Horrible experience! From the cashiers to the«fresh baked bread» never going back, I called to give a complaint and wasn’t even given a chance to talk I had to yell over this Rude woman on the phone! My telera bread was moldy, oh and make sure you buy all your products on one transaction if you pay with debit card because they charge per transaction and they claim to have a sign which I have never seen. Just bad experience never returning!

Called at 10:30pm to see if they were open late. They said they are open until 11:55pm. On the window it says midnight. We get there… and their doors are locked and they are cleaning up. Never coming back. How do you give zero stars?

I guess when I ordered my steak fajitas I was expecting something like what every other restaurants offer. You have to pay extra for sour cream, guacamole and you only get 3 tortillas. The steak was terrible and over cooked. The only thing I enjoyed was the coke. I will not be back.

Man. Overpriced, tiny plates of bland food. And no picadillo? Totally disappointed, not what I was hoping for at all.

I ordered the Huevos Charros. The beans, though I’m use to eating beans for breakfast, I don’t remember the last time I had Charros for breakfast. Anyhow, this beans are special. It’s a fully loaded meat lovers beans. They come with ham, chorizo, bacon and onions. Interested concept. Order over medium eggs, and corn tortillas. Hand made. The dish also comes with rice, aka mexican rice, and a side of pork in green salsa. Oh and with a string of cilantro for garnish. Ha. You also get a side of tortilla chips so ion can enjoy with the 6 different options of salsa if you choose, while you wait.

Was not expecting this place to be as legit as it was, had to get my windshield replaced next door and decided to try it, I’m from Los Angeles and am very spoiled when it comes to Mexican restaurants, this place made me feel like home for sure, their horchata is legit down to the small ground up grains of rice and cinnamon sticks at the bottom, their tacos are good and their salsas are better, definitely will be going here again soon! Not to mention the fact that they have a legit panaderia, I was lucky enough to get there right when they pulled the bread out! Very yummy.

Decided i had to fill my Mexican food craving and had not been to Los Amigos. Mexicans in a Mexican restaurant is always a good sign. I had Huevos con Chorizo for Lunch and found it flavorful. Not as big a portion as most Mexican restaurants but an ample salsa bar, with great pico de galla and japalenos. The flour totillas we likely made on location. Parking lot was filthy but the bathrooms were very clean. The also have a small tienda on the store for hispanic food products. I plan on returning for the Menudo.

I eat here about once a month for the past two years. It is Sonoran home cooking style. So if you are used to Mexico City style restaurants(typical Mexican restaurants), you may need to give this a few tries. There is a relish bar complete with, Hot Pickled Carrots, Jalapenos, Radishes, 4 or 5 different salsas. They have very good soups(Posole, albondigas, menudo, etc, Every day of the week, not just weekends. The single Burrito is huge for about $ 6. The other traditional plates are great as well. Plenty of seating and they are open til midnight, ever day, which is unique for Tacoma. The staff is always friendly, although the language barrier sometimes makes things a bit clumsy. Over is one of my favorite Mexican establishments.

Best for authentic Mexican food and grocery! They have all the supplies for a traditional Mexican cuisine! I don’t go there to eat, rather to buy all the ingredients needed to cook everything at home. Go back to the butcher counter and order the thin sliced chuck steak with their house made marinade. Simply the best. Better than anything Seattle has to offer…

The food is great here, but I prefer one more place over this. The birria is delicious and always tender, it’s my go-to meat choice. What I LOVE about this place is that it’s open until midnight, so it’s perfect for late dinner or late-night cravings,.

Was driving down Tacoma Way and ran across Los Amigos Carniceria/Taqueria. Immediately decided to have lunch. We had a wonderful Menudo that brought back many fond memories from my Twenties of eating it Sunday mornings to cure hangovers. The Tripe was soft and properly stewed and they even included a Pork Hock in the soup. Most Taquerias keep their Carnitas and Lengua on the steam table so they are a bit soggy. Los Amigos served their Carnitas crispy and their Lengua grilled so the Tacos had a depth of flavor and aroma that steam table meats lack. The Pico de Gallo from the self-serve condiment bar was really good and the Taco Chips were very crisp. The floor, tables and bathroom were very clean. They have an extensive Breakfast and Lunch menu which includes Hamburgers and Pancakes so those who do not want Mexican food can be served. It is open until 12 Midnight. And the restaurant is joined with a Mexican grocery and panaderia so after lunch we bought Mexican pastries and spices. We definitely will be back.

I have been to this place twice and I have really enjoyed both experiences. The service is very friendly. The food is always done well and is pretty fast. I am in love with the orange juice. I know that may sound like a funny thing to focus on but it is so fresh! When you order in, you get your OJ in a giant margarita glass, and when you order out they give you an equally large portion. The food is good of course. They have a wide variety and also serve breakfast, which I am hoping to try soon. I had Chile Relleno for the first time here and I will definately have it again.
