This is an indoor mall of shop stalls and food vendors. The place is not in good shape, it’s best not to look up at the ceiling, but there are some very cool fashion, music, and food shops offerering some exotic, unusual and colorful fare. Int’l Market is on the corner of Nebraska and Fowler. There’s a Haitian food vendor, a vegan Jamaican food vendor, a piragua/snow cone/raspado/granizado vendor, and you can pick up some super sexy nighttime wear, a gold grill for your teeth, or some tropical plants. There’s a guy selling salsa, merengue and other Latin music CDs. There is a jewellry and sandal vendor. And there is Spanish food. So whether you are after oxtail soup, sexy clothes for the bedroom, or vegetarian Jamaican patties: this is your place!!! I love unusual and adventurous places I can explore, so this is my kind of spot. It’s a little seedy and rundown for sure, but fun to explore and makes you feel like you are in another country entirely,. No one would even venture inside with me to check it out with me. They are missing out. This is a secret Tampa space like no other and it’s well worth seeing at least once. The business name is sometimes listed as International Marketplace or International Marketplace Flea Market. They have a Facebook page, but the profile pic is the address and is missing a 1 at the beginning, so that’s not a good sign. www.facebook.com/pages/International-Market-Place/331759303627925?sk=info
