Wonderful place with delicious and healthy choices for a great dining experience. 1st time here — and received a «complimentary» 1st Timers tiramisu. Also noticed the guy next to us flashed his military I.D. So I asked our server about it. She said the give 10% military discount!!! Awesome!

I went to Ciccio Water with my family while visiting my sister. She is a regular here and wanted us to try the amazing food! It truly was amazing! I ordered the Hot & Crunchy bowl, which is like a spicy tuna roll in a bowl with all of these extra«fix-ins.» It was just the right amount of spicy… which I’m super picky about because I love spicy. The serving size was perfect. My husband ordered a pizza and it too was very delicious and perfectly sized. Everyone ordered Slamgrias too! Yum! The restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was kid/family friendly. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Our server was attentive, friendly, and prompt. We even got free dessert for being new customers! I will definitely be returning next time I am visiting Tampa!

Ciccio Water is located off Howard in South Tampa 2 restaurants down from the Green Lemon and offers a great alternative to Green Lemon’s Taco Tuesday if you happen to catch them when they are too busy. On Tuesday’s Ciccio Water serves awesome $ 2 Cali Flats which are essentially open faced tacos, $ 2 sangrias, and beers! One of my favorite drinks here is a slamgria which is a large glass of sangria with mini bottle of wine or champagne upside down in it that give a cool unique look to the drink. Ciccio Water offers a large selection of unique specialty sushi rolls and has some great stir frys which I think are way better than their rice bowls because all the ingredients are fully cooked. The rice bowls have some raw vegetables thrown in there and are much like the rice bowls at nature’s table down the street at Hyde Park. Ciccio Waters’ Red hot Thai chicken Stir fry is delicious with the Thai red curry paste and authentic tasting while offering a nice spice and is one of my favorite dishes. While the stir fry’s taste pretty good they skimp on additional ingredients other than sauce, chicken, onions, and rice. Normally I’d expect a traditional Thai stir fry to include Thai noodles, nuts, carrots, and other vegetables. For sushi, I’ve had their Volcano, Dino and Jimmy, and Cherokee rolls and they were all pretty good. Ciccio water is also great for brunch on the weekend with their $ 12 bottomless mimosa special 11AM-3PM. The only catch is, the bottomless mimosas are only while you are eating so eat slow lol. Ciccio Water has a private parking lot onsite with ample parking and optional valet which is refreshing for soho. The décor is modern with blue led lighting outside and blue and pink led lighting inside. My only gripe is that the inside of the place is too open with no sound barriers and it can get very loud if you are at a middle table with whiny high pitched Soho girls all around you. Every other Monday at 630PM, Ciccios has bikes and brews! This place is usually less busy than Green Lemon but can also have some long wait times. I recommend calling ahead to get reservations at least 1 hour ahead of time. Otherwise, you can always sit at the bar first come first served! Service has always been quick and friendly. Will be back again. Thanks! :)

Sometimes you get that hangry feeling and are wanting to go somewhere else to eat but drive passed a place and decide to settle. That happened to me last night and I went into Ciccio in a bad mood, I begrudgingly chose the Hot and Crunchy Tuna bowl with brown rice. I waited for my food and was expecting to be disappointed. Then my food came, from the first bite it was pure love. After I finished I wanted more. Unfortunately my flight home to Seattle was the next day, and I had a training class all day. With an hour lunch break I quickly did the math and I could barely make it back to Ciccio and back to my training in the break if I got take out. I totally ate the same thing for dinner and the next day for lunch. This food was THAT good! It says a lot when you sit down to a meal in a bad mood, to completely blow away my expectations like that. I will be back next time Ciccio! I you!

Finally went here for the first time this past weekend and ended up sitting during brunch. The restaurant was pleasantly decorated for Halloween(spider webs hung up on the walls and booths, but nothing in the way or obnoxious), and the restaurant was fairly busy, but we were still able to get a table right away, and parking wasn’t a problem even though the parking lot is small. The space(without the Halloween decorations) is medium sized and decorated well for a restaurant with a California theme. Blue colors, natural wood tones, and simple paintings all create a comfortable but nice feeling as you eat. Because we were there for brunch(I’m assuming this is the reason), there was live music, which can be great, but was definitely a little loud in this restaurant. A few times we had trouble communicating with our waitress and we had to speak up to be heard while talking to each other. I can’t say anything about the regular menu but the Brunch menu was surprisingly varied. There were plenty of breakfast options(one member of our party got a plate with eggs, bacon, and pancakes) and plenty of lunch options as well as sushi. I got one of the wraps while my partner got one of the bowls, and we got garlic edamame to start. All of the food was delicious. Or, at least, my food was delicious. No one else would let me try any of theirs, so I’m guessing it was pretty good too. However, both my wrap and my partner’s bowl seemed a little small, while our friend’s breakfast plate was a very hearty looking meal. I don’t know about the rest of their offerings, but that definitely made me feel like our meals were overpriced compared to his. The service was good, but not great. No real negative comments here, it just wasn’t anything special. So in review: their brunch(at least) is very good, but maybe order breakfast instead of lunch for economy’s sake, and do your best to sit away from the live music or you won’t be able to hear each other speak.

Re-review! I came back to Ciccio for brunch this past weekend and had an amazing experience! First of all, they have begun offering bottomless mimosas for $ 12. Our waitress frequently refilled our mimosas and even provided us with a round of shots when they ran out of orange juice. The food was on point, just as always, and we had a great experience. I need to come to Ciccio for dinner sometime as it is becoming one of my favorite spots! Definitely glad to have had a much better experience than last time!

Happy Birthday, Anna. Yep, this was an Unofficial Unilocal Event — a UYE, and a whole bunch of us showed up to celebrate one of the most loquacious of us all. I don’t live in South Tampa, so I’d never heard of Ciccio’s, I’m not familiar with the name, but once I walked in I was hooked. The atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. The live musician was pretty awesome too! He could really play and sounded like anyone he was covering. Since we were doing a private party, we were in the private party space, The room was large, with enough table seating for 25 – 30 people. Though loud, it wasn’t terribly obnoxious. And since it was Sunday, there was the added perk of Happy Hour all day! Score! Now lets talk about the food. Brunch on Sunday was pretty Amazing. They are apparently known for their sushi, but I don’t play that game. After a careful perusal of their menu, I opted for their Gyro California wrap. Made with lamb, feta, humus and other tasty ingredients it was served in a flour tortilla vs a pita, which was thin and crispy. And the taste combined was so good! The others at the table opted for breakfast items. And WOW. let me tell you that If/when I come back, I will order the chocolate chip pancakes. They were AMAZINGLY delicious! Topped with strawberries and served with a side of perfectly wonderfully seasoned home fries. Another person at the table ordered a bowl — With Basil scrambeled eggs and ricotta cheese. I’d never thought of combining those tastes, but now I’m a fan. This place is a winner in my books.
