Overall I like this store. Its clean and well organized, you don’t feel like your in a dump rummaging for treasures.(although sometimes that is very exciting) Good furniture selection, you are in a great area to find some high end furniture from Hyde Park and Bayshore homes. I often see antique silver pieces as well as beautiful crystal. Items that once held such value are selling for 1.99 usually as brickabrack. Its a great store just to check in on from time to time if you are a thrift junkie. The staff there are fantastic, a well done business.

I love thrifting for treasures and unique clothes/accessories, so I had to check out this store. It’s clean, got a private parking lot(though small) and nice employees. Only 2 – 3 racks of women’s clothes though, so it was not worth the trip from Carrollwood. Small but nice. Won’t be returning

Maybe it’s because I’m a New York City native where most second-hand clothing is labeled«vintage»(and is therefore overpriced), but seeing a price tag that read $ 1.99 attached to a well-kept snakeskin dress made me feel downright giddy. On top of that, there was an extra 50% discount because it was Wednesday(they do half-off deals on Wednesdays), which brought this wonderful garment to ONE whole dollar. I also bought a silky kimono-style robe, a sparkly leopard top which is perfect for a trip to Atlantic City or Vegas, a beautiful black open-knit sweater/shrug that was crocheted to look like lace, a big t-shirt that says«You mess with me and you mess with the whole trailer park», a cotton floral robe and a copy of All Quiet on the Western Front. The grand total? Ten dollars! My wallet was crying tears of joy, and so was I… on the inside, of course. In addition to the prices being incredibly low, there is a very large selection of clothing, shoes, belts and accessories for men and women and they are organized and maintained very well. There are also three dressing rooms off to one side of the store, which is a bonus, since I haven’t seen that in any other Salvation Army I’ve been to before. You can also find some decent books across a variety of subjects, household goods and knick knacks for reasonable-to-dirt-cheap prices. The customers and employees were very pleasant when I was there, which made the visit even more enjoyable. If you have a chunk of time and want some nice and interesting finds, I’d recommend going here!

Generally the same as other Salvation Armies. We do find some items from time to time, but the prices are considerably more expensive than I’d like to pay for used items.

Tiny location can be hit or miss, but they tend to get some interesting furniture! This isn’t our primary haunt but when nearby we always check out what’s new on the floor.

Very small and parking is scarce on this busy stretch of S. MacDill. But this is one of the classier Thrifts since they get better grade donations… designer clothing and near-antique, upper end furniture and art. A fine place for browsing before dinner at Byblos across the street.

I’ve been here a few times. They have some cool items sometimes, but I could not find anything that was functional. If you’re thifting, I would recommend this place be last on your list, if at all, since it would probably be a waste of time.

This Salvation Army is perfectly placed– right in the middle of all rich suburbia in Tampa Bay. I often find hardly worn Express, Banana Republic, and NY& Co business wear.

The Salvation Army is right up the street from my house, so I’ve been known to drop stuff off there quite a bit. They have a nice selection inside with both furniture and clothes. I bought a nice desk here a while back.

I love this thrift shop. For many years it was across from my office(where Beef O Brady’s is now) and I’d pop in and find fantastic stuff almost every week(this was the 80s) At one point they tarted it up, added working air conditioning and popped the prices up a tad too… that seems to have worn off and the selection is now properly priced to move those donated items. On the shelf today, two awesome 1960s style punch bowl sets. Nearby a great office chair for 40 bucks and a rug on a stand that was ugly, but cheap. I kinda miss the old trashy feel it once had, but it sure is a nicer place to shop now that it was in those days…
