I have been here a couple times before but never ordered the curry. Today I tried the Chicken Red Curry lunch combo. It was delicious. I’m so happy I found good tasting curry in the area.

LOL, I love their name. It’s so original yet so confusing. «Thai Restaurant in fife? wait… which thai restaurant in fife?» Between Federal way(neighboring city) and Fife, I would say this is the second best Thai Restaurant around. The location of the restaurant is in a somewhat rundown-ish strip plaza. But do not judge a book by it’s cover, because inside you may find an amazing adventure. lol We walk in and were greeted with a lot of friendly smiles. almost… too many smiles :) :) :) :) 8) jk Thailand is known for its friendly people which was well reflected at dinner. We were being taken to our seats, and I asked the lady if we can sit by the door, but she was looking out for us saying that the breeze from the door will be uncomfortably cold and that we would be comfortable sitting in the location she brought us. +1 Menu looked good and had quite a bit of Thai food. My fiancé got the Pad Thai(as usual) and I ventured out to the TOMYUM soup. TOMYUM was QUITEYUM. I love the smell of Tom Yum — it brought me back to the when I visited Thailand before. It lived up to my expectations. Their portions doe… was…huge. I couldn’t finish the soup. I’m pretty sure it’s meant to be served family style. My fiancé got the pad thai. Pad thai, if made without ketchup, tastes great. If made with ketchup tastes like. well…ketchup. Don’t get me wrong, I love ketchup, but not ketchup pad thai. This one had a very very slight hint of ketchup. But after stealing about 10 – 13 fork-full servings from her plate, I thought it started tasting pretty good. At that point, I was convinced there was no ketchup. I enjoyed it. Overall, I like this restaurant. numerically… I would give it closer to 3.5 than 3 stars. Thank you Sincerely, James Lee

This is my favorite Thai place around. I have been in to dine as well as ordered carry out plenty of times. The pad kee mow and papaya salad are my favorites and all the curries I have tried have been delicious also. I’m a vegetarian and they have always been accommodating with tofu substitutions or leaving the small shrimp off of things so I don’t have to worry about biting into something I don’t like. The portions are large so I always have leftovers, which I love, and the wait staff is friendly and quick. I’ve tried a lot of Thai food and for me this is one of the best. I generally find when I ask for spicy, most places don’t make it very hot. However, when I asked for spicy on my papaya salad, I burnt my mouth! Don’t order spicy unless you really mean it :)

If you have food allergies don’t bother! They won’t do any substitutions minuses or changes of any kind. When I finally got my food it had probably 8 tablespoons of garlic. It was five star when I ordered three star. Chicken was over cooked and tough

I love their fresh spring salad rolls with peanut sauce. I could eat them every day. I come often even if to grab some salad rolls to go. I’ve had a few dishes that are delishes. Friendly staff, attentive. How ever, my friend and I came for lunch one day about month age. She requested No mushrooms in a dish. When we had to send it back, they picked the mushrooms out of the dish… the highly rated Pad kee mao… not that impressed with the dish.

Okay editing my review… Place is so slow. It’s so annoying. I’ve been waiting for 40 minutes for the lunch special. Shouldn’t that be fast? The guy was like oh it’s busy… Um the restaurant is not even half full… I have to be back at work in 15 minutes and haven’t even gotten my food. I’m annoyed… The guy’s excuse was that there was a new cook. He brought me a Thai iced tea to make up for it but I’m staying away from extra sugar so no thanks. Food is good but unorganized and super slow :(They seem to have enough staff. Maybe they should hire more competent people…

This is my go-to place for Thai food because I stop by on my way home after work. If I lived closer to the North end of Federal Way, I’d go to Kwan Tip Thai but I am on the South end so this place is sufficient. I am so so glad it exists because it is delicious. Their portions are HUGE. I swear it seems bigger when you do take out lol! I usually order either the papaya salad, pad thai, or panang curry. I’ve also ordered their crab cream cheese wontons. The papaya salad aka som tum is a regular for me. their spicy level I would say is one more up. So I started ordering just 1 star because 2 star was too spicy for me and I odn’t really want my salads spicy. If you’re unfamiliar with papaya salad, it is thinly julienned hard papayas(i think Green papayas?) with tomatoes, cabbage, and bunch of other goodness bursting in flavors! It’s one of my favorite thai dishes. I often order it as my main entrée. the only con about their papaya salad is that they don’t add the tiny dried shrimp, which I believe is a main part of som tum(I may be wrong, I am not Thai!). I know that some places just add real shrimp i they dont do the dried mini shrimp. but this restaurant has zero shrimp whatsoever. Their pad thai is great. lately I feel like it’s been a little more ‘orange’ than I like. By orange, I mean ketchup-ey. But still one of the better pad thai options in the area. I love to get it with pork or tofu. Their panang curry hits the spot! so delicious I have nothing but good things to say about their panag! The inside is spacious with lots of seating. very clean and open. Majority of the time I’m ordering take out so it doesn’t matter to me. I always call about 10 minutes ahead and it’s ready on time. I’ve never had to wait long. the lady, who I think is the owner, is super friendly. There is an elderly grandma that sits by the cash register picking bean sprouts or something everytime I come in to pickup my food. she is not very friendly but I think she is the family’s elder. I just smile, pick up my food, and go about my day :)

Not good at all. I’m just seriously confused. I’m just gonna plunge right into this, cuz it just all was weird. Our pad Thai was a strange icky bright orange color. I went through all the pictures that Unilocalers have taken and found just one that looked like ours. But the rest of the pad Thai pics were more the traditional brownish color. What I wish I had gotten. Also ours had no bean sprouts… or lime or peanuts. Just a slab of orange noodles with a sprinkle of green onions on top. It tasted bad as well. It was one, all over flavor. No depth, no crunch, no tender chicken slices, just all a one note, strangely tart, and bla plate. I should have taken a pic… Our pad kee mao was a handful of wide rice noodles, literally a few, like a half a cup cooked, with, gasp, baby corn?!? Wedges of soggy pink Tomatoes(ick), large chunks of green bell pepper, and seeds of some sort. Just what the??? I know drunken noodles(pad kee mao) can be technically anything… but come on… bottom of the barrel old veggies? No thanks! :( And my Thai iced tea was hecka sugary sweet. Why I love about Thai iced tea in the first place is that it’s not too sweet. I couldn’t even drink it. I don’t know how they made it so sweet. :( Our spring rolls were the frozen spring roll type you can buy at any Asian supermarket and bake or deep fry. Literally they taste exactly like the spring rolls from Panda Express. I dont even like to compare because PE is way better then this place… lol The service was bad, but I gathered it was because it was a busy weekday lunch… but idk. No smiles, or good vibes. They just splat our orange pad Thai and soggy veggie noodles in front of our faces and took off. No questions asked. Also, let me just say that little things are important to me. For instance, the place itself is supposed to be a mid scale Thai restaurant, so table service and wine glasses for water. Then why do they throw plastic spoons for serving their sauces at the table? It makes me feel that they really don’t care very much. I would understand plastic utensils at a food truck or a fast food«order at the counter» type of establishment. But this place… no… Makes me wonder what other shortcuts they are taking back in the kitchen…:(

Good food but you will be ignored. I stood in in line to place my to go order. However when the server decided my time wasn’t of value and took the order of the person behind me I left. No matter how good the food snotty servers suck.

I felt like my pad se ew was more vegetables than anything and to me there wasn’t much noodle. I don’t feel like we got what we paid for. I was hoping that this would be a great spot to eat at from all the reviews but I guess it just wasn’t for me. We also ordered spring rolls but I think the server got confused and gave us egg rolls instead. I know the difference between a spring roll and an egg roll, we didn’t get what we ordered. The vegetables egg rolls were pretty good with the dipping sauce that came with it. Just wish we got what we ordered and customer service was better.

Yummm! Picked up take out! Quick and friendly service. They even offered water while I waited. Food was delicious! I got pad kee mao and the asparagus specialty dish! Yummy. I got it medium hot, which was more like mild. So if u like it spicy, don’t do medium! Or u can always get extra chilli on the side to add as u go… Definitely going back!

Like most great hole in the wall gems, we stumbled upon this place purely by accident. It’s a quaint little restaurant right off of I-5. The peanut sauce noodles were so delicious, I’ve never had anything like that before. The pineapple curry is also my other favorite. There will inevitably be leftovers, as the servings are very generous. They have a great selection of spices which can be brought out on a small rack for those that are feeling adventurous. The service is prompt once you walk through the door. I’ve never once asked for a refill as the attentive staff kept our glasses full, definitely a huge plus in my book.

After reading some of the Unilocal reviews for this establishment and decided to try it. I did a take out order of Pad See Ew with chicken and 3 star level. The person on the other end sounded really kind and she mentions how it would only took 5 – 10 mins. Surely enough, it did only take 8 – 10 mins. When I went in, the same person on the phone greeted me with a smile and just made the experience a lot more better. As I got home to devour the deliciousness, I tried to stop myself to take a picture but ate two bites. I have had Pad See Ew in a couple places but this wasn’t the worse, but not the best either. It tasted pretty bland and the method of how they spice up their food isn’t the best. It actually wasn’t spicy either. However the vegetables were fresh and plentiful, which is hard to come by. The price also was not too bad either, compared to other Thai places. I definitely wanna try their Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai next!

Never thought this place would be any good considering the generic name. Don’t judge a book by its cover… The customer service in this family owned restaurant is special. From the great grandparents hand picking apart cilantro leaves at the table next to me, the extremely friendly and funny«mother» of the establishment, to the polite, informative and speedy«son» who waits tables, this place is a gem. But that’s all just a bonus. Everything i have eaten their is fantastic. I’m a meat person, but their vegetable pad kee mao and pad see ew are great even without meat. Totally satisfying to this carnivore. My other favorites are the ginger prawns, crispy chicken and all of their curry dishes. It’s a weekly must for me and my family. Thanks for bringing good thai food to fife.

Popped in for a quick dinner on our drive back to Portland and were delighted with our Pad See Ew. It was made fresh, fast and served still steaming to our table. If you want true delicious Thai food you will not be disappointed, we will definitely be back next time we are driving through.

Fife has a surprising number of great Thai(& teriyaki) restaurants and this place is definitely one of them! The portions are big and the food is DELICIOUS. Best duck curry around, and their Phad Thai is stellar. Be prepared for them to be super busy during lunch time especially. Even with a packed house though, the staff is friendly and works with a sense of urgency for each party. Parking lot can be a mess but it’s worth it to walk from a spot down the way!

This place used to have much better service. Recently they have been showing up to tables with the wrong food and the wait staff always seem to be confused. They don’t split the bill anymore for some reason and when you ask they just tell you to go up to the front and pay. Today I ordered what I always order, peanut sauce noodles, and it showed up with literally no noodles, just tofu and lettuce mostly with sauce. I told the waitress there wasn’t any noodles on the plate. and came back to say I had to pay $ 1.50 for more noodles… Okay? she also said that it was her boss’ decision so if I wanted to I could go to the back and talk to him… Okay? Anyway, like I said the service and quality has gone down. We will now be going to a different thai place, probably one in Federal Way for lunch. Rude.

I’ve been here a few times now since I have moved to the Fife area for temporary purposes. I love thai and the one I have been going to for years is a bit too far. I tried out their Pad See Ew first, I usually get 3 stars not because I am a wimp for spice but I like to savour the flavors of each dish and have a little kick to it as well. Now, it was a bit spicy, the tofu is not really the fluffiest(I usually like them fluffy) and when I ordered it, I decided to go up a star and make it 4 stars. I was horribly regretting it though not because it was too spicy or their food was horrible. More like, I’m a very picky eater and I dislike seeds in my food. The higher ranking of stars you go, seems like the more seeds you get. I could barely eat it without spitting seeds into my napkin(sorry if that is TMI). Just expressing my feels for this restaurant like any other place I review. Since I usually eat Thai food with my sister, she always orders the Pad Thai. It was good! I’m super picky about Pad Thai as well because most places are a bit… nauseating? Don’t get me wrong though, I LOVETHAIFOOD. Seriously one of my top 3 cuisines. This place, was perfect! I could actually end up eating her whole plate if I wanted to. Usually I just take a forkful when we go out to Thai. Just recently, she was craving extra spice so she ordered the 5 stars and I knew what to expect. A mouthful of seeds. Otherwise, I saved the best for last. THEIRPINEAPPLEFRIEDRICE! AHHHHHH. Too good, I don’t know if it can beat my #1 favorite place with their Pineapple Fried Rice but this one is just as GOOD! Two different tastes though, the one I am used to has cashews and curry flavor while this place is more of a «grilled» flavor which I fell in love with the first time around! I have to ask for no tomatoes and onions which isn’t a big deal. I like my fried rice a certain way. All in all, we love coming back here and the price is affordable, the ladies are nice and it’s good!

Basic thai. Fair prices, moderate portions. We were seated promptly and given enough time to look over the menus to make our choices. The food was relatively swift to arrive at our table. Phad thai was edible, but not anything to write home about. The flavor was a bit on the sweet side and one dimensional. The dish lacked character and was NOT accompanied by garnish, a must. The crushed peanuts were mixed into the noodles. The menu had many variations of classic thai dishes to choose from. My hubby and I always get phad thai the first time trying a new thai restaurant. It’s our way of judging. The ambience was less than mediocre. Tiny strip mall in the industrial casino laden area of fife. Neon lights from the bingo hall were glaring in through the window as semi trucks whisked by. One thing to note: the spicy rating system was flawed. I ordered a spicy rating 3. It was very mild. Someone else in our party ordered a 2 and that dish was extremely spicy. My aunt had this same problem when she dined here. Bazaar. It wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.
