Parkland Auto Center

I bought a 2007 Lexus IS250 exactly two weeks ago, March 28^th, from Parkland Auto. The day after (March 29^th) the check engine light, the triangle light, and the VSC (vehicle skid control) light came one as well as the screen said «check VSC.» I live about 45 minutes away, but I don’t mind the drive so I took it back to the dealership and they sent me to 14 611 C St, their repair & maintenance shop to get it looked at. The guys there plugged the OBD (on board diagnostics) computer into the car and after reading the codes that popped up, cleared them and told me everything was ok. Well, the lights came back on Saturday April 9^th, so I took it to my local shop and they told me I need a new $ 4000 transmission. Moral of story — don’t buy from these people unless you want a huge repair bill with your new car.

My girlfriend bought a car about a week ago, maintance req light came on day after we got it, took it back and they said they fixed the issues, a week later the light comes back on and we find out we need a new transmison and they arent willing to take the car back or even replace the transmission, SCUMBAGS is all i can say about these guys, they will take advantage of you.

zero stars for this worthless untrustworthy dealership. I was sold a lemon and they basically said oh well its your problem. their mechanic has had it 3 times in the past month and now it wont even turn over to start. I already filed complaints with dmv investigations and with the attorney general. do not go here whats so ever. worst place I have ever dealt with in my life!

Looked at a car at this dealership. Since my drive was going to be a long one I called ahead to convince me that it may be worth my wild. I had seen the car listed on their website as just arrived. There was no picture. The salesman said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle. When I arrived that wasn’t the case. A dent on the hood, a busted headlight, an interior that I would give a 5 out of 10, and a cracked windshield and four tires that none of them matched. That wasn’t what I wanted to see. The reserve coolant was clean and when I started the car you could hear the water surging through the system. Drove it down the block and said forget it. A big waste of my day.

If I could give them negative 5 stars, I would. If you can go to any other possible used car place, run!
These guys are idiots. My boyfriend has credit issues and we went in there to see what they could do for him. Somehow they were able to weasel a loan up for him if he could come up with $ 2500 down on a $ 5k Honda accord. We finally talked them down to $ 1000 down with two installments. They couldnt give us a straight answer on how long the loan was. I went up on bf’s behalf and made the payment early cuz he had just started a new job. The finance guy reamed me for telling the loan company that we hadn’t made the down payment yet. Cuz he wouldn’t get his money from the loan company until the down payment was made. Then proceeded to ream me for my bf getting a new job. He was irritated that I interrupted what he was doing to write a receipt for me. Then we came up there and made the other payment early and they called me at the end of the day on 8÷31÷15 and left me a rude message about not paying them. I was livid. Bf called back and argued with them for 20 minutes before they decided to go find the receipt book and see that we made the payment. Friday 9÷18÷15 he calls to see if the license plates are in. The idiot said they aren’t here and said arrogantly that we will call you when they are. The temp registration expires tomorrow (9÷21÷15) and we just called again and got another rude a**hole telling us the plates are in and hung up on us. Never again. I will make sure to tell everyone to avoid this place like the plague.

I have had a very negative experience with Parkland Auto Center, and as a result of their fraudulent and deceitful practices I’ve lost a lot of money. Parkland Auto Center had sold us a broken car (with attempted cover-​up alas inspection revealed it all) and non-​existing contract service for $ 2500. Now we have a broken car, loan payments and $ 2500 worth of nothing.
I have done a lot of legwork and research and found out there’s quite a lot of people who has had similar experiences with Parkland Auto Center.

I am stationed here at JBLM, with the 2 – 2 SBCT, 1 – 17 IN with the S2 shop, I add that so you will have no problem looking me up. This dealership screwed me royally. They lied about my consignment and lied to me about the truck I purchased from them. I told them I needed the truck to transport a disabled family member and they still screwed me. They can care less about servicemen and or their families. I would NEVER tell anyone to come here and if they need facts or proof I have everything still. I had to hire a lawyer and everything!

Worse service. Rude sales men. Lied about prices to pocket funds. Unorganized. Not professional.

This place is really bad we come here to buy a car we sign everything and then they ask they asked to money down payment to get the car finches the car after we DONE everything they changed the down payment again THEY asked more money otherwise they don’t let go the car as we sign before. They played games wasting time people. I’M WARRING TO ANYONE HOE HAD A BAD CREDIT TRY TO BUY A CAR FROM THEM TO BUILD THERE CREDITS IT’S A LIE, all the cars there you better much all the VIN NUMBERS Because this guy’s selling a car with a lot of problems if you don’t have any idea about cars make sure you have a mechanic with you otherwise you gonna be victim of Freud. WARRING WARRING WARRING THIS PLACE IS THE WORST IN TOWN, CAUSE I WAS A VICTIM I DON’T WANT ANYONE BODY HAPPENED TO WHAT HAPPENED TO ME.

First of all, this review has NOTHING to do with the car I purchased at Parkland Auto Center. I actually love my car, and there have been no issues. However, the staff is another story altogether. First, the day I purchased my car from Parkland Auto Center, they lost my license. Here I was with a brand new car, but no license to drive it. Additionally, several people we dealt with were unprofessional, cursing, etc. They were EXTREMELY pushy. Luckily, I found a car that I loved and so the pushiness wasn’t an issue since I had already decided to purchase. I asked the same question about 10 times «How many months will my loan be for?» To multiple people. I told them I wanted to hear that information before signing anything, but they kept putting me off until I finally met with the finance person who was finally able to answer my question. I realize this is his realm, but I should have been given ALL of the information before deciding to proceed. Other issues: When I was approved the manager «selected» a car for me. A complete piece of shit Hyundai Sonata with a knock in the engine. I quickly told them that I wasn’t interested in any cars with any noises or issues. I also told them I could not afford a down payment, but could easily make monthly payments. I had a 2000 ford ranger I wished to use as a downpayment. I was assured my vehicle could be used as a down payment. After sitting for nearly 2 hours they advised I would have a $ 2500 down payment. When I told them this was absolutely not an option and I got ready to stand up and leave, my sales person (Travis) went to inquire with his manager about other options. Eventually, after about 3 – 4 go betweens they lowered the down-​payment to 1000 $ and increased my trade in value. This was appreciated. Had all the bad shit not happened that day, and the issue I am about to get to not happened, this review would be much more favorable. So, I finally go to sign paperwork with the financial person and get ready to drive away with my car when I realize I still haven’t got my license back. They search for it for about 30 minutes, since my sales person had left for the day. Finally the manager told me he would call me the next day when they had it available. My salesperson had left the lot with my drivers license and I was able to go in the next day to get it. It was a major inconvenience, but at that point I still would have probably given a 3 star rating, with the only downsides being the pushiness, them trying to push a shitty car off on me, and the lack of professionalism. I was that happy with the final result of me driving out with a decent car that I really liked. Parkland Auto Center paid my initial down payment of 1000 $ and I signed a contract that I would come in and pay them back on my next payday (Today). I called Friday and let the guy know I would be in around 2pm today to pay the downpayment. I took a half day at work so I could get my finances in line to pay them the $ 1000. However, instead of being able to go in and pay them, they ran my card for the $ 1000 first thing this morning leaving me completely broke. I realize I owed them the money, but the bottom line is I called specifically to state I would be in today after work to pay it, and I was assured that would be fine, in fact the last thing the guy said was «Okay, I’ll see you Monday then.» All in all a horrible experience, and I would not suggest anyone else bring them their business. I’m glad that my direct dealings with this shitty ass dealership are over, and that I am not just dealing with Wells Fargo Dealer Services instead.

Won’t be buying here again. We have purchased here in the past, it was fine. Today, we called with a very specific question for the finance department, was planning on financing two cars (had they been more helpful and less pushy they might have gotten this information and been more helpful) but right off the bat they were asking a zillion questions and would not transfer my call without promising them my first born apparently. We just hung up. If that’s how they are with a simple question on the phone then I couldn’t imagine how horrible it would be actually buying anything.

I wish I could give this place a zero. I went in there in October of last year with my ex. Got pressured into co signing a vehicle by LB. My ex destroyed my credit by me co signing for a vehicle that got repossessed. They are high pressure and very manipulative. They couldn’t even tell me the right lendor name since they switched it so many times.

Good things Lloyd did a good job with the deal. Now the bad… we pulled in with my wifes 08 Ram they were like vultures circling had to tell them its not a trade in. I had gone in for a very specific car they had well they had two magnums on the lot and I was looking to test drive the R/​T Lloyd starts coming out with the keys for SE told him thats nor the car I’m looking for and I start hrading for the one that is R/​T took it for a spin liked it went in he threw some numbers at me said not gonna work throw a crazy number back just so got an out well he comes back with a way lower number and a great rate. I ask him can he throw a tank of gas in since its dead empty gives me some excuse about the guy who handles that is not around. Didn’t even wash the car or anything else. They take lousy care of the cars they are selling so beware mine was low on anitfreeze, transmission fluid and one tire had low pressure SO BEWARE WHEN YOU GO TO THIS DEALER ALL THEY DO IS SLAP A STICKER ON THE WINDSHIELD. Thankfully when I checked under the car there was no evidence of covered up collision damage or other shady tricks on my car.

0 star. This place sucks. «The boss» screams at customers, they have absolutely NO customer service what so ever. They try to fuck you out of deals and sell you cars with MULTIPLE issues. My GF and I went were there for 8 hours!!! Just for them to be idiots and say we were fraudulent because THEY entered the info wrong. Then said they couldnt help us. Everyone had a differnt story, the back office is just a complete hangout video games and bar. No wonder they have shitty service. Went to a nother used place and guess what parkland they WANTED to finance me in a 25,000 $ car? So who is fraudulent now stupid fucks. Oh and also that «darius» guy that has one okay review. I am not sure how because its been a week and a half since we went and signed paperwork that all out info would be shredded yet I got a phone call on my PERSONAL phone number TODAY, that I NEVER gave him. Disgusting.
