I got my eyebrows done here a couple weekends ago and Kara did an awesome job! The best eyebrow wax I had yet! The customer service was amazing. I was blown away by their kindness and professionalism. I can’t wait to get them done again and maybe even my hair done!

Brittney was fantastic. She would not let me leave the chair until it was perfect. Also, I have fairly light roots and dark grow out. She colored it perfectly so I wouldn’t get hot roots. The prices are reasonable for the products and expertise of the team.

I’ve been coming to the Intaglio Salon and absolutely love it. They have great customer service and the price is fair for the good hair cuts.

Brittney is a great hair stylist. She listens to what her customers want and takes pride in her work. Brittney has only been with the company for a couple of months but she does have 15 years of experience. I did a cut and balayage and my hair came out beautiful! It’s a bit pricey but for the work I want done, it’s worth it. Especially with a great hair stylist at your back. Kasey (the owner) ensures all her customers are happy and seems family oriented. The place is welcoming, but is a bit dark in the reception area, however there is lighting where it needs to be. Prices for extra products are pricey as well, but I’m thinking it’s because of the brand they carry. I’ve never been one to go to a salon, so everything is pretty new to me and I’m basing my decisions on prices/​products solely on one other salon I went to 3 years ago that did a horrific job on me. I like this salon. hair stylists are all friendly and good conversationalists. I’m not the type but I will ask questions here and there.
Pros: Brittney is a great hair stylist. She listens to what her clients want, aims to please and is very friendly and accommodating. She loves her profession and it shows in her work. I am happy with my haircut and style. I do want to go lighter so in a couple weeks i’ll be heading back. Brittney has found a loyal customer in me.
Cons: They asked me to choose up to 3 complimentary services: i only chose one massage, but NEVER got one. Please don’t advertise if you guys aren’t doing it! Also they offered me water or tea. DO NOT drink the water. Its sink water in a small glass. And it was warm. Disappointed about that. If you are going to offer water please offer bottled water or have a vending machine so customers can buy their own. **UPDATE** 03÷14÷16 I did not know that your hair stylist was in charge of these complimentary services. When I initially wrote this review my hair was black (trying to go blonde) and Brittney had to do a lot of work to get it as light as I wanted it. Because of this, she didn’t have time to offer me a massage (4 hour job). Second time around, she did offer a massage (2hour job). I was asking too many questions and feel that she was preoccupied about answering everything correctly that she didn’t really do a good job of massaging. I think the company should NOT offer any complimentary services. let the hair stylists do their job with taking care of our hair. Too many responsibilities on a persons plate will cause mistakes and lead to unhappy customers (like Debbie M below). I’m fine going into a salon just to get my hair done… that’s all anyone goes into a salon for right? Otherwise, the massage (while she tried) was mediocre and tea that i asked for was the same. I still think the thought of adding a vending machine, water machine or offering bottled water is a much better than what they have.

Went to this salon saturday for a cut and balayage due to the exceptional reviews. Sad to say i was grossly disappointed. My color is nothing like i wanted and the service i recieved was nothing like they advertise. They ask you to choose up to 3 complimentary services so i did. None were ever actually done. Im not sure why you would ask a client what services to add at no charge if you dont plan on preforming them. You also fill out a form upon arrival talking about your hair and what products you use and sych so your stylist knows all about your hair. Clearly mine didnt read it nor effectively evaluate my hair prior to my cut as i have naturally very curly, textured, biracial hair. All of which i stated. My cut turned out great. For someone without the amount of curls i have. So since i wear my hair curly almost all the time my cut doesnt work for hiw i wear my hair. Had she taken the time to read this and converse with me about it this may have been avoided. Onto the color fiasco… One of my colors didnt take due to the stylist claiming it was oxidized so the tube of color was bad. So i spent an extra hour processing a second time and needing a second toner because of it. So $ 230, a simple cut and dye job that looks like it was a bad home dye job later i left without any «complimentary» services, a look i was very obviously not pleased with since everyone there kept trying to assure me it looked fine, and a pair of shoes ruined from the stylist somehow dripping dye on them i can confidently say i will never return here. Not sure how this place has 5 stars but my experience was everything but desirable.

Amazing hair stylist and make up artist. Had my eye brows done here also. It’s a little pricey for me but I don’t cut/​style my hair too often. I would definitely recommend this place.

Will be coming here for all of my waxing needs from now on! I’m surprised that I hadn’t come across this place sooner.
I usually go to Bellevue for all of my waxes, but I was in a bit of a hurry and found this place. I was able to get in within the same day and the staff was great. I was given a mini hand massage while waiting to be brought back.
The entire experience was super comfortable and not awkward at all. I made another appointment 3 weeks out, since they offer a 10−15% off your next visit when you do, so I definitely took advantage of that! Highly recommended!!! :)

They fit me in with only one hour notice. My hair was crazy wild and out of control. Renee did great. She offered a neck and shoulder massage and washed my hair. She got to cut about 8″ off. Did a great job with the style too. I don’t care for big styled hair and she definitely gave me a style I like. Everyone was very friendly.

I’ve had mixed experience with my hair in the past so when I saw a ton of good reviews for this place I decided I had to check it out.
I almost didn’t get my hair cut here, but the receptionist (who I didn’t get the name of, sorry!) actually inquired with one of the stylists if they could pencil me in. The rest is history!
The person who cut my hair was Shae, and I have to say that out of anyone who has ever styled my hair, I have never actually gotten this amount of feedback about my hair. That alone was worth this review because going to a place that is just snip-​snip-​done doesn’t always get the job done right.
On top of all of the feedback, I was treated to way more in my haircut than I was expecting (massage, hot towel, washing, etc) and the price was basically the same that I paid at anywhere else. I tipped large on this one and I don’t think I’ll be going to any other salons in the foreseeable future.

The best Aveda salon! The best customer service, the best hair cuts and color, and the best products (Aveda). Shae is my very talented hair stylist, and I trust her to cut and color it in exactly the right way. Kara is my very talented aesthetician — her brow waxes are gentle and precise. Everyone at the salon is friendly and welcoming, and I always feel relaxed when I leave!

Continues to give great costumer service. I have been with Shae for over 7 months. She remembers conversations and talks about things that are important to me.

Great salon! I get my hair cut by Dee every 4 weeks. She is always consistent with her work and walks me through the steps as I’m getting my hair cut. She is very gentle and gives a great scalp massage. The salon itself is very welcoming. I love that it is an Aveda salon, which makes the experience much better. I am always offered a beverage when I’m checked in. Every time I am being checked out they always make sure I have the products I need. Beware, the parking lot can get a little crazy but that’s because of the busy intersection. If you’re looking for a great salon in Tacoma, come here and ask for Dee!

I’m super picky since I’m a hairdresser myself but Deanna or Dee is the best. She listens and has a great sense of style which makes you at ease and you know you can relax and trust her. The salon itself is super cute and reasonable priced.

I had my 3^rd visit to the salon and every visit has been amazing. My cut and color is exactly how I wanted it. I highly recommend Kerstin she is very knowledgeable and really listens to what you want in a color and a cut. She is very professional and an expert!

Went here today for the first time. GREAT service! I called sort of last minute and was able to get in same day. I was greeted by a very friendly desk person and offered a drink. I had a spa service that was excellent! Cori did an awesome job and seemed very knowledgable. She is very nice and didn’t talk too much which is great during a relaxing treatment.
I’ve already prebooked and can’t wait to return!

OMG what service! Came here to fix a bad cut from another Aveda Salon in the Proctor District. What a pleasure — smiling faces on ALL the staff and a friendly welcome. Service included a scalp and shoulder massage, and a hand massage while the conditioner was on my hair. Kristin Walker was my stylist — she did exactly what a wanted and blew away my expectations with a precision, very short cut. She spent a full 2 hours getting the cut just right and showing me different ways to style my new short haircut. And did I mention that the prices are extremely reasonable? I found my new Aveda salon.

Wonderful new Aveda salon in the Tacoma Mall area. My stylist/​colorist, Kerstin, is wonderful and provides truly outstanding customer service. I met the owners and they are truly passionate about pleasing the customer. The Aveda color is vibrant and the Aveda products are outstanding. I am so impressed with this new salon. Try it. Soon.

New Salon. Really well-​done, classy salon next to Half Price Books. Absolutely best customer service I have seen at a salon. Took my 14 year-​old son for a haircut — which he HATES — since he is trying to grow his summer cut back out and stylist Stacey and owner Michael really worked with him to figure out what he wants and how to get there. Great style and cut without losing length! Even he is happy!
