Big Lots

I rarely come to this place, only when my wife drags me to all the places she wants to shop at. The prices aren’t bad, sometimes real good, but I can actually find things cheaper on other stores on certain items, so I make sure that when I do come here that I don’t «splurge» on items that look like they might be cheaper.
I will say that since they redesigned the store, it makes more sense and is a lot cleaner than it used to be.

This is one of my favorite stores, it’s one big treasure hunt! It has a little of everything and you are never quite sure what you are going to discover. I needed a new wall charger for my cell phone and had seen them here before, for a decent price. Well I didn’t find that, but $ 200.00 latter I left with assorted electronic accessories, household products, MP3 player, food products and various items.
This store did not have my red pepper spread, that I have come to love and can’t find anywhere else. I’ll have to go to my usual store and look for it because I am out and I love this spread!
It is so easy for me to walk in planing to spend $ 20.00 and spend so much more. As I move down the aisles I remember things I need or am out of. I don’t understand this. I can go to the grocery store and get just what I want and need. I walk into Big Lot’s and I want it all! Thank goodness Big Lot’s is not Lord and Taylor or I would be in big trouble! Hey, don’t judge, I needed everything I purchased, I just didn’t know that until I saw it in the store.
What’s a girl to do? We all need items and run out of products, so you have to stock up.

This place is hit or miss with deals. But since it’s Christmas I was able to find Paula dean 17 piece porcelain set for 69.00 which is normally 100.00 awesome!
