This walmart hasn’t always been a favorite of mine. But lately since coming here, during the early morning hours, it’s been good. I’m finding that the fruitand vegetables have been good, and also navigating the aisles are fairly easy, the traffic is light and you’re more likely to get help, and it’s conveniently on my morning commute. My best recommendation about coming here would have to be in the morning.

Wal-Mart already has a reputation for bad service but this location takes the cake in my opinion. There are a few employees who seem to genuinely want to help but those employees are usually not around when I shop here. Most of my interactions with employees have not been positive at this location. Across the board, they seem more focused on gossiping about customers’ butts(literally a conversation I overheard as soon as this poor female customer walked away) and complaining rather than helping. Customer service is ridiculously slow. I had a problem with a transaction that took forever to resolve while my cold food got warm in the car. The issue was in two items missing from my bags and I was simply told to «check my purse» when asking about it. Oddly enough, I didn’t bring a purse in at all and this statement was said to me AFTER the employees checked their cameras, which seems extremely shady to me. Honestly, it may cost a bit more but shop somewhere like Target. The attitude is too much to deal with here. Quick edit: there was a tall, dark-haired man named Robert who swooped in at the end to take care of the situation. He was effective, professional, and had a great demeanor and attitude. I just wish all of his coworkers displayed the same professionalism.

This Walmart is hardly ever busy, but you’ll wait in line forever because there are never enough registers open. Also, the self-check out is always having some kind of error — either the chip readers don’t work(and if you have a chip card, it won’t let you swipe), the machine freaks out and thinks you’re bagging mystery items, or it just freezes entirely. Also, items are frequently out of stock in both the grocery and pharmacy section. The clearance section is poorly organized and causes sensory overload. If you know what you’re looking for, where to find it, and are in a kind-of hurry, this Walmart might be okay for you.

Worst Walmart in Tallahassee. They never have things stocked properly especially in their produce department. The employees are barely ever helpful. Instead of checking to see if they have something you’re looking for(say a specific tube to go tubing with) the answer is always«We don’t have it»… and then after looking in a couple departments you find that they do have it. They do keep their store pretty clean though(esp compared to the Walmart on Tenn St.)
