It’s great to find a contractor who does exactly what they say and do it very well because of the pride in their work all without gouging your wallet. But, that’s exactly what you get with Dr. Glass. They’re amazing: efficient, friendly and careful and our home — which has dozens of large panes of glass — looks amazing. Highly recommended!

Our windows were filthy; probably hadn’t been cleaned since the house was built. There were streaks of filth running down some of the large fixed windows. Additionally, we have a two story great room and many of the windows are 20+ feet in the air. I got a recommendation from a coworker for Dr. Glass and the Unilocal reviews were good.
They’ll give you an immediate quote based on what they can see of your house online, so sight unseen. I was skeptical. Two people showed up for our house, and spent the majority of the day cleaning all the windows. The work was great, all scraped and cleaned sills. One of the cleaners commented that the job was bigger than anticipated, they could use a third person, and they weren’t going to do the basement windows. No big deal. The cleaners left for the day, and I assumed I’d get an invoice later but no mention (or approval given) for an upcharge.
Sure enough when contacted to pay they did indicate that the quote had been too low for the size of the job. However, Tim handled it well and offered me the option to pay the quoted price, the higher price, or split the difference. I opted to pay the extra $ 60 he was asking for given how much work it really was and that they had done a high quality job. And now I know I can trust them.

Dr. Glass is the first window washing service I have used. They really made a believer out of me. Not only did they wash all the windows in the house (inside and out) to a sparkling clean, they also cleaned the nasty dirt and cobwebs out of the window wells and cleaned and reinstalled my window screens. The window cleaners were very careful that they left no evidence behind that they had been in the house cleaning windows. I could not have been more pleased with the service.

It is a large 4 story row home in heart of DC with skylights and all. They cleaned the windows really well and thoroughly. I didn’t realize it was so sunny that day until het skylights were done! The team was also so polite and nice!

My townhouse windows were filthy from construction that had taken place down the street — Dr. Glass made them shine! Office staff were responsive and friendly; it was easy to make an appointment within relatively short timeframe (I needed them cleaned within 2 – 3 days of calling); two friendly and polite workers showed up on time, and went beyond expectations — screens were cleaned, windows polished inside and out, and they even washed third floor windows I had not included in the estimate for no additional charge. Sun is now streaming through the windows, not a streak to be seen!
