I can recall dial up connections that were faster than this hotel’s «WiFi». Horrendous. Can’t even download email. As previous reviewer stated, my cell phone was at least 10 times faster than their supposed«WiFi.» It appears the franchisees of this hotel do not care to make sure their staff checks room for issues. Examples, one phone broken, one blind missing rod to close blinds(broken), low battery warning on thermostat, etc., etc. Spend a few dollars more and stay elsewhere.

This is a safe, reasonable priced, and great choice for visiting Tallahassee even though it is not the closest hotel to FSU. The rooms are above average, the breakfast is decent, and the location is just off I-10 with plenty of parking and plenty of restaurants close by. If you are traveling to FSU for a football game, all the hotels are mega expensive and this place is one of the more reasonable priced choices and I will definitely stay here again.

I’m very pleased with this establishment. The rooms are very clean, well decorated, and the beds are very comfortable. I will definitely continue using Hampton Inn whenever I’m traveling. I appreciate the wonderful staff. They are in a cheerful mood and are doing a wonderful job.

I like the night I have spent here and they are quiet. When I check in is already 12 midnight. The front desk has the room ready for me per my instruction not facing the highway. If you follow the GPS from I-10 westbound they will take you from the long way. Just use you map and know your direction is faster. The room is nice and space full for a double queen size bed. We have the nonsmoking room and they are quiet. The room is clean and comfort. The only thing is the pillow is too small. I like full size pillow better. The room have extra towel if you need it. In the morning they have commentary breakfast. The dining hall is high ceiling and open pleasantly. Like the breakfast provided. They have the sweet sausage, egg and cheese; make your own waffle, bagel and fresh food.

The room was clean and spacious, but the service was really lacking. I had a problem with my linens and instead of replacing them and remaking the bed they just dropped the linens on the bed and left. Then when I remade it and left the old linens in a pile on the couch the cleaning staff just left it there. Also the internet is terrible! The WAPs are placed incorrectly and some of them were not active.

Clean, spacious, comfortable beds, quiet. Only drawback is it’s difficult to get back onto I-10 East.

Previous reviewer who complained of no meat at the breakfast bar they listened! I was very impressed with the breakfast bar, we had sausage, eggs, french toast sticks and there was those waffle makers and full juice and cereal bar, pastries! The bed was VERY comfortable and the hotel was very clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful, what a nice stop on my own back to the Big Easy.

Worked out great for a recent stay in Tally. Good breakfast and even dinner on week nights which includes a small salad offering. Cookies at check in, good clean rooms, and a knowledgeable staff.

I stayed here based on another review of this hotel on Unilocal, and wasn’t sure if maybe I got a bad room or what, but it wasn’t up to par with other Hampton Inn’s I’ve stayed at. I make it a point to stay at Hampton’s typically because they’re always clean, very comfortable, and have great cust. service. This one had decent service, it appeared sort of clean, but my room was falling apart. Broken blinds(so I couldn’t open or close them), broken curtains hanging off the railing, with the ‘wand’ ripped off and laid on the a/c unit, an a/c unit that I think wasn’t connected to my thermostat(it wouldn’t go down in temp no matter how low I put the temperature on auto mode), and overall the hotel was looking pretty dated and used. For $ 129 a night I was expecting a little more. Also, the wi-fi is painfully slow, almost to the point of not making it worth the effort. The 4G on my phone was easily 4x faster.

Pros: Free breakfast, cookies and dinner. Very comfortable beds and linens Clean and quiet rooms Friendly and helpful staff Cons: The slow wifi. 0.15MB download speed. Can’t even watch a short youtube video. The staff said it was due to them hosting a big conference and being full but I’m skeptical. I’ll minus a star and start staying elsewhere if the speeds don’t increase.
