I always have pre flight mimosas here. The bartenders are efficient and friendly. They don’t change staff often so u can get to know them and vice versa if u fly a lot. One of my fav places in the airport scene

Was hoping to get a nice glass of wine here, but no luck. Limited wine list. Service is very slow, so don’t go if you are in a hurry to catch a flight. I ordered the cheesy chips and salsa as a mid day snack and it was mainly chip crumbs with a little bit of melted cheese, a bed of lettuce with about 4 tablespoons of guacamole and a small cup of salsa out of a jar. The server was very pleasant– just a bit slow.

Place looked nice and was busy, but when I sat down at the bar to place an order, I was told they were closing in 15 minutes and I would only be allowed to get 1 to go drink to take with me. Even though there were about 20 people still eating and drinking inside the place. I think some places just don’t like my appearance, ha. So I left and went down a few shops and got me a drink there, and when I came back by this place about 30 – 45 minutes later there were still at least 10 people sitting inside talking, eating, and drinking. Guess they don’t need my business, so I wont go back.

We had dinner before a flight and liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. We waited a while for the server to even take our drink order. I had the turkey club and my husband had the chicken pecan salad. We both started out with wedding soup. The soup was very good, loads of flavor and full of all the goodies in wedding soup. My husband really liked his salad. Lots of good, fresh ingredients and a nice size for a meal. I was disappointed with my turkey club. The bread was super thick and the turkey was deli turkey, not real turkey. Service ended up getting better and our meal came quickly and hot. The menu is very nice and next time I need to pick something different.

Sitting here now. Ordered a burger medium rare and it took nearly a half hour. The place isn’t busy! When I finally got it, it was if they cooked it for the whole half hour. It was like a hockey puck. Do not come here. You may miss your flight and if you do eat, it will stink.

Gino is the best!!! Walked in before my flight, asked my flight time and was so accommodating. I only had a few drinks here, can’t speak for the food, but the service is phenomenal! Double thumbs up for Gino

Love this small little bar /restaurant next to the Jet Blue gates of TPA. I’ve been going here forever — and nothing has changed; for good. The place is divided into 2 sections when you enter. The one on the left is a bar seating with a parallel row of tables next to it. The bar has the same staff that I have come across ever since I started flying into TPA for my annual thanksgiving tradition. The staff — especially the very kind waitress who is always behind the bar — is some of the nicest people I have come across in recent memory. There are enough TV screens for your sports watching pleasures. To go with it, a very decent selection of beer on the tap and she will remind you of the savings if you go for the larger glass and not to forget a shot of vodka for an additional $ 4 only! Not that I am a beer with a vodka or any kinda shot kinda man — anymore, but still, it is good to know and a flashback to the past and the good ol days :) The food — very rarely do I dine in here but the few times that I have, it has been good. At least the fare is standard but freshly prepared and doesn’t give you the frozen food being warmed and served kinda feeling. Call me a creature of habit, but when you have a place that never disappoints, why stop going there? There is a mexican cantina a few gates away, but not sure why this bar has been our go to place. May be it is the proximity to the gates? Or may be it is just the good ol staff. Whatever it is — I like it!

Basic chain fare. Nothing to write home about. The waiter asked if I wanted my mahi mahi sandwich grilled or blackened. I opted for blackened. There wasn’t a trace of blackened seasoning. The sandwich was a basic grilled sandwich. It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t blackened.
