Tried them yesterday and the food is very good. For one price, you walk down the buffet counter, telling the staff what you want. Choose anything you want to eat. No return trips to the buffet, so you select all you want on the first walk thru. Large selection to choose from. Very good price too.

Excellent food, large portions and reasonably priced. This cafeteria style Spanish restaurant really hit the mark for those that are hungry going in! Most meals are enough for two. Nice staff, good service.

$ 19.87 wasted. The chicken was undercooked when I pulled it apart. I told the waitress. She brought out more chicken that was still undercooked even when I showed her how reddish pink the chicken was on the inside. The black beans were missing the garlic, onions, oregano, green pepper and salt. I mean really no flavor at all. The rice was clumpy and the fried pork was not crispy. You’re just biting into grease blocks running down your face. I was totally disgusted and was tired of the manager giving me the snake eye instead of fixing the problem with my entrée. If the manager had common sense he would say«ma’am I understand there was a problem order is there something else you’d like?» But nooooooo all I got was the snake eye instead. I really could have stayed home and cooked my fav Cuban dishes myself I just wanted a break. Ugh! Don’t expect anything classy or authentic Latin food here. This is my 3rd visit. Nope not 3x a charm.

I was in town on business and wanted some good Cuban food. I saw the reviews for Liborios on Unilocal and decided to try it out. This place is a gem. For the non adventurous you would pass this by but make sure that you stop. This place is worth it. Had the roasted pork, black beans /rice and plantains. The amount of food that you get is incredible. Go see them often…

Café style latín food that will make your friend’s taste buds jealous. Everything tastes great and the prices can’t be beat. Great lunch spot. If you come here during weekday lunch hour, be prepared to stand in line for a few minutes but the wait will be short. They do a good job of keeping the line moving. My go to meal here is the small pressed cuban sandwhich. Don’t be fooled by the word«small» because even by American standards this cuban is not small. The large cuban is only 25% longer. Quick note, the chicken sandwhich isn’t the best, just stick with the cuban if you want a sandwhich. They also have argueably the best devil crab stuffed potatoes in the area. Their sweet plantains are good as well as just about anything else you choose to order. Whatever you choose to eat here, you won’t be dispppointed. I also heard a rumor that they make hand squeezed sugar cane juice. This restaurant was a good find and I will be back many times in the future.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. I have been here countless times. Shame on me! Liborios is off Causeway, between Palm River and Brandon. Liborios offers authentic Latin food at fair prices. When you walk in, you will notice all of the entrée food on the line a la carte. There is rice, corn, mashed potatoes, green beans, shredded beef, shredded pork, baked chicken, fish and the list goes on and on there is a slew of appetizing dishes to choose from. I usually get baked chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans and Cuban bread all for $ 5.50. However, I have had their shredded beef and shredded pork and both are fantastico! Their Cuban sandwich is pretty good, but I have had better. Overall quality and service is great. I’m sure I’ll be back really soon. Ohhh don’t forget to try their potato balls… mmmmm! Get there early because they get crowded pretty quick.

The food is good but not great. The roasted pork didn’t have as much flavor as the pork I’ve had at other places but still good. The plantains weren’t as soft/sweet as I like but tasty enough. The guarapo was fine but not as refreshing as another Cuban place down the street. But the prices are very good, the portions are huge and the ladies working there are nice. I would go back occasionally if I’m in the area.

They have on of the best cuban’s near the Brandon area! Their bread is always fresh and their business is very clean. I typically call ahead when I visit but their line moves pretty quick. Also, they have a good selection of Latin food. Who doesn’t love yellow rice

We stopped coming to because we felt food quality had went down. Tough Palomia sandwich, tea tastes like sewer, and dry pork. We have it another shot months later and we felt that they were back on the right track. Palomia sandwich was tender and eatable. Tea tastes like ice tea. The fries were upgraded and delicious. Definitely will come back sooner than later. Keep up the progress! Easy quick place for lunch!

This cafeteria style café has some delicious food! This review is based on food, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and value. I’ve been here a few times now. Their Medianoche is loaded down and very delicious! During lunch, the line is out the door, so get there early, grab a tray, and proceed through the line. There is a wonderful assortment of prepared items, or ordering off the menu is another option. The parking lot gets crammed at lunch. It’s mostly gravel, loaded with potholes, and the only real downer I’ve encountered so far(which isn’t a big deal). The line can get long, but they move customers through very efficiently. They have a good team of employees working fast, taking orders, and making food. The service has always been fast and friendly in my experience. There’s lots of seating, but during the lunch rush it can fill up. The noise level is on the high side, just because it’s so busy, but not so loud you can’t have a conversation. The place is kept fairly clean, considering the age and condition of the building. They do good about keeping tables cleared, despite the high pace. The atmosphere is about as casual as it gets. It’s comfortable, and has a nice flow to it. For the quality, flavor, and portion of food, I can’t complain about the value. The menu is priced for repeat business, in my opinion. Overall, it’s great food, quick & friendly service, and it doesn’t break the bank. I’m a big fan!

Wow, starting 2016 off on a positive note! Delicious Latin food at a great price. I tried Liborios for lunch yesterday after a recommendation from a coworker and I’ll be back often! I tried the roasted pork with sides of black beans and rice($ 6.50). The rice had some of the pork juice on it and it was so delicious. The portions were HUGE and I actually just ate the rest for lunch today. There’s always a long line but it moves fast, and the employees are so friendly. My friend also let me try her fried plantains and plantain chips with garlic oil. Both were amazing. Both our meals came with sides of Cuban bread as well. Check it out!

Everyone at my job has been raving about this place and I only recently went here for the first time. Needless to say, I was hooked after the first visit. They have main course selections that are the same every day and then ones that change. The first time I went, I ordered Roasted Pork(Lechon Asado) with garbanzo beans and yellow rice. It’s a delicious combination but my favorite days are when they serve Ropa Vieja, which literally means«Old clothes,» because the slow cooked beef just falls apart in your mouth. Their food is great, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very low-key as well and the prices are unbeatable. If you want a delicious home cooked tasting lunch, definitely go here!

So I know in this area and my job is for most of this restaurant and I already found a place that I truly love but I don’t want to seem like a stocker going every day so I decide to try something new and I find this place and it has four stars so I think let me keep it a chance come in get excited because they have chickpeas and I love chickpeas so I get their lunch special that is seven dollars and I get white rice cheapies and ground beef when I get to the register I pay I sit and I try my food a few times and each time it taste like metal so I go back to the register and tell the lady that it doesn’t taste good and she opened the container makes this smart Alec face and says OK whatever I’ll give you another plate I said I don’t want another plate and she says that she cannot reimburse me because I already ate half of it so apparently have upped her plate is three small bites and she says that I need to get something so I tell her OK just give me one of the stuff potatoes that is like two dollars so I still have five more dollars but she said no that I already ate half of it so I said OK give me something else so she gives me pastry and apparently a stuffed potato and a pastry cost seven dollars so I won’t be going back for sure. PS the stuff potato on the pastry are OK they’re not bad but they’re not the best that I have eaten

Great place for lunch. I always get the small plate and water for under $ 6 and am full and happy afterwards. Between 11:30 and 1 pm the place is packed but they move the line pretty good. Don’t get the devil crab, when they are cheap it means they are fake.

I was on a business trip in the area, and the company I was visiting brought me here for lunch. I am so glad they did! The food here was amazing and I really can’t wait to go back to try the breakfast, which I here is killer! From the outside it doesn’t look that appealing, but once you get past that you will be in delicious Latin food heaven! I opted for the lunch special where you pick your rice, beans, side, and meat. I had white rice, red beans, sweet plantains, and chicken breast. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. They cook everything daily and that shows. I haven’t had plantains very much, but these ones were so delicious! I am not sure what they cooked them in but they had a sweet, caramel type coating on them. Really recommend trying them!

So I’m running about in the Riverview/SE Tampa area around lunch time, and I’m hungry. What’s a fellow to do? Pull out the trusty Unilocal app on my phone! Liborios was an absolute find! Bring your appetite and a little bit of money and you will surely walk out well fed and happy! It’s a no frills kind of place with really good food and really great prices! I had the Roast Pork Combo($ 6.50) and could not believe my eyes. I literally had to box half the meal and take it home. $ 6.50! The pork was moist and tender. The black beans were seasoned well. It was fabulous! The only thing that kept it from perfection was the availability of lime(not lemon) wedges. One of my friends had a Cuban Sandwich and Soup Combo. The soup was homemade, and looked fantastic. The sandwich looked pretty darned good as well. I can’t imagine a better value proposition anywhere in that part of town. An absolute gem!

Café style. I have the take out all the time. This place have all kind Spanish food from fried whole fish to teriyaki chicken. They gave selection of small or big plate. Range from $ 4 to $ 6.50. They also have devil crab, chicken or ground beef empanadas, stuff potato. They also have freshly make Cuban sandwich. Compare to fast food change, cafeteria style is a better option. I always come here for for the guarapole(sugar cane juice). They prepare the fresh squeeze on the site. It is good. Please be aware the lunch crowd build up after 11:30 am. Please come early. If you come after 11:30 am, the line is already to the door.
