By far one of the best hidden gems in this city. After discovering this store after moving here several years ago, I couldn’t imagine going to a larger chain bookstore to find a book without checking My Favorite Books first. The prices are remarkable, and the owners will go out of their way to find a book for you that they may currently not have in stock. Once they acquire the book they will hold it for you and call you to let you know that its available. Beyond great customer service.

I was frantically searching for an acceptable present for my nephews and came across this enchanting little book store. I have found myself going back quite often and enjoying every trip I make. The space is stacked to the ceiling with gently used books in all shapes and sizes. The owners are extremely helpful and participate in community events and even have a children’s reading corner in the back. You can call ahead to see if they have the book in stock and if not, they ask if you wish to be contacted if the book becomes available. It makes reading that much more enjoyable when you have a cozy helpful place like My Favorite Books to encourage you.

This was such a nice store! We were greeted and someone explained to us the pricing system. If I remember correctly books are half the cover price and others that do not have price have the price written inside. The store is very clean and organized and the people inside are very nice. They have a nice variety of books! I found a couple of treasures by relatively unknown authors in America that was such an awesome surprise! :D There is also a nice kids section to bring your little ones!
I also gave them 4 starts because the employees were very nice and made sure we were being helped. There is also some seating and no one bothers you while you are checking out books: D

Happy to stumble across this when I was in the area to check out Lofty Pursuits. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, explaining how pricing works and answering my questions about bringing books in for store credit. they have an extensive collection to browse with a majority being mostly contemportary fiction and its various sub genres. The cooking section however was great — small but great and the children’s section had copies of most of the popular series with kids and teens right now. Happy to find this place and looking forward to many more shopping trips here!

Good variety with emphasis on the current and contemporary. Not much here for the vintage collector. Earns an extra star for cleanliness, organization and being the first book store I’ve seen with a 3×5 card index of inventory! How Cool!

Nice little used-​book store. They don’t have everything, but what they do have is usually at great prices. Nice staff, looks locally owned.
