I love me some poutine. Beyond excited to see one open in the South. Definitely worth a try. I like that they serve it piping hot so that the curds are melted. The gravy isn’t too salty. Also enjoyed their BBQ version. Nice comfort food on a hot and humid Florida night. Highly recommend.

Smoke’s Poutinerie has arrived in Tampa! Yes, albeit, it is in Amalie Arena in Section 304, but it is here! I am pretty sure I was the first person to get to the third level as I raced excitedly to get to Smoke’s Poutinerie. I booked it all the way to Section 304 and was so happy to see no line. For those not familiar with poutine, it is a French Canadian dish of French fries topped with cheese curds and beef gravy. There are various kinds of poutine offered besides the traditional dish($ 12) and those are priced at $ 14. They consist of the following: Bacon Double Pork Pulled Pork Chicken, Bacon, Ranch You can also order plain fries($ 8.25) or fries and gravy($ 9). Being the bacon lover I am, I ordered the… bacon poutine. The portion was more than generous and I had to have my friends help me finish it off. The poutine was delicious and loaded with lots of bacon, but there were not enough cheese curds. The staff was still being trained when I was waiting for my food and moved a bit slow. Hopefully, this is will improve since hockey season starts next week and the crowds will be crazy. It is rare I sit in the 300 level for hockey games, but when I am there this season, I will go back and try some of their other offerings.
