $ 7, a burrito for $ 8, tacos w rice and beans for $ 10, or a burrito W rice and beans for $ 11. If it’s anything like downtown, décor will be probably be no frills w a bus, Mexican statue, and a sign that Says broken English perfectly spoken like at the other Taco Bus locations in Tampa. There is limited parking available onsite. There are many competing restaurants in Soho also offering tacos. I like this place better than Tijuana flats and Bartacos but the Green Lemon beats this place for variety of tacos and décor currently. Once the restaurant opens with the expanded menu, it may be a closer call. Their marinades and sauces truly are one of a kind and delicious though. The food trucks will be here 5PM-3AM Thursday to Sunday and won’t be here Monday Tuesday Wednesday. I will be coming back again soon! Thanks! :)
