They don’t answer the phone; they aren’t very courteous(not terrible, but not what you’d expect from a smaller business like this, but I only dealt with one guy). They don’t update you on the status of your repair. They tried to apply a 600% markup to a part I bought online the next day for less than $ 5 and told me it would take a week to get the part(I got it off the web in 4 days). The bench fee they charge if you don’t want them to repair your machine is over $ 50(in my case, at least), for less than half-an-hour of work. If you tell the guy you don’t want them to fix it(quoted me over $ 160 for a repair I did myself in less than an hour), he seemed to be annoyed. Also, the man tried(twice) to get me to hand over the password to my machine, even though the hardware problem(a broken power jack soldered to the motherboard), did not necessitate him having access to my files… Shady, shady, shady. Don’t go here. Find a friend who’s tech-savvy, watch some YouTube videos, anything. Just don’t bother with The Computer Hub Tacoma.

Handed me back my PC in December and it has limped along with fatal error reports, etc. also did not fix the hard drive properly and even after reloading shockplayer, etc… computer that once worked fine will not support flash drive viewing. Now it is frozen. I will be going elsewhere. I am concerned basic components have been removed

After My initial review I got my laptop home and the problem seemed to be fixed until I noticed my webcam was no longer working :(I took it back in and the only solution was to download some software from the website – I have never experienced a problem with my webcam until now! Needless to say I got the computer back home and the dreaded screen issue was back… took it back in(let me remind you this is the only reason I took my laptop in the first time). So it was going to cost another $ 200.00 and change to fix so all together I would have been giving them over 300.00 to fix this«1» issue. I opted to get another laptop. The only thing I’m upset with is that why wasn’t it fixed the first time? and why is at least half of what I paid the first time not getting applied to the new estimate!!! I talked to another computer repair shop and they said it all seems a little suspect. :(
