Contacted this company after my living room, which measures(9ft x 12ft) got flooded. According to Yvonne, the price would be over $ 900, to do the following: 1) remove padding, 2) remove water from carpet, and 3) leave dryers in place for 3 days in order to dry carpet. When I asked if they would replace the padding, she indicated that I would have to contact a carpet company for that. To say that I was flabbergasted would be an under statement. I told her to confirm that price because 9ft x 12ft is a very small area and I could not believe that was the correct price. We then hung up the phone and about thirty minutes later she called back and stated, «Not only is that the correct price, but I will need a credit card to start the job.» I ended up calling another company, with excellent feedback, that complete the job for a fraction of the price that Yvonne quoted me. These people are nothing but, vultures and hyenas, they lay and wait for a catastrophe to happen and then they pounce on people when they really need help! For this I say, Servpro of Burbank, karma is a bitch!

We recently had a flood in our office, and the building called Serv-pro. They showed up before the Plumber even arrived and within 15 minutes had a team of 6 guys here, all in hazmat gear dealing with the situation. We are in an office buliding, so no windows to open, they had air scrubbing machines, blowers drying the carpets they sucked the water out of. Then they were here helping us move out of our suite for the re-construction. Then they helped us move back in! Amazing job. I could write a book about how great they are.

Let’s face it you don’t ever want to make a call regarding flooring or fire damage to your property it sucks. But knowing your in good hands, helps you rest a little easier. Katie Swaine and her team were extremely reliable and professional. They were genuinely concerned about my home like it was their own, and that speaks volume to me. I’d definitely recommend Katie and her team to my friends and family.

The Slogan of Servpro is: LIKEITNEVERHAPPENED ! My Slogan after their visit: REALLY? Oh do I wish the contractor never called them. They Sucked !(and I am not writing about the humid carpet left in place or card board boxes not even removed from the soaked area.) If only the sucking power was applied to the water damage, all would already been better. Cherry on top of the cake: They also have no consideration for the client and will call a tenant if they can not reach the Landlord for billing question. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID ! In Case of Emergency, Pray for a professional company !!! Call any company but this one Who has heard of flooding damage taken care of with Blowers only to take the humidity off an apartment and leave in place soaking carpets ? it took a pair of phone calls to find out that since there was some panel damages an environmentalist needs to come to test for asbestos, while the mold quietly kreeps in now 36 hours after the damage was done, still no environmentalist, lets blame the insurance company not to answer, the clock tics and the mold has more chance to grow… the test takes 24 hours unless we agree to pay extra. AVOIDATALLCOST !!!

Our home insurance company sent ServePro out after we had a shower leak into the bedroom below it. They came out quickly, were very professional and polite, explained what they would be doing and what to expect as drying out a room takes several steps and several days. The tech told me someone from the office would call to schedule for them to come back after each step and the phone literally rang within 15 min of them leaving the house each and every time. When they did the tile and wall demo they were fast and kept the dust so well contained we barely noticed it. They cleaned up after themselves as they went along and we were shocked at what a great and efficient job they did. We were very concerned about mold as we had a serious issue in a previous home and my husband is very allergic. They assured us that any area that was suspect or wouldn’t dry out properly was removed to prevent any mold growth. Had it not been for the drywall and tile being removed the rest of the room was as clean if not cleaner than when they arrived! We would definitely recommend ServePro for water damage and mitigation.

You never want to be in this situation but if you are — call ServPro Burbank: The hotel phone rings at 1AM and your house sitter is on the phone. Moe(the dog) is OK but there is water flooding the master bathroom down into the kitchen(they plugged the toilet). Unfortunately, this was our second kitchen flood in 1 year — so we knew about ServPro. But this time the insurance company got through to the Burbank franchise came instead of the former branch — maybe they didn’t answer their phone at 1AM. We came back home to a situation under control. They put up plastic sheeting enclosing the affected area, our furniture was moved safely out of the way and multiple fans were drying everything. Two days later, everything was dry. They used more fans than before even though there was less water this time. They also sealed off the area. And unlike our first leak, which lasted the same amount of time(we were out to dinner) no holes had to be cut in the drywall and it was dry in two days. Alex, the service person, was polite and knowledgeable and came out at 2AM to get it started. April in the office is a delight. You may not have a chance to check Unilocal if there is an urgent situation but if you do, not all ServPro franchises are alike. We had great service from the Burbank branch and I would recommend them.

After hours they will charge you $ 250 before doing any work. and they may or may not tell you about it until you show up. After complaining to them via email I had to call 4 days later because there was no response. There work was fine but so are other companies without the attitude.

I had a pipe overflow into my basement, and i called servpro to assess the situation. they came out quickly, and gave the honest assessment that there was no damage and the cleaning job our plumber had done sufficed.
