No stars. Very rude and nasty guy. If you want to be insulted give him a call. One of the reviews on Unilocal has a photo of the owner. You guess which one. Maybe I called him on a bad day but I will not make that mistake again.

Terrible service, incredibly sketchy. Needed a key fob programmed for my bmw, guy tells me that I must purchase the fob from him because «it’s good for business» if he makes me buy the fob from him. Ok sure. Guy quotes me $ 230 for fob and programming but says he needs to do a little research how to program it. Says he well call me back the next day. 3 days go by with no call back so I decide to call him. Guy says he can do it and asks what he quoted me, I tell him $ 230, then he says it will now be $ 300 because of this and that. Very unprofessional.

Locksmith’s in Tampa are shady. Usually there’s a bunch of locksmith’s listed on Unilocal,yellowpages etc. etc. that work out of the back of their car and they all go through one national dispatch service. I called A-1 Lockesmiths and two guys in a beat up VW showed up at my house. They didn’t have a copy of their license, bond, and gave me a card with no name and a phone number that went strait to voice mail. The two guys were «subcontractors» and their boss wouldn’t get on the phone or provide a business license or bond number. They tried to up-sell me from the second they stepped out of the car. Thanks but no thanks. Finally, I called The Lock Geeks. They showed up in 20 minutes and had my door open in 5 minutes. They’re independent and have a shop in Tampa. They don’t go through the dispatch service. Only go through these guys
