Everything in my prior reviews stands true. Today’s update focuses only on the pharmacy. I’ve historically used an alternate pharmacy in town but my physician this morning was very positive about the publix pharmacy network and I decided to give this a go. Pharm tech was polite, knowledgeable and courteous. In short, a thoroughly Publixesque experience. Clearly, an upside of a pharmacy in Publix is, well, the convenience of it all.(Hey!!! — wait a minute… — maybe that’s why they have pharmacies in convenience stores!?!) And, it always bears mentioning. Don’t forget to visit«Ngo» in the Sushi department. He’ll be there(It’s unbelievable the hours he puts in) — and he’ll take care of you.

This is one of the better of the facilities in tallahassee. Probably one of the best features of this store is the sushi chef, the quality of what he turns out is unreal. One of the things I enjoy also about this particular location, is the bakery and the two types of rules they put out. Also the surprising BOGO special everyday that are not listed, you very good in handy when you are on a budget.

Was at petco and needed groceries so stopped by this publix. Pros: 1. Nice pretty strip mall location/pretty on the outside 2. Nice Customer Service 3. Meat selection has better quality/fresher than other publixs in town and even have bone marrow(haven’t seen that at other publixs) Cons: 1. parking is hard to find(popular strip mall?) 2. small publix– feels squished and less open/not as bright than other publixs in town and less selection(ex: why didn’t I see chicken breasts? How did a publix not have chicken breast? I saw organic chicken breast but not reg one). I feel like there was also less selection in a lot of areas(ex: bakery is really small and so was seafood section). Overall, its a publix in a popular area(near the mall) and in a pretty strip mall but its small so don’t expect it to have as much to offer as other bigger publixs in town.

As a general rule of thumb, I love Publix. This store is bright, clean, has a great produce section, and is generally filled with the things that I love. They also have a nice selection of organic, gluten-free, and all-natural products at reasonable prices. My only gripe with this store, and unfortunately it’s a big one that merits losing two stars, is my experience at the deli. I love Publix subs. They make my day 100% better. However, the handful of times that I have come here to order a sub, I deal with sassy employees who tell me to «open my darn mouth» because I’m «too quiet.» And when I ask for just a little mustard, they act like I’m ruining their day. I’m one of those people who is always extra-friendly to customer service employees because I was once in their shoes, but when they are automatically mean to me without reason, I get very upset. No more Publix subs for me from this location, but I’m sure I will continue to grocery shop here because the store itself is fantastic.
