Located right off beautiful bayshore is this mom and pop style restaurant, I’ve been here numerous times and have always been surprised by the continuous friendly homestyle service and quality of food. From what I’ve observed they got the same guy in the back cooking every time I’ve been here and that would be the reason for the consistency in the quality(poor him but yay for me). Hands down my favorite breakfast spot in the Bay Area for the price, which is questionably low, almost too low… I usually get the county omelette with toast without butter. Everytime it has come out in less than 8 minutes(even during a rush) and it’s always been spot on, the guy knows what he’s doing.

My favorite breakfast spot in all of Tampa. Anything on the house specialties. The home fries are unreal. Everything’s priced super reasonable. Homie feel to this place that has great service with a friendly staff that will make you feel at home. Better than anything in soho! Give Pach’s a try!

Don’t let the casual location fool you, the food is awesome, and so reasonably priced! It’s one of those little locally-owned gems of Tampa! The eggs florentine was delicious, but they have a huge variety of mouth-watering menu options.

I go there most Saturday’s with my 2 year old daughter so my wife can sleep in. The food is great and service is even better. I highly recommend it.

I got the everything skillet, a bowl of fruit, and a coffee for brunch on Sunday. I love the taste and flavors of everything I got. The skillet was unique and delicious. The fruit bowl was fresh and still cold and the coffee was hot. I gave 5 stars because the food was wonderful, the price was more than reasonable($ 8 for an everything skillet that I made 2 meals out of), service was great, and everyone was friendly. When we came for brunch, we were lucky to get a table rather quickly but they got so packed. There was a line going out the door. This is such a hot spot!

The lady working the counter was awesome. She’s one of the friendliest customer service people I’ve come across in a very long time. The place itself is pretty cozy, and seemed to service a lot of elderly people. It was sort of like an old school diner feel(which I like). I ordered one of their skillets which was very good. I kind of appreciate that they don’t add a lot of salt to their food. I was told that their egg salad was good too. However, when I tried the pancakes, it hard a super weird taste to it. I don’t know if something was bad in the batter, or if they add a super weird ingredient to it… Either way, I felt pretty bad to ask because the experience was good otherwise so I let it go. Overall the experience was good, and I can see us coming back. Id recommend the skillet to anyone because they aren’t too many places that have them in the area, and it’s a very good portion for a fantastic price!

Stumbled upon this place on a busy Saturday and after hearing so many good things about it, I decided the line was worth waiting for. So we waited… I ordered an omelet, with chocolate chip pancakes. I’m one to not eat much white flour but these had my name all over it. They served enough food you will definitely have left overs. Parking can be a bit difficult to find so be prepared or arrive early.

You would never know this is in that plaza but it may have the best breakfast in Tampa. Their isn’t a lot of seating inside but they have such a quick turnaround you never have to wait for long.

I really like this place. This is definitely a mom and pop diner like place. I have come here a few times as my friends love to make this a Sunday brunch staple. I have gotten a few things from here and would say they are all good. The best aspect of this place is the amount of food that you get for the price. My bill never seems to be over $ 10 and I always have leftovers to take home, The wait time here is another bonus. There isn’t really anywhere to stand or wait for a table so it gets cramped, but I have never waited longer than 10 minutes as they really get people in and out pretty quickly. The only drawback for me is the lack of mimosas or bloody Mary’s and that fact that they aren’t open very late. I would love to frequent this place for dinner because who doesn’t love breakfast for dinner.

So our first time in Tampa and we found Pachs on Unilocal! We decided to venture out and this place is cool. We arrived no wait for a table and we saw a lot of regulars there so we knew it would be good. We waited for 45 mins for our food while others were coming in after us and getting their food long before we did. Several times we asked and the wait staff said they would check. Finally after 45 mins we got our food. French fries were cold but my son’s burger was ordered med well and it came well done. My food was on the cold side, I had the steak omelet. I had to remind thee wait staff for a refill on coffee twice and my son’s water as well. I know it was a busy spot and it’s a local favorite so I will give it 3 stars and try it next visit. I will keep you posted.

Wonderful home cooking in a small setting with the friendliest waitresses. Their cream chipped beef over toast and corn beef hash with a poached egg are my favorites!

Classic, consistent reliable place for breakfast and lunch. Excellent experienced servers who have mostly been here for years. Reasonably priced, classic menu. Gets very busy, especially on weekends but goes quickly. Additional parking behind the building(took me more than a year to figure that out!)

Pach’s has friendly and quick service, even when crowded! I went with my mother who is in a wheelchair and the waitresses were very accommodating in getting us an accessible table. I had the Everything Skillet and I can say that thing was massive for $ 7.95. Despite the portion size, Pach’s doesn’t sacrifice quality for size. The highlights of the skillet were the thick cuts of ham, delicious bacon, surprisingly well-done broccoli, and a smothering of cheese. As a SIDE, you get a stack of three pancakes or toast. When I saw all the options on the menu that included hollandaise, I asked for some as a side. To my surprise, the waitress quickly brought out an entire bowl of the stuff, allowing me to pour at my leisure. I’ll be honest: I couldn’t even finish the meal due to the enormous portions, so I boxed up the remainder. Don’t be afraid to ask for a take-out box! Happy eating!

Tiny little place, and on weekends you will always have a wait for a table, but it is a good, solid breakfast, and definitely worth the effort. This place has been at this location for a long time, and once you eat here, you’ll understand why. Most recently we went on a Sunday morning around 10:45 am. We waited for about 15 minutes, then agreed to take seats at the counter, since one section of the counter was not backed by those waiting in line. Service was pretty quick, even though the food took some time to come out. I had a huge egg white omelet with krab and broccoli, with the delicious mornay sauce on the side. FYI — their mornay sauce is hollandaise and cheddar cheese combined — yum! It was served with well-done home fries, and I went with chocolate chip pancakes as my other side. For an additional $ 0.95 you can upgrade to chocolate chip instead of plain pancakes and trust me, it is totally worth it. Everybody pays at the register by the counter, so it can get a bit backed up there at times, but that does help to expedite the table turn over, so it makes sense. They do have their own parking lot, which fills up quickly, so you may be stuck searching the neighborhood for a legal spot. Good luck, and enjoy!

This place is so small I almost hate to review it so I can always get a table. If you grew up in South Tampa, then you’ve probably eaten here at least once. This is a place filled with regulars, and I mean very regular regulars!!! We tend to see the same people talking and socializing each time we have breakfast here. Sometimes WE are even asked«where have you been?» or even«don’t you usually come in earlier?». With the same waitresses each day, they make it a point to get to know the regulars. That is special in itself. The food is normal diner breakfast fare. Eggs, potatoes, bacon, toast. Nothing fancy and sometimes that just what we want! The prices are right too. It probably explains the crowds that come here every weekend. Don’t worry, the place turns quick because the hash slinger on the grill has eight arms and is quick as lightning. And as always, you may just run into someone you know. Today it was my best friends Dad. He was on an outing from his ALF today. Is he not the cutest? I’m giving it 4 stars instead of five because the menu is very basic.

Always a bustling diner packed with people and usually a wait however did not have to wait long as there is always a steady flow of customers coming in and out. Ordered the Patty melt which was so yummy! Definitely the best bang for your buck breakfast /lunch spot if you don’t mind a casual diner style restaurant crawling with people. I’m from Jersey, land of mom and pop diners, so this place reminds me of home.

This ‘hole in the wall’ diner is a local favorite, which means you better come early or wait til later to avoid the wait. The food is good– the country fried steak was my favorite– and the service is pretty fast. There is definitely a sort of organized chaos on the weekends, which is why getting there early is a good idea. There is virtually no waiting room, and it’s pretty cramped at the front. One annoying thing I did notice is that you are still supposed to wait in line for counter seating. Yet one of the employees allowed a guy who came in after us to take up a seat at the counter even though we had asked if we could go ahead and sit. Be consistent about your rules people! We had the country fried steak skillet which is perfect for the lazy patron– the steak is already cut into bite size chunks and smothered in spicy sausage gravy over hash browns so you don’t have to lift your knife. It comes topped with eggs and a side pancake or biscuit or toast. All for about $ 7. We also had the Bayshore special which was basically an open faced bacon and eggs sandwich with hollandaise and hash browns.

This is exactly the place you want to come for home cooked, simple, yet delicious food. Busy & great service, Pach’s is an ideal diner to frequent and put in your regular rotation. Unpretentious, large portions, fresh food, and independently owned… alll elements of a satisfying experience.

When dealing with that early morning Saturday hunger that strikes, Pach’s Place is sure to satisfy. Although being introduced to this little South Tampa gem more than a year ago, I haven’t been frequently visiting until recently. Everything is excellent – service is very attentive and the food is consistently stellar and the portions are generous. Laura is a great server and is sure to put a smile on your face. My «go-to» breakfast is the turkey and vegetable omelette with home fries. Delicious! Everything I’ve seen served here is delectable and comes out in a timely fashion as soon as it’s cooked. You won’t have to wait long here to devour your food. It gets busy on weekends so if you arrive after 9am expect a little bit of a wait, as the servers and the food comes out quick people are always in and out. The counter provides seating for parties of two or individual diners. Give Pach’s a try, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
