Upon posting my first review, the business owner apparently read it and so had his staff contact me last week(I believe her name was Debbie, but I could be wrong). She was very pleasant and apologetic, asking me if I could explain my grievances, so I told her exactly what I laid out in the initial review. She apologized and said that she would pass along the information to the owner, and I even gave them the number of another landscaper who ended up coming by to fix THEIR job, while doing more landscaping on my property. I mentioned that I am very familiar with landscaping through my background and friends, and that the standard of what is considered GOOD is that you would place between 2 ½−3″ of new mulch down, which would certainly be worth $ 1,500. I was told that their standard was 1″…that is what is known as a DUSTING in the industry and is done as a cosmetic job. It was NOT worth $ 1,500 in product and effort, and to be fair, I priced around for the square footage… FOURDIFFERENTLANDSCAPINGBUSINESSESLAUGHEDANDSAID I WASRIPPEDOFF, and only two were local! To this day since our talk, they have not reached out to the landscaper I provided as a professional contact, nor has anyone tried to rectify and make things right now that they made me aware of their knowledge of my dissatisfaction. They may do a fine job with things like mowing and what you cannot cover up, but in my case, they cut corners, I researched the price for what I was billed and what they said they would do(it’s written on my bill too), and nobody has done anything… not even a simple call and apology from the owner. He had his secretary call. Horrible service on his part and I would never go back nor could I ever recommend this place, sadly, as I would have used them to mow my lawn and do further work. Since, I’ve spent $ 10,000 in landscaping elsewhere.
