First Watch

Food here is OKAY. I had the avocado toast, it was great. Well seasoned. Small portion. My husband had an omelette, it was okay. Not great not horrible. My son ordered the French toast which was ONE slice of bread with 2 pieces of bacon.
We also ordered a kale juice, it was very good (prob the best part of the meal).
The coffee tastes very good. It even drinkable without sugar or cream.
My complaints– the waitress was awful, I had to walk to the kitchen to ask for syrup, napkins and our check.
The nice thing about her– she brought me samples of he juices to see which I wanted to order.
we probably won’t be back considering it was really damn expensive and the portions were too small. An hour later, we were hungry again and went to Four Rivers for a real meal!

Nice place had the 2 for 7.99 club sandwich and a Cobb salad it was a little busy but the service was good and the price was good also got a kale tonic juice it was delicious! Nice place and seems to be pretty good food. In and out in about 25 min that’s the speed for lunch.

Love this place! We have been first watch customers over the years but dropped off a couple years ago. We decided to give it a retry recently. We have been here a few time in the last couple months. The food and service are both fabulous. I am picky and have a couple special requests with my eggs and they are kind enough to oblige. The new menu and look are great as well. I went grain free almost 3 years ago, but I will eat a piece of their multi grain toast every Sunday with breakfast — irresistible! Best breakfast spot in Tampa — consistent, great menu, and super service.

First Watch is great! The Parma Hash is delicious. Everything is always fresh and we always have a great time.

There are so many reasons to love this place, I’m not sure where to begin. The service is excellent. Before I ask, I pretty much have it.
The place has a pleasant ambiance. It feels like home, sometimes it can be loud but I like that I can be comfortable talking to my family and no one is listening.
Now the one of the top reasons I frequent this restaurant is the fresh food. I never feel over stuffed or sick because of the food. It’s always perfect!

In town visiting a friend who suggested we eat here. A beautiful Friday morn. Al fresco tables were all full we decided to eat inside and were seated immediately.
A really good breakfast place. The menu is quite expansive and it was difficult to decide. I got a classic sandwich which was excellent. My friends ordered traditional egg breakfasts. All were great.
Felicia our server was very good and attentive. Timing and spacing were perfect. Plenty of coffee.
Ambience is a moderately high end typical Tampa breakfast venue. When we left, the line to be seated was out the door. Obviously the locals enjoy the place always a good sign.
Price was average for value.
I would definitely return.

I absolutely love this place. Very relaxing atmosphere and the food is nothing less than delicious. Our server was extremely patient and made great recommendations for our meals. This place is a go to for a guaranteed good meal and service. The only thing that seems to be lacking is space. It gets so busy I think they should maybe add on an extra dining space! Lol

After leaving the mechanic this morning breakfast was needed. Love the setup its like hip meets farm my kind of style. No waiting, was seated fast and every one was very polite and didn’t have to look for our waitress. Of course my power drink was definitely needed [Coffee] and my wife had some kind of kale drink. For our breakfast entrées the Mrs had a avocado omelette, our little guy had half a waffle with fruit and I eggs benedict with salmon. Can you say yuuummmmmmy!!! Eggs were just right, my wife’s food was amazing and she is usually a hard person to please. Our little guy as always a happy belly. We may have another breakfast venue to go to when I’m not cooking at home. Looks like I’ll be giving myself a few mornings off.

Had a great brunch here last weekend! I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, and was super impressed by the fluffiness of the pancakes with the occasional creamy bite of ricotta. They were served with lemon curd and strawberries, which complemented the flavors perfectly! I also got their Kale Tonic juice that was very good as well. Prices are very reasonable considering how fresh all the ingredients are.

Nice service, nice food. Only 4 stars because nothing about it stood out and made me want to make this a «regular» place for us. But, if I’m ever in need of a quick, healthy brunch and a First Watch is close, I would go again.

Always a great place to eat breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Have been going to here for years. Servers make this not a ⁵⁄₅. I’m lactose intolerant and every time I go there I ask for no cheese or dairy and the past 3 times I have gone I’m picking cheese off my meal. It’s already tough for me to keep a normal meal choice without having to worry if they remember not to put cheese on my meal. The French toast is awesome and the turkey sandwich is super good minus the cheese.

For what it is, it is very good. It’s a very hip, clean, natural food type of place. The food is high end, high quality.
Like, Organic options, raw foods, etc.
Also, even though this should be clear it is breakfast food.

First review of 2016! Came here for brunch and it was busy but not too busy. I liked how they took your number and text you when your table is ready. The menu was great they offered many options for breakfast and a healthier side. I was not being healthy today so I got the banana granola pancakes with a side of egg. I think it is weird that they don’t have prices next to some of their drinks on the menu. I liked how their food is from local fresh organic resources. Another great addition was that you can switch out your regular eggs for egg whites at no additional charge. That is good because usually their is an up charge for that. This place is good but I have had better places that offer a similar menu. I think I will need to try other things before I give it a 5 but the pancakes were definitely good. They were multigrain and had the banana and granola cooked into the pancake instead of on top. I prefer that. I don’t think their pancakes are as huge as they say they are on the menu. They are not as big as kekes so if your order three and are hungry you should be able to finish them. The kale tonic caught my interest but I didn’t order it I’ll save it for a non cheat day ;-)

Really comfortable atmosphere. I love the milk bottle water jugs they leave at the table. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes! So good! It had fresh strawberries and lemon custard on top so the sweet and the tangy blended perfectly! I also had hot tea. What I really liked about the way they serve their tea is that you get not only a caddy of different teas to choose from but also your own pot of hot water. It’s a stupid thing to latch on to but I can’t tell you how much I hate having to wait for the waiter to notice I’m out of tea. It’s easy to do with tea drinkers I’ve noticed. ALSO, our server Kara (not carol… That’s your aunt) made sure I had a cup of fresh hot water so I could take my tea to go! Seriously, you cater to my tea obsession and you’ll have my love forever.
My friend had the carrot cake pancakes which was pretty good. I like that they switch up the basics. It’s different and fun. The place had a nice level of noise. You can hear the low buzz of conversation but it doesn’t drown out the music which is set at the right volume (loud enough to hear but not so loud as to be distracting). Altogether a nice experience.

After hearing all the hype, I decided to try this place. I am not disappointed. I really like the ambience of the place. We were seated immediately. Our server was Kara. She was friendly and nice to talk to. The service was very quick getting the food to us. I loved that since I was absolutely a starvin Marvin. I had the carrot cake pancakes and two sausage links with hot tea. It was wonderful! My friend had lemon ricotta pancakes. I stole a bite. Heavenly. The sausage links were the best I’ve ever had. I will be back!

This place is sooooo good. We’ve been coming here forever, everything is just delicious. I don’t think there’s a better breakfast in Tampa. Big portions, reasonable prices, fast service, everything is delicious. What more could you want??? Oh, there’s a wait sometimes, but it’s worth the wait!

It’s First Watch. I go to them all the time and like any good chain, the service and food never waiver! LOVE THIS PLACE. Can get pretty crowded with the brunch crowd, but that is because it is so good. Their amazing efficiency will get the wait moving quickly. Never had to wait more than 30 minutes (totally worth it).

I’ve always loved the first watch chain, but my biggest gripe is that there is always a wait on weekend mornings. Now I have an app for that and so glad First Watch participates. Before my app I only had the patience to come here twice a year. Since I’ve been back I noticed tons of changes. This location was revamped and instead of the clean and pristine l look it now has an old farmhouse décor. This works well, but I had no issues with the old atmosphere where you can see right back into the kitchen.
The changes to the menu include the Fresh Juice Bar which I absolutely love! I’ve stopped into First Watch just to get a Kale Tonic to go! The lemon ricotta pancakes are so light yummy. The elevated egg sandwich is pretty good, but I subbed the bacon for salmon. I can’t wait to try more of the new menu… especially now that I don’t have to wait!

Soooo gooooood! I’ve been to First Watch probably 2 or 3 times and each time I’ve been I have not been disappointed. It can get busy here, so don’t be surprised if there’s a wait. This past time I ordered the fresh squeezed oj and the trifecta breakfast with a banana granola multigrain pancake and it was delicious! Our server was super friendly and attentive to our table.
