I was so excited to get the spinach, cucumber and goat cheese salad for take out today — no red onions, please. But when I got it back to my office, it appeared they left out every part of it that I was looking forward to — raisins, cranberries, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds — and instead subbed in red onions. It’s so disappointing when you can’t rely on a place to get a basic salad right, and then are stuck with nothing for lunch for the rest of the day. Thanks anyway, Smashburger.

Next to Whataburger this is my 2nd favorite burger joint to go to. I love the barbeque bacon cheddar burger with the smash fries. The smashed hamburger comes on an egg roll smothered in barbeque sauce with apple wood bacon strips and a mild cheddar cheese slice topped off with an onion straw haystack. The smash fries are tossed in an Italian olive oil, rosemary & garlic with just a little bit of salt. The décor has a modern touch of glass metal and wood. This particular Smash Burger has a nice little sitting area located outside for the days when the weather is beautiful. The staff are friendly and the restrooms are clean. Could not ask for anything more. *Enjoy*

Was absolutely delicious. Reminds me of a way better Steak N Shake. Food came out fast and was fresh. I like the custom bun aspect. I went with the Chipotle bun and it was very good. I will definitely be back.

Not impressed. The food was good however it probably would have tasted better had it been warm. The French fries were freezing cold and it was over priced for what they were asking.

The salad was surprisingly good, considering they are a fast food chain! Although it was tempting to order another burger(the mushroom burger is incredible), I ordered the Baja Cobb. I was really pleased with ny decision! The ingredients salad greens were fresh and crispy and the tomatoes were actually ripe. This never hapoens when you order a salad from a fadt food establishment! The jalapeños had a nice kick to them as well! Overall, the salad was great! I’m definitely interested in trying another one on their menu.

I ordered a burger and fries, and the fries were not in my bag and the burger was tasteless and had a weird smell. I called back and got the manager Paul on the phone who was extremely rude, and«couldn’t guarantee» that I could have a refund, but I could get a remake of my meal. I had to drive over 20 minutes to go back to the store, to find that he was gone. Thankfully another manager on duty gladly gave me a refund. I was also given coupons for a free side, but I sat them on a table, and left. I don’t plan on returning.

Not really impressed. It took a long time to get my food and the fries were bleh. The burger was good but nothing special. The thing I did appreciate was how soft the burger was. The bun was pretty good too but there is nothing special about Smash Burger.

I ordered a smash burger and sweet potato fries today to go. I was surprised to discover that there was absolutely no seasoning on the burger or the fries. They also were out of lemons for iced tea. Bland and poor burger to bun ratio.

Got takeout and everything was priced high a la carte. Ordered the classic burger with a house salad and was highly disappointed. The burger was pink centered and the salad was spoiled.

Nom nom nom nom… don’t expect to have great conversations while you’re eating here because you’ll be too busy shoving delicious hamburger down your gullet. We came here on a weeknight(too lazy to cook); I ordered the Original Smash with fried pickles, and he ordered the Avocado Burger with french fries. Delicious. I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again — SmashBurger is the south’s answer to Shake Shack. The burgers tasted great, and the side items were piping hot. Employees were friendly and patient with us(we sat at our table for probably 2 hours, just hanging out). We will most definitely be back.

I’ve been looking forward to trying this place and I wasn’t disappointed at all! Walking in the menus are on the left, which is also where the line forms. After a few minutes I finally decided on the black bean avocado burger with the smash fries and my son did a «create your own burger» with bacon, blue cheese crumbles, ranch sauce and the chipotle bun with smash fries. Our server, who was extremely nice and very sweet(I forgot to get her name) was even a little concerned that the chipotle bun might be too hot for my son to eat and offered to switch it out for him if he didn’t like it after he tried. Turned out he loved it and ate every bite of it. The inside had plenty of seating and was very clean. We chose to sit outside on the patio since the weather was beautiful and we really enjoyed it. Our food came out super fast too! We had three different workers come out and check on us while we were there and I couldn’t wait to tell them how good my black bean burger was. All in all, I’m very impressed with the customer service here and how attentive the workers were. Since it was our first time there they even gave us coupons for our next visit. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu!

The gang and I stopped in for an early dinner yesterday before a party and I will say I really liked Smashburger! We tried 3 sandwiches, 2 sides, 2 drinks and a dessert milkshake all for about $ 35! I especially loved the black bean burger(so did my 10 month old daughter, who kept trying to thieve it from me haha) and the sweet potato fries. My fiancée ordered the portobello chicken smash with onion straws, and we both split a classic Smashburger. Everything was fresh, tasty and simple. To top off the meal we all shared an Oreo milkshake, which was delish! The atmosphere was clean, spacious and easy and the staff was friendly and pleasant. We even received some coupons to use on our next visit! :) we will be back!

Today was National Cheeseburger Day, so I felt compelled to finally try(for a late lunch) what sounded like the perfect stack — the Sin City burger at Smashburger at Magnolia Grove. Heavenly. My first shot at a burger with a fried egg — plus bacon, cheese, Haystack onions(their trademark onion rings), «special sauce»(a mayo-mustard blend) and a seared, smashed, caramelized, crispy, Angus burger. It was really quite excellent. A breakfast/lunch crossover sandwich! Highly recommended(though only served here in Tally as a special, for a short time).

I love their burgers, I didn’t feel anything funny like when I have those burgers from Mc Donald’s or Burger King where the chemicals or idk what ever that thing creeps in your veins so I know they’re using a good quality meat. Price wise, it is worth paying for. I mean, why buy a cheap burger if you’re going to feel yucky after eating it? I love their smash fries, it’s just too thin and small compare to five guys that’s for sure, but the flavor is refreshing for me since it was my first time to try their smash fries with rosemary. Service is excellent. Ambiance is great. We’ll definitely come back for more and try their other burgers.

Went in here for my first experience with smashburger today, burger was alright but i was confused as i ordered the bbq bacon buger, and my mom ordered the bacon burger, they were pretty busy so it took a while for us to get our food, but when we finally did, mine came first and had no bbq on it, it was completly dry, i had to wait until the server came back to bring my moms burger which came well over 5 minutes after mine(weird we wouldnt get our food at the same time or close) i then asked for bbq sauce that should have already came with it, she seemed confused but agreed to bring me some, however she served 3 other tables before actually bringing it back to me. by that time my food was completely cold, my mom was done eating and i had to be to work, so i scarfed down my cold burger and went to work. the flavor of the burger was amazing however, not like most plain burgers you would order it was seasoned perfect hence the 2 stars instead of 1. i wouldn’t say this place is a no go, but if you’re in a hurry or expecting to get what you order the first time, id choose somewhere else :)

Smashburger is a great addition to the TLH boutique burger landscape. One opened up in TLH suburbia some time ago, but we’ve held out for our very own urban location. Five of us came for an uncharacteristically early dinner on a Thursday of opening week. I knew in advance that the truffle/mushroom/Swiss was the stuff of burger legend. I also knew that few would be indifferent to it. This burger(I suspect) has its proponents AND opponents. Truffled ANYTHING is seldom for the innocent.(Purposely inflammatory commentary included). One of us opted for the kids’ meal chicken option. We also had a bacon burger, a classic black-bean, and Meredith went with the panhandle with black bean subbing out the Smashburger patty. For me, the primary option will always be the truffle/mushroom/Swiss with a side of Veggie Frites. I’ve had all of the other options. They’re fine and all — you all enjoy them! Wrap this little party off with a round of shakes(I went with the butterfinger malted) and you’ve got the makings of a fine time! Here’s a left-field observation, and it’s no fault of Smashburger(or of any of the restaurants). The architectural geniuses who designed magnolia grove’s layout(magnolia grove is what this big modern-day«nonstrip mall» calls itself) positioned the business dumpsters clear on the other side of the parking lot. Effectively, there is no «backside» to any of these shops lining magnolia. It’s especially peculiar for Starbucks and Smashburger as their easterly access points have to cross the Starbucks drive through lane(oh, and like most well though out drive through lanes, this one doesn’t have an accompanying«just driving thru» option). But anyway, back to the dumpster location. This means employees will have to cart their accumulated waste out in front of the businesses — roughly 100 yards away. For a development so thoughtfully/meticulously planned out(we watched the progress from the time the nine acres of trees were felled to when the first store(Starbucks) opened, I would have expected a more elegant waste disposal solution. Again, not related to Smashburger. But… Where am I going to put this?

Very unique burgers. I love that although it’s a national restaurant, they consider local tastes(and it’s also ran by local franchisees!). My favorite is the Panhandle(our regional burger): Wicked Pimina Cheese, Gulden’s Spicy Brown Mustard, fried green tomatoes, shredded lettuce & mayo on an egg bun. I just tried the Sin City(limited time offer) and couldn’t help but think of how this is the ultimate hangover food! It includes fried egg, Smash sauce, American cheese, bacon, grilled onions and haystack onions all on an egg bun. Another must try is the Truffle Mushroom Swiss. One of the most flavorful burgers I have ever tasted! The location is prime. In a brand new shopping center. Just a minute away from Governors Square mall. The décor adds a local flare with pictures of the Capitol.
