The absolute best chicken fried steak sandwich & Indian tacos. The strawberry shakes are fantastic. I wish they’d open up a few in Missouri.

Cute Kitchy diner. Our phone didn’t work. So the waitress came out to get our order. Shrimp basket for Mom, Burrito plate for me. This is a cute kitchy diner. My burrito plate came with sourcream on the side – crunchy fresh chips. Mom’s fries were homestyle fries cut thick with more potatoe flavor. The ketchup was in a glass bottle. The fifties music is family friendly. The Pepsi products taste great. Perfect place to stop on a road trip.

This restaurant isn’t exceptional; I just can’t find any reason to take a star away. The theme and décor are comforting, the service beyond impeccable, and the frito chili pie divine. They may not be serving 5 star food, but they serve comfort food done right. My waitress was probably the most honestly genuine and friendly waitress I’ve ever met. She definitely made the first time experience awesome. I told myself I was only going to eat half my gigantic frito chili pie. Yeah right. It wasn’t particularly inventive, but it was the way a frito chili pie is supposed to be. I felt like I gained a pound from it, and I felt like it was well worth it. Definitely stop in if you’re looking for some greasy comfort food.

Maybe it’s nostalgia, but I think Del Rancho is delicious. My favorite thing at this location is the«Tahlequah Taco,» which is an Indian taco. The fry bread is great; it’s all around really good comfort food. This is a perfect stop after a day of floating the river.

I was very disappointed eating here… hadn’t ate here in years and passing by and thought we would enjoy birthday dinner… chicken fried steak was overcooked. couldn’t eat coating on it… baked potato was a left over. barely warm… we will pass it by next time we go thru town. The other post that were written… we should of read them. But the waitress was very good…

This place is amazing, we drive here from Stillwater just to enjoy the food, we even take home one for tomorrow.

Should be Del Rauncho… Everything has that fake smoke flavor.

I remember as a kid driving to Tahlequah on about a monthly basis, the highlight of the trip would always be to stop at Del Rancho and if I was good, I got to pick up the phone and place the order for our table. That aspect of the restaurant has not changed. Having your own phone to order is still pretty cool The last about 4 times I’ve visited Del Rancho I have been disappointed. The food quality has suffered greatly over the last several years. This trip I ordered just a burger and fries. The burger had an odd taste to it, like the meat was freezer burnt or something simular. The fries were a tad on the undercooked. The only highlight of my meal was the shake which still is the same delicious shakes that they’ve always had. Also, while the food quality has diminished, it seems the prices have not. I spent about $ 10 a person to eat there on this trip. The service was a good point however, our waitress repeatedly made sure our drinks were full and took care of any needs we had. I generally have one rule, don’t let my drink hit the bottom and you’ll get a good tip, in which she did. I can not fault her for the food being meh.

Based on the name, I was expecting Del Rancho to be a mexican restaurant, but it’s actually a diner. Sit down, look at the menu, pick up the phone at the table that calls the kitchen to place your order. It was my first time trying fried bread, and it was pretty tasty to me(greasy, but as expected)! The strawberry shake was good too. I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes and they gave me a generous portion.
