I love burger 21! I usually get the black and bleu, but they are all good. Great service at this location. My husband loves the bacon bbq. I have not had a bad burger meal here yet… Lol!

Worst ever!!! Floors were sticky(I told manager who did nothing), burgers were raw(ordered med. well). Manager never apologized, we waited 15 min. for new burgers and they came back well done(nearly burnt) and so salty it was really awful. Then we had to hunt someone down for fries we ordered and didn’t get. I would have walked out but we were starving by then so we ate them with lots of soda that came from a drink station that was a dirty, sticky mess. Lots of staff standing around but not tending to anything that seemed to matter. This may be the worst restaurant in the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area. Dirty, terrible service, bad food, 3 strikes and they are out. BTW the hand washing station which I thought was an awesome idea didn’t have any soap in it. Nice idea but one more failure.

Good food and good service! There are even little dog bowls/treats outside for the furry friends. I think my fiancé is tired of me asking to eat here multiple times a week, but the cheese and ale sauce is worth it!

Love this place. Homeade chicken tenders are the best. And the sauces are delicious. Definitely fast food but if you want a good burger or fries check it out.

Ok, so I’ve been here before about a year ago. Loved it, but trying to eat healthy. I had a real bad craving for a juicy burger and thought of Burger 21. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint me. I absolutely love the Tex Mex burger. It was just so satisfying! You know when you’re craving something, and you give into it and it’s just so perfect and everything you imagined it would be. That’s this burger. 5 stars.

Great burger joint. It’s pricey for a reason innit. I had the bacon cheese burger with some great fries and a vanilla shake. U can tell from the picture I dived straight into my burger before I remembered to take the picture. If u looking for some low key good burger in the Bay Area, look no further head straight to Burger21

We have been to this location and many other Burger 21s before. This one in particular I have had problems with. First of all the have kind of slow service and sometimes they will bring out burgers that were supposed to be well done but weren’t cooked all the way through. The reason I gave them a three star rating was because when they do bring out the food it is good! Thanks for reading!

Very greasy burger, but they do have real cheddar cheese, so that’s a plus. Below par fries. Nice tasty variety of sauces, like cajun or creamy cilantro. Shakes were good also.

I love the burgers, fries, salads, and milkshakes here. I recommend the spicy Thai shrimp burger with a cheese and ale basket and malted milk ball shake. I’ve only ever had one mistake made to my order when they forgot to put bacon in my Cobb salad. Overall it’s a great experience dining in or taking out.

Never going back! Got 2 out of 4 orders right, those two were enjoyed, but two of our burgers were severely undercooked, our orders were missing fries, pickles, and the lettuce was wilted and stale. When spending 44 $ on a family of 4, I have higher expectations for a crafted burger. Drive a mile north and go to burger monger.

Delicious food and a clean restaurant. My husband and I have tried everything from the black bean burger to their burgers of the month and they are all delicious! The sweet potato fries are good too. We will definitely be back to try more of their burgers.

I had the tuna burger with sweet potato fries. It was okay but nothing to write home about. The sauces were not special for the fries. I have had way better gourmet burgers and fries elsewhere.

Great service, friendly staff, and delicious food! I will definitely be returning to enjoy another delicious veggie burger(Greek). So yummy and filling. The fries were from heaven, I’m convinced! Parking was a little hectic around 7pm

Wow I wish they would do half stars! This place is a solid 3.5 stars. Not as good as Square One, but about as good as 5 guys. My party had the BBQ bacon and the bacon cheesy. The bacon was nice and thick, the burger juicy, and the bun fresh and warm. I liked the sauce bar as well. Great burger but nothing really blew me away. I didn’t feel cheated for the money but a better value would have helped. If you can’t decide where to go and there is one near by then I say go for it… I wouldn’t drive too far out of the way though.

Great selection of burgers. Veggie Greek burger held its burger shape and tasted great. The black bean is a little on the salty side. My shroom burger was slightly undercooked, so request well done if you don’t like pink mushy middles. The sweet potato shoestring fries were crispy and delicious. We split a basket amongst a group of six. Burger portions are small enough to order a side, dessert, or milkshake, and not fill up.

Late last night I was flipping through Netflix looking for something to watch. I tried an episode of this… boring. I tried an episode of this… eh, not my cup of tea. I tried an episode of that third show… visually stunning, the storyline is weak. Burger 21 is like the restaurant version of looking for something to watch on Netflix. To be fair, I must start by admitting that I find most burger joints to be uncreative and dull. Even if they go to the extra effort to make a creative burger menu, their vegetarian versions are generally just a black bean burger slapped on a bun. Years ago, during my first visit to a Burger 21 restaurant, I thought they were different. I remember being floored by two things in particular. One was the variety of different flavored ketchups. These range from toasted marshmallow to cajun to thai(just to name a few). Any place that takes the time to experiment with condiments was a-okay in my book. That’s a level of caring a lot of burger joints never reach. The other thing that stuck out was their vast array of milk shake flavors. Some of my favorites were the strawberry short cake, key lime pie and the chocolate malted milk ball. Again, not your standard chocolate, vanilla and strawberry routine. Since that initial visit, I’ve gone to a dairy free diet. That means the milk shakes are no longer a defining marker. With some family in town looking for burgers and a new location right down the street from my apartment it was time to give Burger 21 another go of it. I wanted to see if taking the milkshakes out of the equation, makes Burger 21 any less«floored» worthy. Burger 21 offers two vegetarian burgers. The first is a Black Bean version that features a black bean patty on a toasted whole wheat bun that is topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, salsa, fresh avocado, sun-dried tomato aïoli and cilantro cream. The other option is a Greek Burger which consists of a veggie burger topped with lettuce, tomato, roasted red peppers, feta spread, pickled cucumbers on a toasted whole wheat bun. I opted for the Black Bean version sans the cilantro cream(which I declined for two reasons: cilantro and cream) fearing that removing the feta spread from the Greek version would greatly alter the taste. The burger that was delivered to me was the same black bean burger you can get at most restaurants. It is one that I regularly pick up in my grocer’s freezer. I could name the exact brand and style of burger, that’s how typical it looked. One thing I liked about the Burger 21 version was, despite offering a typical burger, the restaurant actually got a bit creative and added avocado as a topping. Most black bean burgers I’ve eaten out are not topped with avocado. To me, avocado and black beans seem like a natural fit. Other than that, not much stood out about the burger. It was pretty much something I could put together quickly in my own kitchen. My burger came with a side of fries. The fries were the super skinny shoestring ones. Huge disappointment. I am not a big fan of those. I prefer much thicker, seasoned fries. My overall impression of Burger 21 is that it is fine. It is ok. But just like with those late night Netflix sessions, are you looking for something that is okay or do you want something memorable that will continue to «floor» you over and over? Burger 21 is the former. Go elsewhere if you seek the latter.

A really cool little burger joint. On the first visit, we were there awhile because we had to examine the menu and then once we sat down we had to try every dipping sauce from the sauce bar. They have unique sauces for burgers or fries including everything from«Cajun» to «toasted marshmallow». They also have regular fries or sweet potato. I only wish they had a little bigger dinning room, and more staff because they tend to run slow and not have any clean tables available. If you haven’t been, it is worth a try and I recommend dinning in on your first visit so that you can make multiple trips to the sauce bar until you figure out the combination that makes you smile.

Love coming in for a quick bite and it doesn’t get any better than my go to meal which is Bacon Cheesy sliders and Crème Brûlée milkshake and I always ask for it medium well since medium is just a bit too juicy/messy for me. Yet to have a bad burger here! The friendly staff and an always clean dining area are a plus as well.

It has been a while since we were here, & the last time we were here, my hubby, mom, & I did not care for it. I said let’s try it again. The server was super helpful suggesting for me to try something after I let him know what I was thinking of. I am always wanting to modify my whole order, & he was ok with that. I ordered the ‘shroom burger for my hubby this time, and the black bean burger substituting the black bean burger for a regular beef burger with the same fixings. We didn’t order fries. We don’t like the thin ones that they have. Both burgers were boring. The most taste they had were just a whole bunch of salt. They were dry as well. Water was the best part of my meal bc I had to rehydrate from the dry and salty taste. Maybe they think all their sauces will make it all better. If that’s the case, then just order the sauces then because that’s all you will taste. I tried to give them another chance. They got one too because they are dog friendly. Nope didn’t work for us. Sadly enough, we are done.

My work colleagues and I have dined at Burger 21 several times due to being in the area for a meeting. Burgers are not a food I crave. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The burgers were just ok to me, but my co-workers seemed to enjoy their meal. Nothing wowed me, but like I stated earlier, burgers don’t really do it for me. Parking can be an issue. Burger 21 is located in a very high traffic shopping center, so you may have to park quite a distance away.
