By God, this is single-​handedly the reason I’ve moved 800 miles from Illinois to Syracuse, New York. As it reveals itself to you from behind the monstrosity, they call Tipperary Hill, you will be astonished by its beauty. Try not to cry at its magnificence.

This is a remarkable traffic light. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll feel young again.
I do recommend that, when gazing upon the greatness of this traffic light, you are not standing directly underneath, as vehicles occasionally traverse Tompkins and/​or Milton

The upside down stoplight was everything I dreamed about and so much more!!! I included a picture and it is funny how when you mention it to locals, they are very familiar with it… good times!
BTW I was visiting on business and stopped in to some local businesses for a hair cut and had to drive to see if this was for real and it was!

Its a Traffic Light with the green on top. Great if you’re Irish, dangerous if you’re colorblind, and a tourist attraction if you’re Syracuse.
