Frozen veggies from a bag, icky bathroom. they stayed open late for us but I wasn’t impressed and won’t be going back. Also, pretty expensive for what we got, could have been better spent elsewhere.

Disappointing. We just moved here from Spokane and were told to try this place by a local merchant. My husband had the steak special mid rare. It came medium but he didn’t send it back. I ordered the shrimp fettucine. Couldn’t eat it. It was swimming with sauce and was more like soup. I expressed my disdain to the waitress and she took a whole $ 2 off our bill. Won’t go back

Ok, since my original review I have eaten in the restaurant and i do not recommend it. I would mauch rather eat in the bar. None of our food was that warm or that good. They brough us water glasses and and asked us what we wanted to drink and my boyfriend said he just wanted water and so she took his normal size water glass and brough pack a plastic kid’s cup… what?! Waitress was pretty rude on top of it and never smiled. Took forever to get our check.

Let me start by acknowledging this IS a dive bar… but I don’t even wanna give this place 1 star. It’s filthy, really stinks due to never getting updated, and the bathrooms are worse than honey buckets. The bar side is where I sat… I’m here for pool league and that’s the only reason I’d ever come here, because I have to. The bartender saw me wave her over 5 times and continually ignored us. Empty glasses in front of everyone… serving tables right next to us. We had already ordered beers prior so there’s clearly a reason to come back to our table since we’re here 3 – 4 hrs. We’re the type of people that drink plenty, and eat at every bar. So much for that revenue because I’m too scared to order food, and too pissed to order anymore drinks. This place needs to be shut down for cleanliness anyway.

This place is awesome! My husband and I went here while we were waiting to have his car aligned at the Firestone across the street, and we were pleasantly surprised! The décor is 80’s-esque, but we liked it! Simple, not too complicated, homey, and no irritating, loud, obnoxious music(like at Buffalo Wild Wings, for example). It was like a good old boys kind of feel, which is super hard to find nowadays. The waitresses were great– they are really attentive without being annoying, are fast, and talk to you like they’ve known you for years. My husband got the Krickett’s Special Sandwhich and ended up taking half of it home with him! It’s a triple-decker, comes with a TON of fries/tots/etc., and tastes amazing! I got the chicken-fried steak and honestly, it was the best one I’ve ever had. True diner style. It came with fries(or tots, or a baked potato), a salad(or soup), and a serving of veggies. I had another meal for later, too :). The portions were enormous, which was great! The prices were good, too. The salad was nothing really special, but I love salad(seriously, I eat it once a day at least), and it was one of the freshest I’ve had at any restaurant, which is a huge deal for me(can’t stand wilty lettuce). They also give you a good amount of dressing so you can actually eat the whole salad– no skimpy portions here! While we were leaving, we saw another couple get two plates of spaghetti and they were piled high! We will definitely going back for that, and we want to try breakfast, too. Overall, one of the best diner-style restaurants in the area. WAY better than the Hangar Inn, and the service is great.

This place sucks. Good luck getting a beer in there on the day shift unless you are a regular. Set for 10 minutes while the bartender was out smoking knowing I was there. Finally got up and left. I’ll tell everyone I know that this is not a place to go.

Lounge: We spent Halloween night here a few years ago to celebrate my cousin’s 21st birthday. We had a GREAT time! Good music and Jell-O shots. The drinks were strong and our bill wasn’t bad(which is one of the best things about drinking in Parkland). I love dive bars and we were not disappointed! Very 1980’s comfortable décor! We’ll have to go back some time! Restaurant: my Grandfather likes their lunch fare. Menu is standard American but has all the classics that people would like

A decent American style family restaurant. Parking is not that big of a issue, it has its own lot. When you enter you can see the décor, and it feels like you have been transported to the 80’s or something. Food is standard american fare, nice appetizer menu, 4 – 5 different kinds of salads, Sandwiches, burgers, steak and some pasta options. I went for the hawaiin chicken burger, It was pretty tasty, really love the pineapple and how the different tastes clash against the teriyaki sauce. The garden salad was basically the salad in those ready to go bags(iceburg lettuce, some shredded carrots) On the other side of the building they have a very large lounge, 2 pool tables, lots of seating and pull tabs. So this would be a great place to grab dinner and shoot some pool afterwards. Its a 3 star, but gets 1 extra star for also having a pool table.
