I have been here a few times and I will continue to come back. I have never ordered the sushi, but the thai food is delicious. I usually order the Pad Thai, but their other noodle and curry dishes are good too. It’s a great date place and I love the ground seating with the cut out space under the table for your legs. My only complaint is that the last waiter I had didn’t know the menu very well and couldn’t be bothered to find out and explain. However, all other staff have been fine.

I wanted to try something new in the area i was at, looked on Unilocal and i had a taste for thai in the USF area of Tampa. From the pictures i was interested due to the Traditional seating with the low tables, and you sit on pillows very comfortable i have to say, you take off your shoes before entering very relaxed atmosphere. They have a rather large menu many many choices for everyone to choose from. I ended up ordering a couple different things to try, started out with the vegetarian fresh rolls(fresh lettuce, cilantro, green onion, carrot, and rice noodle wrapped in rice paper) very filling. I also tried the vegetable avocado roll as well as the thomka coconut soup, service was amazing and very gracious and courteous. My friend had the chicken basil entrée with white rice, the flavor was perfect. when you venture to this treasure its hidden off the side of the building the sign is bright and neon you cant miss it once you find it. Please try this amazing thai restaurant and give north tampa the support it needs.

I love this place and it’s my go-to place for Sushi in New Tampa. The staff is always super nice, food is served quickly and I find their food very delicious. I ate lunch their twice this past week and only gave them a 4, because I thought thier sushi was a little on the room temp side and when it comes to sushi I like to be sure it’s chilled properly.

I have been going to Sukho Thai since I was a teenager. This is the first place I had to take my shoes off to dine in a restaurant and loved it! My family and I started going to the one on Dale Mabry and I’m so happy there is one closer to home. I’ve never had a bad dish and the servers make you feel welcome.

One of our primary go-to date night stops. The sushi and cooked food are consistently excellent. We love the quaint atmosphere! The staff has always been very accommodating. They don’t take reservation but we’re willing to make one for a group celebration of 10 friends.

I love this place. It’s cozy, it’s romantic, it’s got good people. Just tried two new rolls tonight and they were amazing. The Momoko Maki with krab stick, shrimp, avocado, cucumber and lettuce wrapped in rice paper and topped with wakame salad was light and fresh. The wakame salad added a nice touch to the sushi that I’ve not experienced before. I can’t believe I haven’t had that combo before today. The SLT roll had salmon, cream cheese, lettuce and tomato topped with avocado and spicy mayo. This roll was more hearty than the Momoko Maki and just as delicious. Actually, both rolls were ridiculously delicious. Love our favorite server Abdul. He’s so service oriented, is always smiling and is very personable.

Went here on a Thursday night with my friend and it was really fun. We sat on floor mats and ate at these awesome tables that mirror the ones used in actual restaurants in Thailand. The service was very friendly and we never had to search for someone to help us, the owner himself was happy to serve us. We ordered a chicken pad thai to share and a mexican, spicy tuna, and bon bon roll. They were so delicious but the mexican roll was my faveorite. This restautant also has the freshest sushi fish, rice and fillings I have had in New Tampa which deserves a lot of commendation! Thank you Sukhothai

The best sushi in Tampa hands down! I really wasn’t expecting much when I ordered the sushi because I have just had meh sushi in the aria but I decided I’ll give it a try and now I’m a regular.

Well… if you enjoy Kkkkrab then this is the place for you. This the first Thai restaurant we have been to in Tampa. Based upon other cities, it was disappointing and expensive. Hope this is not the standard for here as Thai is one of our favorite cuisines. Whole fried snapper, 1.5 lbs almost $ 30. $ 3 to add broccoli to veggie fried rice. Had to keep asking for water refills. Place is small and popular. Must be the novelty of sitting on the floor as it is not based upon the food quality. Would not return to dine there.

I love the floor seating and staff is super nice. Food is always fresh and sushi is incredible for this fusion place. The sautéed tofu and veggies is great and they are willing to roll my sushi with the seaweed on the outside. I love them for this!

Went with a group of 6. Service was extremely slow. Food was ok but not the best Thai I have had. Some guests pad Thai chicken was very dry. Drinks took forever for refills. Would look elsewhere before coming back for dinner.

This is the best Thai that I have found in the New Tampa area. The food taste much more fresh than other Thai restaurants. I got the cashew chicken with brown rice and finished the whole plate, which was a nice generous portion. My girlfriend really enjoyed her sushi as well. I enjoy the location as well as the atmosphere. They have a cool dining area that appears as if you are sitting on the floor but your feet actually go underneath the table and they require you to take off your shoes which make the experience seem more authentic. The service is pretty good as well. I will be coming back soon.

Yes again a brilliant 4 star restaurant. The baked tofu is delicious and the spicy Panang with soft tofu brought back great memories from yesteryears. Friend had the salmon ginger and rated it 7/10, he felt it was overcooked otherwise wud have given a 8⁄9. Definitely a place worth coming back to. We all agreed that the condiments of different hot chillies(4) is a splendid touch to authenticity of Thai restaurant.

This place has the best sushi in Tampa hands down also the fried rice is also pretty awesome! The sushi is always fresh, the staff is always attentive polite and remembers us. It is a quiet place to relax and you really feel like a valued customer. They have two dining area one with tables and one where you can sit on cushions on the floor. The aria is always spotless so no need to worry about it being dirty. The food comes out fairly quick about 10 – 15 min at most. And if anything is wrong(super rare) they are quick to fix it and make it right. The only thing I didn’t care for is I noticed all the appetizers all pretty much taste the same. We have tried almost all of them and the meat is all the same kind of filling. That would be my only advice to them«change up the flavors a bit not just the sauce you dip it in» I would normally take a star away for this but I really love this place and it should have all 5 stars!

I’ve ate sushi all over the country and this is by far the best! I haven’t tried the Thai food here but the sushi is A1! It is my favorite place to go! I go here about twice a month! If you are there try the baby octopus, volcano roll, huwaian roll, tempora roll. The manager there is great, and the sushi cook is great!

Highly recommend going during the lunch time and getting: 1. Panang beef curry and coconut cream served with chicken wings 2. Tampa roll, Chicken Pad Thai, Gyozas, and salad Both of them in Thai hot. if you can handle the heat ;) There is a real great waitress that works there whose name escapes me right now but she was really friendly, and helpful.

4 stars because this place has really good Thai food and pretty good service but it is not quite the best I have had in Tampa. You will not be dissapointed in your meal if you come here. They have a large selection of Sushi and other Thai dishes. Don’t forget to get the mango sticky rice for dessert, very delicious. I have been here 3 to 4 times and sometimes the service is spot on and others it is just average. It is pretty hard to find so use those Google maps like I know you know how to. This is close to my apartment and has become my go to when I am feeling lazy and don’t want to travel too far for sushi or Thai food.

You’ve got to try thai food with the traditional seating, it’s a lovely ambience! The service was great, the red and green curries are awesome! Thai ice tea is a favorite!!!

This place is awesome. Open for lunch and dinner. Everything from the sushi to the dinner plates are done well, top notch. I enjoy the combination plates to taste a little of a lot. The salad comes with an Italian like dressing but with a sweet tone to it, not your usual ginger dressing. If you are a soup fan(phở), try the spicy beef soup.
