Have done the soap making in the past and it is often hard to get appointments unless booking weeks in advance, which is often hard to do when someone works and has a family. Tried to book another appointment today and was told there were no openings for the next week so basically I can’t use the groupon that I purchased that expires on 11⁄15. I was not happy with this and found the person I spoke with to be rude. I will not be doing any more soap making nor will I recommend to my friends based on the limited appointments they offer and their consistent rudeness despite me having been a good customer in the past. Even when I had them do a custom soap order for me about a year ago(which was not cheap), I found the girl I dealt with to be condescending and rude.

I love the glycerin soaps at Milagros! The store carries about 50 different fabulous scented soaps that are displayed throughout the store. The scents range from sweet to fruity to musky… there is a scent for everyone! They have this vanilla bean one that smells like cookies. I always feel guilty using the soaps because they are so pretty I don’t want them to melt. The soap is on the pricey side, but they make really nice gifts. I know I am always thrilled when my husband gifts me bath products from Milagros. I used to shop at their location on South Howard all the time and then they moved to Hyde Park — even better! Now I can park in the free parking garage instead of trying to find a parking spot in the formerly limited parking lot.

What a gem! The shop is beautiful and rustic, definitely a workshop with South Tampa flare. And the soaps… well, they’re one of a kind. With my sensitive skin, I have to be extremely picky about what products I use on my face and my skin loves their loaves of soap! The texture, ingredients, essential oils and fragrances are what keep me coming back. At 8 $ a pop, they’re not cheap but I can’t live without the Dead Sea soap and Immaculate Conception for my face and I love the variety of designs for the other glycerin soaps(neat gifts!) Reading the other reviews who had issue with the owner, I’ve never shared their experiences. I’ve had great, genuinely nice and attentive service. can’t wait to try their other products

A friend of mine & I went in for a Groupon soapmaking class about 2 months ago. We had a blast! Typical for us, it took forever to decide among all of the wonderful scents, but the staff was very patient. It was great fun to choose colors, make shapes and put our soap together. I felt so arty-craftsy! And the margaritas were a nice touch. The only warning is that the black soap base bleeds a bit – so it gave my friend’s elegant design a more mysterious look, but my kitchy soap collage turned out beautifully. We had great fun and I’d recommend this soap making experience. I’m planning to set up time for my nieces and in-laws to do this on their next visit. A great momento of Tampa!

Pricey but worth it! We are now bona-fide soap snobs.

I also had a problem using my Groupon for a soap making class. I tried two times to use my Groupon, but I found the owner to be very rude and not helpful.

The owner, Theresa, treated us horribly. We went in to use a groupon. She was completely unprofessional and very rude. She acted too busy to be bothered and barely looked up from what she was doing when we asked her a question. She was totally nasty and treated us like scum. I wish there was something more I could do to file a complaint because I am really upset about this. I have been a customer for years, but now I won’t be returning. If her business fails, it will be because she treats people horribly. I hope she reads this and realizes that you can’t be a dump truck and be nasty to people just because you feel like it. Something is really wrong with customer service these days, it is like people think they are doing US a favor by us buying from them. Ridiculous.
