Very friendly service. I was approached immediately and asked if I needed any help finding a specific type of shoe. I told them what I needed and they immediately found exactly the shoe I needed. Again the staff was helpful and friendly and got me in and out in a timely manner

3.5 stars really for the friendly service, but this is a small Payless! I wear a 7 or 7.5 so there usually is a huge selection. While compared to the other sizes there was a big selection, not quite up to par. I did find some cute shoes and with the BOGO deal I got out the door for $ 70. One pair that I loved was missing its mate and despite getting the girl to help, we never found it and it was the only pair in my size. Parking lot was busy with Target next door, but there are plenty of spots. I’d come here again if I was in the area, but with realistic expectations.

Payless Shoes — if you’ve been in one Payless store, you kind of know what you’re likely to encounter. Or so I thought. I wear a large shoe size(11E in women’s — that’s a standard men’s size 9 or 9.5) and have trouble finding shoes. Imagine my surprise when I’m stumbling around in that one-heel-on-one-heel-off way you do when trying on discount shoes and my child hands me a women’s size *eighteen* shoe he found on the rack. They have women’s shoes mixed in to the men’s section for sizes larger than a women’s 12 — and they’re cute! Heels and sandals and everything else, not just frumpy low-wide-heel monstrosities. Service here has consistently over a few years been a little more polite than many other Payless stores I’ve been in. Employees will actually help you look for another size or color and the store inventory seems to be mostly correct. So, take those boxes or boats off of your feet, wash ‘em up a bit and go pick up some $ 20 heels!
