This place was terrible! Where do I begin? Appetizers came out right before the food. Pita for the humus was burnt. Sweet potato fries were way over salted. Waitress was terrible about replenishing drinks. My friends were staying at the hotel. I won’t be back.

Unless you’re staying at the Sheraton Hotel in Westshore(which is where this restaurant is located in) or have a coupon from , there’s really no reason to come here. There’s tons of restaurants in that area with better, similar priced steaks. Even with the coupon, our tab still came out well over 100+ for 4 people. FOOD: My prime rib was well cooked however under seasoned. They ran out of dinner bread because there was a large party happening in their event hall which took precedence over the rest of the restaurant. Their grouper sandwich was surprisingly good. It was well seasoned, well cooked and not overly fishy. In fact, it may be the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had SERVICE: We had a sweet server named Julie who was prompt and on top of everything despite being the only one working the entire restaurant. She was very sorry about the bread even though it wasn’t her fault. I was really sad about not being able to stuff my face with the dinner rolls but the apology made it all better Would I come here again? Yea, but only to ask out Julie on a date.(I hope my girlfriend doesn’t read this) TL;DR — come to stay at the hotel but don’t come here to ea

We had the Melt and Dip sandwich with sweet potato fries. Very good. There was a nice amount of the au jus for dipping and the meat was lean and not all gristle as some we have had elsewhere. I must admit a few other items on the menu had me raising an eyebrow. A few other menu items sounded good but went untried but a few. .. Coconut shrimp with shrimp cocktail sauce instead of a sweeter sauce???

This restaurant is located in the atrium area of the Sheraton Suites. Went in on a Sunday night, and there were only two other occupied tables. I just attributed that to a slow hotel week at the airport area in Tampa. I was staying next door at the Doubletree, and they were empty also. I had a coupon from , and I had to spend $ 20 to use it. I figured it was easy in a hotel restaurant. Prices were moderate to high for a hotel restaurant. Appetizers average $ 7 to $ 11, and entrees were $ 11 and up to $ 2950. I was told that the soup of the day was vegetable, and the server returned to clarify that it was cream of salmon and vegetable. Sounded horrible. She offered a sample, which confirmed its level of awfulness. I contemplated ordering the $ 30 ribeye, but if I were to spend that type of money I would rather go to a steakhouse– even with the $ 10 off from the coupon. I ordered a burger medium rare with Swiss, bacon, sauteed mushrooms and onions. I chose crispy steak fries as the accompaniment. The burger came out medium well and unseasoned. By the taste of the meat itself, I could tell it was a quality hamburger but unseasoned by the chef. The toppings did not have to add much to the party. The Swiss cheese was not flavorful, the bacon tasted cheap and greasy, and the mushrooms and onions were not seasoned either. It is quite a shame that they should waste such a beautiful restaurant and high quality ingredients on serving bland food. A compliment goes out for the pickle, however. My server, Jane, is the only reason I upgraded the review from a single star to a double star. She made an unbearable dinner fun. She really did her best to make it better, but unfortunately she was not the chef. The burger and soda came out to $ 13 so I didn’t even bother to use the coupon because I couldn’t bear spending another $ 7 to use the discount. What a shame, they have a beautiful restaurant in a awesome atrium, and they squander the opportunity.
