Auto & Tire Super Service Center

My engine was running very rough, and my truck had a flashing check engine light (which I’ve never seen before, but I know that it means catastrophic failure) on the way to work one morning. I pulled into the PAN gas station to check the fluids and smells and everything seemed fine, but I didn’t wanna push it. I’ve only been in Tallahassee for a year and have not had much engine mechanic experience here (I’ve had experience with the following: for brakes: Jake’s Brakes; for body work: Capital City Collision [both did amazing work]).
I coasted next door to the Auto & Tire Super Service Center off Capital Circle NE around 7:45am to have them run a diagnostic (which they did for free). Turned out they knew exactly what it was and quoted me a good price. They even allowed the mechanic to take me into the garage and show me my engine and the exact things that were wrong with it, as well as what they were going to do (I’m kind of a car nerd so I always wanna see what’s going on, and they had no problem with that). They even offered to give me a ride to work, but I had a coworker pick me up.
The truck was done before noon, and it has never driven better. I don’t have any of the issues I was having anymore (it’s been about 3 weeks and 3,000 miles since the visit), my check engine light has yet to return, and I am getting better mpg than ever (it’s an 18-​yr. old 4wd SUV, so every mile per gallon counts). My price was exactly was quoted and the staff were very nice.
They guarantee their work, and if I had an engine issue happen today on any of my vehicles, this would be the place I would take them to. I have high respect for auto mechanics, and these guys did not let me down. I definitely recommend them for any car engine needs.

I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience here. I’ve lived here a little over eight years so far and have had two cars serviced with them and will not trust anyone else with my car. John and Don are always friendly and professional and try to get the work done as soon as possible. Sometimes they can get a little backed up with work so depending on what service you need to have done and how many workers are available at the time your wait could be long, as that can happen with any auto repair shop. I always wait for my car so if I have a long wait it never bothers me. I either read on my Kindle or chat with the guys.
Auto problems are NEVER fun but going to the Super Center on Capital Circle makes it much less painful for me, and not only will I continue to go there but I will refer friends as well. Thank you to all the hard workers there that have taken care of my cars over the years!

Went in with my truck having bad acceleration problems and the staff there were able to diagnose the problem fairly quickly. Turned out to be faulty spark plugs so a tuneup done same day as dropped off. Charged me for the repair then after a day I found the problem resurfaced and took it back in. The manager talked to the mechanic that was working on it the day earlier and the mechanic admitted that he overlooked a key part and was able to fix it at no additional charge! That is an honest business that values customer satisfaction and the mindset to fix the problem at any cost to keep customers happy.
The good:
–clean waiting area
–knowledgeable and friendly staff
–honest quotes
–they don’t force you for alternative services that you may not need
The bad:
–sometimes they have low staff so one guy could be working on three vehicles at a time
–fixed within the same day yet depends on the work to be done it could take all day.
Call out: Mechanic here named Justin. Very smart with the vehicles and is an honest guy to deal with. He will make it a point to let you know what the problem is and how he is trying to fix it.
Overall if you are wanting a place to take your vehicle to get fixed with and honest manager and knowledgable mechanics, I would recommended this shop.

BE CAREFULL guys if you ever think of going there. They will rip you off. I am new in Tallahassee. I bought 2 cars from Auction. One for me and the other for my wife. 2004 BMW 325i and 2003 Nissan Altima. Both cars drive well and just needed battery. I could change the battery myself, But I took the cars to this place for our satisfaction. I explained the situation to them. They said they will do a 27 points check. They called me the next day and sent email with a quote of $ 1400 for BMW and $ 2400 for Nissan. They included everything possibly they can. I don’t know much about cars. So, I was worried about what to do. Finally I went there and requested them to take off some of the non urgent items. They made it $ 800 for BMW and $ 1800 for Nissan. I also made sure that they use BMW battery for BMW. Because any other batteries may not suite BMW. They said they are including European battery which should be ok. They took advantage of that too. They called me the next day saying I was right, they will need BMW battery for which I will have to pay $ 1100 for BMW. Greedy b*****ds. Anyway, I got the car from them after few days. I and my wife drove the car to out place (5 minutes drive). Then I drove BMW back to my work (10 minutes drive). BMW was real hot. Smoke was coming from the engine. I called the Idiot Don. He asked me to take it back. I handed the key to the guy in front desk. I asked them what f***n 27 points check did they do? How come they didn’t find the engine is getting hot within 5 minutes and the AC is stopping for cold air. The guy said that AC normally shuts off automatically if the engine goes hot. Anyway, I called them the next day. Don gave me a quote of $ 1900 over phone and also by email for BMW which includes $ 700 for AC compressor. These clearly indicates how they rip off customers. I simply brought back BMW without any further service from this stupid place. My Nissan Altima was also stopped in a week. I towed it to a different service center and got it fixed for $ 400. If you really care about having good and honest service, simply avoid this dishonest, fraud service center.

Best prices and BETTER than great customer service. Don brings back small town service and quality. I bought 2 tires for a reasonable price and they are great. Then my other car got a screw in the tire and they plugged it for free!!! Thanks guys! At least give them a chance they even beat Costco prices!
