Total love/hate relationship with Bright House overall. When I bring a DVR or remote into this location, there’s never an issue and I am treated well. The quality of the Internet and cable service is consistently good in my opinion. However, I have been disappointed with the increase in price and additional fees in recent years and how there’s relatively no option to get rid of channels I don’t want in exchange for a more modest cable package. No, I don’t want to go to basic cable, but there should be some options to eliminate at least 20 – 40 channels that I absolutely never watch. That’s one of the nice things about Verizon Fios. They have various packages of channels you can buy if you want them(sports package, news package, entertainment package, etc.) However, Verizon never seems to have their act together when I call them to take them up on a promotional offer… so I’m stuck with a quality product in Bright House that I feel is somewhat overpriced. Well, I like watching TV. Just wish Bright House would at least run an occasional promotion or perk for those of us who have remained loyal customers for years now.

Good service & fast in and out. I came at lunchtime on a weekday to obtain a battery for my modem. Parked right at front door and got what needed in less than 5 minutes. Always have had good experience with BH both on the phone and in the store.

If I could rate their service less than zero, I would. The simple task of getting someone to speak with me turned out to be an ordeal. Then, when I thought I would finally get to speak with a human, came this message, «We are experiencing technical difficulties, please try your call later». As I was waiting for Brighthouse, I found an old flat antenna from my RV and plugged it into my home TV. Fantastic, I get better reception and all then all the channels I want over the air. So, that should be a lesson Brighthouse. I just ordered two additional antennas for my other home TV’s.

So… today is the 2nd day the brighthouse guy didn’t bother to show up to install my box. I have not received a phone call or anything. Who does this? What a waste of my time. How do you let this happen twice to the same customer?

I always thought Bright house beat Verizon in customer service, but my recent experiences have shown quite the opposite. My cable and internet have been out for the past 6 days and every time I call they have trouble getting a tech out. They one who couldn’t figure it out, and another one no-showed. What’s worse is they are aware that my thermostat runs off the internet and I don’t have ac if the internet is down. So, for the past 6 days of 100° weather my family has had no ac… Bright house feels that a $ 60 credit and an apology makes up for no services… wow! They now can’t get a tech here until 6pm… we’ll see if he shows up.

I’ve had such a bad experience with Brighthouse. Scheduled to have my phone disconnected, representative gave me a confirmation number and scheduled for a Friday between 3 and 5 pm to pick up equipment… no one showed up.(Not to mention there was a 45 minute wait on the phone just to talk to someone). After the no show, I called and they said there was no evidence that I scheduled, even though I had a confirmation number. Hmmm. The representative said this was common that whoever scheduled previously forgot to enter my information. Okay, fine… let’s reschedule. Rescheduled for the following Thursday between 8am and 8pm.(excuse me, 12 hours… okay day off work). The wednesday before my scheduled visit, I get a call stating they were coming NOW to get my equipment. WHAT… well I happened to be home but really? He said they had me scheduled for Wednesday but I had proof because I printed my CHAT session BUT okay COMEGETIT! This doesn’t even begin to tell you the problems I had at install… what a cluster! Everyone has been nice BUTWOW the unorganization! i had Verizon Fios before and would go back again if my community didn’t pay part of my service. Now I hear Verizon may be bought out by Frontier… well that’s a whole other story. Their customer service is horrible too! If that happens, I guess Dish Network or Direct TV is an option. Good luck!

I have never had so many issues trying to get my cable and internet connected. A rep came out finally after asking for 5 days and when he came he did not say 2 words. Very uncomfortable. Somehow the internet stopped working hours after he left. I have been on hold for 45 minutes and still nothing… I will not ever try bright house again! This is so frustrating. Team Verizon!

Growing up in Michigan with Comcast, I never thought I would say I missed Comcast. Thank you Brighthouse for showing me I do miss Comcast. I was not happy with the long phone wait times when we had cable/Internet problems. Figures that when I come to return my equipment I will get another long wait. Sheeeesh!!! We used to have Brighthouse at my office. We had all sorts of Internet problems. Since switching to Verizon, things have run so much smoother!!! I’m going to do everything I can to avoid any future relationships with Brighthouse. The only benefit I can think is the wi-fi hot spots around the Tampa Bay Area. However, I have never utilized them once. About 2 weeks after turning off my service, I started getting phone calls from a equipment collection company. They have a business model where they pick up you equipment for convenience and then Brighthouse will bill you. I opted to hand deliver my equipment. I am so trilled to have dropped off my equipment to be done with Brighthouse.
