Best value in town. The meat is very soft and perfectly seasoned, even when you order well done. I am a regular. This place is very south american. For a real treat, ask if they have Pascualito, which is a chicken pot pie. This is a picture of your plate when you finish. You won’t leave even a bite, no matter what you order.

Before you even enter the restaurant, you can smell the smoke from the grilled meats from the parking lot. It was a good sign for those carnivores in my party. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered a variety of things. I did find the sausage to be a tad too salty but the rest of the meats were very well cooked and flavorful. The only thing I wish they would improve on is more choice in sauces. It would be nice to have something bright and tangy to cut through the fattiness of the meat. I found the sauces too rich to go with the meat. Overall, a great place if you are craving well-cooked meat.

Can’t get to Argentina tonight for a parrilla? No problem, Che! Renzo’s is here to help you save money on airfare. Excellent food and friendly service. Don’t even bother going to The Door. I’ve lived in Argentina and this is truly as good as you’re gonna get without leaving EEUU. It may not be better than your Tio’s or tuyo primo’s, but it’s still — really, really good. No mollejas or Quilmes… I prefer Schneider anyway and there’s no way to get it outside of Argentina. But, really? No mollejas? Por que??? But still — 5 stars. Because it’s that good. Si o si?

I’ve never heard of this place until a friend took me the other night. I was blown away. Great food. Very wife loves the deserts here. This might be one of Tampa’s best hidden gems.

I would have to say this original location is way better than there other location in Carrollwood. We shared the beef parrilla which was cooked to perfection. The tostones(green plantains) are fried to a blissful crispyness. They only serve beer and wine so be aware, but they do have a great selection of wine. The service was excellent and took care of our every need and want. If your looking for a great place to enjoy a excellent piece of beef make sure to check them out… I highly recommend the vacio or entrania you will be pleased…

Came in on Sunday after the beach with wife and kids to try the Mighty Renzo stake sandwich and well… hands down the best sandwich in Tampa! Recommendation: share between 2 people or join a gym!

This is a great little family run restaurants whenever you want a taste of the southern cone. This is Argentine and Uruguayan cuisine in a casual setting. Also a great place to watch CONMEBOL matches on the television. We like to get the mixed grill, the empanadas are delicious and the lunch sandwiches are a good value. They also have a nice, reasonably priced selection of South American wines.

I. Love. Churrasco. Steak. One night a couple of friends asked if I wanted to try Renzo’s, I jumped at the chance. The restaurant is a lot more casual than I had thought, like a diner. The place was packed and the servers were running around like mad. It did take a while to place our orders, but the food did arrive at a reasonable time. We ordered individual entrees and I, of course, ordered the Churrasco. I saw a lot of the parties that have lots of people order the Table Side Grill, which is a heaping of meat on a hot grilled placed on your table. The amount of meat is insane! My steak was seasoned right and as tender a skirt steak can be. I also enjoyed an order of Tostones and a flan from the dessert case. If you’re a fan of meat and a lot of it, Renzo’s in the place.

We accidentally discovered this place while getting a foot massage next door. It is an Argentine restaurant that specializes in fresh-cut me and lots of variety of wine. We stopped and had lunch and decided to try the signature sandwich which is the Ultimate Renzo. The sandwich was fabulous to say the least and comes with grilled chicken ham bacon and a fried egg. We also had a few empanadas which were only two dollars and were awesome. The food was so good I decided to take some home for the family. I definitely recommend trying this place if you are in the area

Don’t be fooled by this location, as it is not in the fancy part of town, but once you enter, you can see the place is very nice, and has a huge selection of wine, many foreign beers, and other drinks, along with a South American ambiance. I met and talked to the owner, Renzo, for a short minute, and he is a genuinely nice guy, who wants to take care of his customers, and make certain they have an excellent experience while in his establishment. They serve several meals as authentically prepared in Argentina and Uruguay. We tried the highly recommend and popular Ultimate Renzo sandwich, which came out on about a 10 inch white bread sub bun, and mine had steak, ham, bacon, 2 fried eggs, cheese, lettuce, tomato, green olives, and I think that’s all. My friend had the same, except instead of steak he had grilled chicken. These come with large cut french fries, and substitutions are not allowed. The sandwiches were very healthy in size and tasted fresh and pleased my taste buds. We also tried and enjoyed the $ 2 empanada appetizers. I had two; beef and chicken, and my friend had spinach. They offered us two types of sauces for dipping, both were good. The large dinners made for 2 or more looked excellent on the menu, but that will be for another time. They have a good sized wine room for the connoisseur. At the rear of the restaurant you can see inside the butcher’s glass counter, the exquisite cuts of meat available for the choosing. The service, presentation, and food were all excellent. I will return here for more! The restaurant was kept clean, and well organized. All was very good! On a side note, this hidden gem was discovered because we went a couple doors down in the same strip mall to the Happy Foot Chinese Massage business for 90 minute massages, which were also great! Men, take note, this is a great combo for a date; get a very relaxing massage, then come here for a wonderful dining experience. Bam! Winner, winner!

While staying at the Sheraton Suites, so glad to have found this convenient Latin cuisine restaurant that offers some non meat options. Tucked on a corner with a colorful mural on its exterior side wall, it was a bit hard to find. I had called ahead to order takeout for a light dinner option of empanadas and the tuna salad. The empanada pastry dough was very light and flaky. I ordered a chicken one and a spinach. Both had plenty of yummy fillings. The spinach one even had some cheese… feta? inside. I asked for some chimichurri sauce on the side which was a perfect accompaniment. The salad had plenty of tuna on top of it. I asked for some avocado to be added on top which was delicious.(the $ 4 up charge for a few pieces was a bit $$$ though). It looked like fresh bread was served to diners. Quite a few tempting deserts in a pastry case… to try next time.

Came here for a Valentine’s Day lunch! It was empty today but that’s fine because I hate crowded restaurants. We ordered the Parillo solo carne and it comes on a grill with heaters at the bottom. 7 different cuts of steam for two to share with two sides. The meat was tender and flavorful. We ordered yucca fries and a house salad. The yucca came with chimichurri sauce that I also put on my steak. I really liked the yucca fries and they were not too greasy. For only $ 41 for two to share with good steak cuts this is a great date deal. I also noticed they have several wines and dessert case along the wall. I would recommend this place especially for a date night.

When you walk in you realize quickly that it’s a casual spot where everyone is comfortable with each other and often many of the customers know one another. That made me like it right off the bat my first time walking in. It’s just one of those places you walk into and just KNOW you’re going to enjoy. I’ll be blunt and to the point. There’s nothing I’ve had on the menu that I didn’t LOVE. Ever. Not once… and I’ve been a lot now. My favorites are the Mighty Renzo sandwich and the INSANE meat sampler that is so ridiculously amazing, I literally can’t say enough about it. So you get it, I love the food here… but that’s not the #1 reason why I come back. The way we are treated is why I go so much. Yes, we are treated well but it’s not what you may think. It’s not that they cater to your every whim, it’s that they are casual and comfortable and make you feel that way from when you walk in to when you walk out. That I value. That I deem special and that family atmosphere is hard to create in a restaurant environment.

I was looking for a lunch option with a friend and we found this place on Saturday. Not good with Argentinian names, but I ate a sirloin sandwich with fries. I liked the bread and the veggies in the sandwich. The sirloin was great and I really liked the fries. They also had Spanish Soccer on TV(Sevilla-Malaga), so it might be a good place to when there is Barca or Real Madrid game.

First timer. The place looks very inviting, the VP of Marketing was very nice and tried his best to win us to come back. He gave us apps and other things to try on the house which was a great opener. I gave this place 3 stars because of the server. Not sure if it was his bad day or whatever but after taking our orders and pouring us wine, he never came back to check on us. We had to wave him down to get another bottle because we waited over 1hr for our food. Then we found out the order was never placed… Sorry but not a lot of business give u 2hrs for lunch!

The very best Latin style steak in Tampa Bay. You made us feel as we were eating in our home country. And A1 service as well.

This was by far my favorite restaurant that I visited while on my Tampa trip. I still think of this food and if I lived remotely close to this place I would eat here a minimum of once per week. When I think of Argentine Steakhouse I think of those crazy places that walk around the tables with meat on skewers where you eat so much you want to throw up. This is not this place. The servers are super friendly and you order off of a menu. The atmosphere is pretty casual, but the food is fantastic. I bet you could come back and try several different items and they’d all be good, but I went with my friend’s suggestion and would probably order the same thing if I ever returned. We both got the Churrasco de Entraña, which is essentially skirt steak. The most delicious skirt steak that I had ever tasted in my life. They came with these great Yucca fries which had this amazing sauce — I could eat those yucca fries for days. We also shared an appetizer which really made this meal nothing short of mind-blowing. It was called Provoletta Parrillera, which is this ceramic dish filled with these little cheese balls and spices. You pop out a little ball and eat it with bread… and then you die a happy person. Not really, but I don’t think it would be possible for me to come here and not order this. OMG… I finished off the meal with their homemade Tres Leches. It was pretty darn good, and they had several other desserts that looked amazing as well. I only wish that I lived here so that I could become a regular at this place — I tell you if I did, they’d know me by name here. After all of that — this place is incredibly inexpensive. I felt like with the quality and amount of food I had that I had robbed them for sure.

On recommendations from several people I decided to give Renzo’s a try. I walked in on a Monday evening and it was pretty light. I grabbed a seat at the bar(because I was alone and didn’t really need an entire table to myself). There were a couple of things I knew, without looking at the menu, that I knew I had to sample. Of course, a good Argentine Malbec and some empanadas. Anything else would just be icing on the cake. So, I sat at the bar and ordered a glass of Malbec only to find out they don’t have many by the glass options. I wasn’t too thrilled about that because I just wanted a glass or 2 but certainly wanted some options. The server then told me they have a standard house Malbec that they offer by the glass. I ordered that and it was actually pretty good which was surprising. Most of the time, house wines are horrible. I ordered milanesa and yucca fries and it took everything in me to not plow through everything. I really had to pace myself and eat like a lady but it was hard because it was so good. The steak was nicely breaded and the breading actually stuck on the meat! I then ordered the empanadas and I almost cried because they were so tasty. I mean they were«I need a moment of silence» good. So well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The dough wasn’t burned or soggy. They were just perfect. The server was nice and overall I really liked this place. Since I have to go back to Tampa soon I know one place I’ll definitely be heading back to.
