If you want soggy undercooked fries, dry chicken, poor customer service, and slow delivery this would be the place to go! Waste of money.

Going on two hours and my order still hasn’t been delivered. I understand being busy but this is ridiculous.

NEVERGOTINTHERESTAURANT! After parking in the lot, the owner came out and told me I couldn’t park there, it was for his drivers. I said, «if you want me to move just say so», and he told me not to get snippy with him. He said I could stay or be a F$#%ING A$$ and not move. this would have been mine and my wife’s second time in his place. We thought we’d give it one more try after the underwhelming experience we had the first time. Their signature item — the chicken wings — have only one thing special about them… the price. As in, they’re overpriced. The texture and taste compare to the old Quaker Steak and Lube, or maybe even Buffalo Wild Wings. Except BWW had more choices and better sauces. You can get much better wings at The Clam Bar. Yes, you read that correctly — the Tequila Chili Lime chicken wings at The Clam Bar are some of the best in the city. The dry rub garlic wings at Kosta’s in East Syracuse are great. And Shifty’s has great BBQ wings. We didn’t even bother picking up our phone order and went across the street to Alto Cinco instead. That restaurant was packed — mainly because they have better food and service. Me and my wife will never go back to Go Chix. If you’re in the area, my advice is go across the street to either Alto Cinco or the Beer Belly Deli. They are both wonderful places to eat.

I order from this place about once a week, the food is fantastic, and probably one of the top places for takeout in the city. I always have it delivered, and it’s always fast. I’d recommend this place to anyone… and the portions are huge

I got the Gochix special with the boneless, bone-in and chicken strips combo but I have to say it was $ 25 down the drain. The bone-in wings smelt of fish. Only decent item were the boneless wings but they too come in way behind many other places I’ve tried in Syracuse. For a restaurant that focuses only on one type of food, Gochix really need to up their game, especially if they want to compete with the likes of Wings Over. I hate leaving negative reviews but I hope this will serve as encouragement for the management, because I’m all for supporting local businesses.

Honestly, I haven’t gotten my food yet. I ordered almost an hour and a half ago for delivery… the person who took my order said it would be 30 min. I now can no longer get ahold of the restaurant bc they’re closed although they already charged my card. This is some kind of bullshit. Enough said.

BESTWINGS in the(westcott/east side) area for sure. TOP3BESTWINGSINTHECITY! I just want to start out by saying I ate their wings twice in 1 night, once delivery and the second time was pick up. Delivery Order: The driver was prompt and courteous. We had ordered 2(which include fries & a drink) combo meals, 2 different sauces and the same kind of drink. 1 order had less than a handful of fries and the other order had none at all, wonder what happened there. We called the delivery driver and let him know, and bout 20 mins later brought us an order of large fries, not bad. The wings were very well sauced and seasoned, but the skin had started to get soggy from sitting in the closed container while hot which is clearly not their fault. All in all, 1st impressions was okay. Pick-Up: This was true redemption. I ordered through grubhub about 2 hours after the original order. I walked in the door as my order was being packed up, supreme freshness. I made sure I had everything I was supposed top be given, ketchup, can of soda, blue cheese, napkins, etc. As soon as I got home I dug right in and the 2nd time was WAY better than the 1st. Mind you, I got the same exact order both times. All in all, Syracuse is over saturated with wing options and everyone thinks they know where the good wings are. With that being said, there is no longer a reason for me to order from Wings Over now that my tastebuds have been rescued by Go Chix, just saying.

I tried this with some friends and loved it! We ordered delivery and it arrived almost immediately. The sauces are great and they have plenty to choose from. The delivery man was pleasant and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend it.

Tasty wings, HORRIBLE customer service. I recommend not ordering for delivery. Save yourself some time and order from«Wings Over».

I’ve passed the place many times as it was getting ready to open, as I frequent the establishments on Westcott. I grabbed a menu once and when I was nearby I dropped in. I got 2 lbs of tenders. They are more«restaurant/bar style» chicken tenders than Wings Over, and the tenders are not pre-sauced, however they come with containers of sauce for you to dip them in. A certain amount are free with the order and then extra containers are 50 cents, which isn’t bad because it gives you flexibility in trying many sauces to find out which ones you like the best. Note, all of the sauces except the cajun lemon are wet sauces, cajun lemon is a dry rub. Unlike Wings Over, the Garlic Parmesan is a wet sauce and that(along with the Boom Boom) are my favorites. Honey Mustard, Mango Habanero and Chipotle Ranch were good but nothing special. Their prices also seem to conveniently match Wings Overs’. The service here was really good. The guy shared his expertise of the sauces since it was my first time, and he went out of his way to print stickers and label each of the sauces. The tenders themselves were all right, I see them as more drunk undergrad food(which is good given the area and proximity to bars) I’ll go again and try their bone-in wings some time. They also deliver.

Not bad, not great. There aren’t many wing options in the city so it’s hard to compare to local restaurants. I got a combo for a few friends, ½lb tenders, 10 wings, and boneless wings. The Good: Sauces were all decent, so that is good. The Bad: The fries, however, were soggy and not cooked through. The ½ tenders were about 4oz on my food scale, so half of what they claim. This was the biggest issue, because thats just false advertising. The wings were decent, but aren’t very meaty. The boneless wings fall apart and are oversaturated in sauce. I know they’re new, so hopefully it’s just growing pains of having a new restaurant and working out the kinks.
