What a great store! I can’t believe they only charge .99 for hot fresh baked peroshky’s. I ordered both potato/onion and cabbage. They were equally delicious. I also picked up some gourmet beet horseradish which is out of this world. They have great selection of exotic and hard to find Russian and Polish foods. Store is super clean and staff are super friendly.

I walked in here one day out of curiosity, and am glad I did! I’ve never been to a Russian grocery store before. They have pieroshkis for a dollar here, which are great. I wish they could heat it up for you though. I have yet to try the meals here. They often have samples too. They also have tables and chairs so you can sit and eat, which is nice. My favorite part of the store though is the candy aisle. They have bulk chocolate and candies so you can try a bunch which is cheaper than buying candy bars. If you don’t read Russian, a little tip: the $ 4.99 chocolates are mostly wafers, while some of the $ 5.99 chocolates have a marshmallow filling(which I didn’t enjoy, personally). They also have ice cream which I definitely need to try sometime. Oh, and they play Christian music here, so I guess the owners are Christian?

Wonderful bakery and supermarket. Friendly staff. Clean, inexpensive, delish. The bakery has pastries like eclairs, coconut snowballs, tiramisu, nut rum balls and they were delicious. About 2 bucks each, on average. The deli has piroshky, and fantastic chicken belyashi(yummy dumpling filling of chicken and onion, wrapped in fried dough), all for 1 – 2 bucks each. There are tables outdoors to eat at, and a small section inside.

What a hidden gem! I’ve driven past plenty of times, but never bothered to stop in til recently. Snacks galore! I found my favorite Kinder Country and the price wasn’t too bad considering it is imported. They also have a hot deli with piroshkys and other goodies. One of the lady who works behind the counter was extremely sweet and kind of gave me the low down of what is what in the display cases. They also have free samples!

This place is great! The staff at the deli are so nice. Very friendly, and the prices are awesome. The food is delicious, and the meatballs with the cheesy gravy are probably my favorite item. Highly recommend!

The store that has a restaurant inside with fresh Russian food cooked right away. Fresh hot and delicious if your not counting the calories. The borsch(Russian soup) is the good stuff and you cant go wrong with the fresh bread coming out of the oven. The bulochki are also the bomb but only available after 11 am. Fruit and vegie prices are unbeatable.

This place is clean. The people working here are very nice and helpful. Always a pleasant experience going into this store. Ask a question and you are helped immediately. The fruit and vegetables are well kept and the deli is a great experience. Old world style within modern facilities. We don’t want to brag to much about our local store. We don’t want to give away this hidden treasure.

Got chicken peroshki and a cappuccino cup from the bakery. The peroshki was amazing! I ate both of them before I got home. I picked the cappuccino cup just based on that it looked fancy. It was like a mini tiramisu, so good!

What a hidden gem! No, literally! This is a wonderful Russian market located right off the main street beyond its gated area. The market entrance is to the right of the store front(note: they have a reception hall available for events, how convenient!). Once you enter the café/bakery is to your left and front checkout on your right. It’s a very clean and amazing market! They have a wonderful variety of Russian foods and snacks. They have everything from candy/snacks, beverages, cakes, bread, pastries, meat/seafood, and produce. I’ve noticed that they sell several items that are local as well such as butter, milk, and produce. Prices are good too! I’ve yet to try their hot foods because I visited closer to the evening. So I look forward to returning soon for their Piroshky/Piroshki :) Definitely recommend this place, you don’t need to know Russian, they have their shelves labeled in English and a lot of their products also have an English label as far as nutrition and ingredients!!! Piece of cake.

I like the variety of products available here and the staff at the Bakery & Deli section are friendly and helpful. Each time we ask for the recommendation of products they always provided us with excellent choices! We will be back often! The cashiers are not always immediately available and not as friendly or helpful as the staff at the bakery or deli. And there is a fee for making a purchase with credit or debit card. To avoid card fee plan on spending $ 5 or more during your visit. P.S, Go the Tacoma location.

this is as close as we could get here to an Italian deli for cold cuts, the girls here are always friendly, and helpful they recently started to add more produce and I like it, if you like the piroshky the fried is better than the baked for my taste and if you like chocolates HOMYGOOD, they have such a variety of the best I have had. try the beef sticks and the smoked salmon.

I was hit hard with a Piroshky craving like the ones grandma makes. Especially the meat filled ones! After asking some Ukrainian friends where to go I was pointed to this shop and was eagerly driven there on my lunch break. The store is super clean and the food cases were filled with amazingly good looking food. I had no idea this was a Russian grocery store when I looked at it from the outside. My friend pointed out the candy section and I think I gained weight just by looking at it! I knew I wanted a Piroshky and they asked if I wanted it baked or fried. I chose baked because that’s how I had them growing up. It was suggested by my friend that I try a Belyashi with chicken. Glad I took his advice! The Piroshky was freshly baked and the meat filling was good. I think it needed more potatoes. The outer bread part was soft and chewy. Belyashi? This was more flavorful and the meat had more flavor as well. The only draw back was the oily nature of this mammoth piece of fried dough. I will definitely be back. There’s so much to explore here. I’m also happy to see there is another location in Auburn, which means it’s closer to home! Prices are reasonable as well. $ 0.99 for piroshki $ 1.50 for belyashi $ 4.99 lb for hot foods. I was full on $ 2.50 worth of food, now that’s a hell of a deal.

I’m absolutely thrilled to finally have a gourmet food store that specializes in all kinds of European foods and gourmet bakery items. This place has an extensive selection of bakery items both sweet and savory, a lavish spread of fish(fresh and cured), assorted meats(fresh, cured), cheeses, head cheeses, fresh fruit and veggies at amazing prices, frozen goodies, strudels, pastries, a hot bar of homemade European goodies like cabbage rolls and borsht. They also carry an extensive selection of dry goods as well as other pantry staples. The staff here is super friendly, and are more than willing to help in any way they can even to the point of offering samples. Samples you say? Don’t mind if I do! They also had free samples of one of their roll cakes, something with gooey caramel in the middle… and it was divine! This place is a wonderland, and brings back so many fond memories. I will be back!!!

Marvel Food and Deli is a Russian and Eastern European grocery store. I did not have the opportunity to go to such a place back in Colorado and so the experience was new and fresh to me! As you would expect most of the labels on the groceries are Russian brands. Upon closer inspection when you examine certain items some of the Russian equivalent is not so different from an American version. Like ice cream sandwiches or cookies for example. They have an impressive selection of dried fish in their deli, something I have not quite seen before. What really seals the deal and makes Marvel so good is that there is a section at the front of the store where you can get pastries. Cakes, cabbage, beef and potato stuffed pastries are available for your hungry tummy! They also have a salad case which consisted of several different mushroom salads, tomato and carrot salads and pickles. They have a hot case as well with something like quinua or rice with several different toppings to put on it. Meatballs, vegetables and others were the selections you could pick from. They have stuffed red peppers and more! I got the meatballs with quinua and a mushroom salad and pickles. The hot dish was delicious which had spices and flavors which were new and instantly infectious to me! The salad tasted much like a potato salad but with mushrooms and the pickles were wonderfully fresh and crisp! I topped my meal off with a wonderful plum drink! Because the food was served deli style for your convenience there is seating around the corner from the main register. From what I am told the deli where the hot dishes and salads are changes so you will probably get something new everytime. The pastry selection stays pretty much the same. You can’t beat the deli prices here! For several food selections on two plates and two drinks it came in around twelve dollars! Everyone that worked here was friendly, helpful, cheerful and so patient with Steve and I since we are clearly out of our cultural element here. I am sooooooo coming back here! I want to become a regular!
