Very good food. Great service very very friendly. Food came out fast. Went on a Sunday and had 9 people and only had to wait 10 minutes or so and that was mostly due to the size of our party. They had suckers or cookies for a treat on the way out for the kids. Only thing is the prices were slightly higher then other restaurants I have been to but not enough for me not to go back if in the area. Think price difference may be we are from a much larger town with 10 – 12 breakfast places so they need to stay more competitive. Overall I would recommend them if you haven’t tried it.

I came in for breakfast with my dad at 8AM on a Saturday. It was surprisingly empty compared to the other times I’ve been here. The aesthetic of this place is really nice despite the fact that it’s in a strip mall kind of in the middle of nowhere. The décor is very modern, but the acoustics in the dining area aren’t the best. When it gets crowded, the sound travels A LOT and it can get hard to have a conversation. They have a huge and unique variety of omelets and benedicts with fairly reasonable prices for the portions that you get. This time I opted for the waffle benedict with a maple glaze and bacon marmalade. The maple glaze was great but i thought the marmalade was too sweet and a bit overwhelming. The eggs were poached PERFECTLY and the side of hash browns it came with were nice and crispy. I would definitely recommend one of the benedicts, but the menu is big enough that everyone can find a breakfast item to enjoy. The pancakes here are awesome and they have fresh squeezed orange juice as well. Another great thing about this place is the waitstaff. They are all SUPER nice and attentive and our dining experience was definitely one of(if not the best) that I’ve had in DeKalb/Sycamore. Overall, we had a great experience and I will definitely be back! Fair warning to all you other non-morning people out there, when we left at around 9:30, it was starting to get pretty packed. If you don’t like a ton of noise or being around a ton of people, go for an early breakfast!

Both the food and service are fantastic. This is our families first choice when we go out for breakfast or brunch and everyone always leaves happy and full. I am always very pleased!

Great food which comes quickly. The service was friendly and attentive and I would say that extended to the entire staff. A refreshing departure from some places where you are just another table to be waited on. The lighting is kind of nightclubish… Limited and off color… Not warm and inviting like one might envision. This makes the windows a bit glaring if you happen to be seated in that direction. Oh… It could use some acoustic baffling, A bit loud …

Love the menu! It is very unique, but has a lot of traditional options as well. Sometimes I have great service here, sometimes it is iffy. But great food!

Went here because of excellent Unilocal rating. Unfortunately, the food was less than stellar. Bland overall with«creative» combinations such as sweet cabbage and naan bread(pita) bread burgers striking out. Service was very friendly!

Favorite brunch. We drive 75 minutes for it. Well worth it. Great selection of amazing breakfast dishes. Fresh squeezed OJ is awesome.

They have such wonderful food and the inside is very well designed and welcoming. Mimosas and french toast, thier home made jam is delicious! I wish they did private parties :(

In town for a family wedding, and needed for before we could make the drive back to Chicago. This little place is in your average strip mall, but has a really nice vibe to it! Obviously of newer construction, light, open, and all the staff are smiling — what a great way to start the morning! Food is delicious and the presentation was very nice. The over medium eggs were actually over medium! Great tasting coffee and they squeeze their OJ fresh.

Everything was fantastic. The food. The service. The décor. All fantastic. This restaurant gets five stars and it earned each one. The one thing I didn’t like was the little bowls for the syrup had no spout so there is no way to pour syrup without getting it everywhere. Easily fixed with a a minor change to the serving dishes.

Had a great experience this morning at Eggsclusive! Wonderful staff, wish I had our servers name, great food and exceptional presentation! It was very busy and the staff pulled it off with ease! Thanks! Meg

The food is pretty good here, but I really hate the acoustics. When busy it’s difficult to carry on a conversation. For that reason we don’t come here too often. Maybe twice a year.

Typically, the food is really good. We’ve had the occasional off day with seemingly random issues(I.e. ordered 2 steaks the same way, one was great the other was awful). My issue here is the portion sizes are WAY to big. We don’t go unless we can agree on something to share because it ends up being a waste to bring half the meal home(not big leftover fans). Even the big boys agree it’s too much. The fresh OJ is a big plus. Oh, the green eggs and ham kids meal is super cute :)

In the words of Fat Boy Slim, «I’ve got to praise you like I should.» That would be you Eggsclusive. Who would have thought that such an elegant, hipster, foodie destination would have neighbors named Little Caesars and Chick’N Shack? But Eggsclusive does. I ordered the 5 egg Asparagus omelette with Gruyère cheese and a hollandaise sauce. Oh. My. Yes, and yes. There was ample asparagus bits in there and the amount of hollandaise sauce they used was PERFECT I had some sauce in every bite. I opted for pancakes with my dish and I’m glad I did. They dust powdered sugar on top and you’ll find their logo on your pancake(nice touch.) I ordered the orange juice and if your like me sometimes you just opt for water because it doesn’t cost you anything, GETTHE JUiCE!!! You want it, trust me. They use a Zumm machine so it is fresh squeezed. Our food came out lightning fast even though the place was packed and hoppin’. And two of the owners greeted us during our food rendezvous and asked how everything was. Very decent! I will definitely make this a go to place.

Love this place. Great atmosphere, very polite servers, and amazing food. If you do not eat a lot at a time, i would recommend splitting a dish depending on what you order.(Omelettes, skillets) We had lots of leftovers. Prices are on the higher end, but fair and worth it. Their orange juice is excellent, but is pretty spendy. Can’t wait to go back!

I have eaten here in the past and enjoyed it very much. The food and atmosphere are both extraordinary. Unfortunately, myself, as well as another family member, got mild food poisoning after eating a meal here over the weekend. The food itself tasted great, but the kitchen staff should try as much as possible to ensure that the food they are preparing, as well as the environment it is being prepared in, is sanitary or safe to consume.

Awesome food, portions were pretty large. One of the only places around with great wraps. Cool atmosphere which my girlfriend and I enjoyed! Will definitely be going back there again!

I heard many good things about this place before I finally visited last fall, so expectations were high, and they definitely did not disappoint. My only selfish complaint is that they’re out of the way from the NIU campus so it’s hard to get over there during a narrow window of time, or I’d probably be there all the time! The menu is fantastic, so many interesting and inventive choices. The service is attentive and professional. The portions are generous. The food is tasty and well-seasoned. So far my favorite has been an omelet that had chicken sausage and spinach in it, but I’m also a big fan of their skillets. I tried someone’s banana bread french toast one time and it was fantastic as well. The prices probably are a little higher than an average breakfast place, but I find it hard to complain for the quality of the food.

Best cinnamon french toast with their own cinnamon butter. melts in your mouth. service is quick due to the iPod touches replacing the pen paper method. Everything tastes fresh and nothing tastes like it’s in pan grease. Absolutely love this place and the staff!

Eggsclusive café certainly lived up to their Unilocal hype. The food was delicious, the service was good even though they were packed, but holy crap it’s loud in there! I love going out for breakfast. We end up checking out some new restaurants for breakfast in the burbs fairly often. This may have been the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time. I had the fig, bacon, and havarti omelette. Not only was it amazing but it’s given me some serious recipe inspiration(fig & prosciutto risotto anyone? Sorry, back to EC…). I had the EC potatoes instead of hashbrowns which were essentially small square french fries, and that’s a good thing. They didn’t seem to be seasoned at all which is nice, just a perfectly cooked potato. The service was really good, our waitress was very attentive even though she was very busy. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars? It was so loud I could barely hear the server. She was literally losing her voice. It’s possible she was out late screaming at a rock concert the night before, but I honestly believe she lost her voice trying to scream over the loud music and people trying to talk over the loud music(it’s a vicious cycle). I’m kinda bummed EC is all the way out in Sycamore. I’d like to try more of their dishes and I’d love to have some coffee with rumchata in it… but not when I’m driving around suburbia.
