Bottom line — these guys have depth of knowledge and service along with breadth of inventory. I did a little homework and learned that O’Reilly Auto Parts’ history officially starts in 1957. At press time(er, when I hit the«post review» button), there were 4,311 stores nationwide. 115 in Florida. I understand this is a company-owned store. To me, that can be a positive since there’s a cohesive culture within itself that often translates to heightened customer service(at least when compared to independantly owned«franchisees/jobbers») — but I digress.(Click here( ) for additional info). I’ve come to this auto-parts store almost exclusively for the past few years, largely because of sub-par experience I’ve had from across the street. No need to name names. These guys are never too busy to help — and are staffed so that I have never waited for assistance. Whether it’s a simple replacement bulb for the map-light, or a more complex specialty tool that needs to be ordered, I’ve been satisfied. I am by NO means a gearhead. I remember ONCE having the notion that I would change my own oil — back when I was in my early 20’s. It’s just not what I do — but I respect those that are so mechanically inclined. I’m way more of a carpenter than a mechanic. I say this because it’s possible that you, too, are not mechanically/automotively fluent. If that’s the case, I’d confidently come here knowing that you’d be treated above-board, directed precisely to the product or service that is best for you. I.e., they’re trustworthy.
