I went to the cheesecake factory in Allentown. What a difference from the Pocono one! Great cheesecake with a crust! Enough said.

I read good and bad reviews about the Pocono Cheesecake Factory, my husband and I went out of our way to check it out as my husband is very very picky about cheesecake, the result: they passed with flying colors. The texture was excellent and the flavor as well, even with no crust(no crust is in the gourmet class). Very smooth and not too sweet. Their carrot cake was very nice, had homemade charm and was very substantial. The price was as expected for the very high quality. Would definitely go again. Kudos

I went here originally because I had guests from NYC staying with us who raved about the place so I decided to purchase a cheesecake to go with dinner. The cheesecake was $ 44 which was my first flinch but I went ahead and bought it for my guests. It was just an average cheesecake nothing special just way way way overpriced. My guests seem to like it and I gave them the rest of the cake to take home. The next time they showed up I got a $ 13.99 cheesecake from our local Weiss store and they couldn’t tell the difference. They actually thought we went to the Pocono Cheese factory again. To be perfectly honest the Cheesecake at the Pocono Cheesecake Factory was a bit creamier but not so much better than the $ 13.99 cheesecake. I am not going to pay $ 44 for a cheesecake again.

Horrible only experience. I ordered chocolate covered cheesecake filled strawberries for my wife. Pre ordred and paid for them in advance to pick up weekend of Valentines day. Went to pick them up on Valentines day and they said they had sold them and have no more and did not realize I had paid for full. Even if I did not pay for them in full you would take an order from someone else and if they didn’t pay for them in full not follow through for him to pick up? The guy was nice and admitted they messed up but I will still never go back because I was left without this present on Valentines Day. They did give me my 9 dollars back but scrambling for something else… Very unprofessional!

workers are friendly and the cheesecake is very good. you can buy anything from slices to a whole cheesecake. if you get 1 slice, yes… it’s more per slice than if you buy a whole one. that seems to surprise some people. plenty of flavors to pick from, or if you can’t make up you mind, the have a sampler of the whole assortment.

My husband and myself were on vaca in the pocanos and came here for some cheesecake since I love it so much, and I must say this is the best cheesecake I’ve ever had so creamy and moist it was awesome. I even put it on Facebook and my family kept commenting they wanted one so we went back and got a half sampler to bring home to Ma !! I definitely recommend this place! Staff was very friendly as well!

My wife and I were recently in the Poconos to visit Bushkill Falls. We decided to head over to Pocono Cheesecake Factory afterward and we were NOT disappointed. This place is superb, and the guy who helped us out(Jeremy) was extremely helpful and patient as we picked out some cheesecake slices and a few other things. Do NOT listen to the negative reviews below — this place is great. The cheesecake is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable — and there’s a large selection, too. Go to any diner or restaurant and see what you’ll pay for a piece of cheesecake — it’ll be way more than what you’ll pay here — and it probably won’t be as good as the cheesecake here. And anyway, c’mon now, it’s CHEESECAKE! You can’t put a price on good cheesecake! We are very picky when it comes to desserts and especially cheesecake. My wife is a trained chef so she knows good dessert. I know it too. We’ve had the good, the bad and the ugly. This place is good — VERY good. It’s about 10 minutes north of I-80 off Rt 611. TOTALLY worth the trip. Now go get your cheesecake and tell Jeremy that Kevin and Carrie sent you!

We were out at the casino and figured we’d celebrate our winnings with some cheesecake! Let’s start with the positives: Workers were very pleasant. Cute store with various bakery options. Strawberry cheesecake was ok. Here’s the cons: Pricey for a VERY small piece of cheesecake. I’m used to NYC prices and this is high in comparison. Strawberry cheesecake is nothing more than ok. It’s not the authentic NY style cheesecake that I prefer. The peanut butter swirl cheesecake is the plan cheesecake with the top layer only being a peanut butter swirl. The PB flavoring is very weak. If you love peanut butter, this will disappoint. I ordered one frosted sugar cookie. It was cutely decorated so I was pretty excited to enjoy! It was a let down. It was hard and crunchy. I do not recommend. Overall this isn’t a place I will be trying again.

Delicious and friendly! It is a bit pricy for cheesecake but everything else is very reasonable priced, cupcakes, cannolis and other sweet treats. My husband and I have been shopping here repeatedly throughout our stay in the mountains.

I don’t know how they screw up chocolate, but they manage it. Their cheesecake isn’t too spectacular either. They make a good ice cream sandwich

.While on a trip to the Pocones I decided to stop here since I had a feeling I would be craving something sweet later:) So, this is a pretty small bakery but with a great amount of selection. The first thing I noticed was how pretty the cheesecakes looked. Second thing was the prices… So, this place is a bit high for the cheesecakes and I noticed the packaged cookies were a bit high. And I’m used to NY prices! That being said, the cheesecake was pretty yummy. Yes, a little different without crust but yummy. I had the Oreo cheesecake. Strange, but you couldn’t taste the Oreo at all. Maybe because it’s just sprinkled on top. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money, they had these cheesecake brownies on special for $ 1.60. Normally, they are $ 2.00. I actually enjoyed the brownie more then the cheesecake. Trust me when I say the brownies are not overly sweet and so moist and delicious. They also had 2 cookies on special for 1.35… The cookies were so chewy and delicious I regretted not getting more to take home. so I suppose the cookies are kind of worth the high price:) The people working at the bakery were pretty formal and polite. will probably be a repeat despite my whining about the prices:)

wish the cheesecake had some crust as id def. spend money for a slice. it is fairly expensive. have tried cream puff and éclair… both good on the heavy side. not a fan of just cheesecake with no bottom BUT the carrot cake on the other hand… amazing!isnt overpowering sweet that is why the frosting gives it a good kick.

Stopped here on a whim while traveling in the area. Sorry to pull the ‘New Yorker’ card here… but being an italian New Yorker I have had some serious cheesecake in my young years. This was a cute little bakeshop. Nothing fancy at all, and not a ton of selection. Just a case of cookies, some random desserts, and about 10 different cheesecakes to purchase. You can buy the whole pie, by the slice, etc. I bought a slice of raspberry cheesecake for $ 4 and change… That is even more expensive then most NY prices! At least at juniors you get a huge piece. This was a TINY piece of cheesecake. I felt ripped off. I figured, well as long as it is good right? First of all… I have never had cheesecake without a crust, or pie bottom. This has nothing. Just cheesecake. I was skeptical as soon as I saw that. You really need a tasty, buttery crust to work with the cheesecake. Bottom line… it was an incredibly bland, boring, and tasteless cheesecake. There was nothing creamy or special about it. And I could barely taste the raspberry. I was dissapointed.

I really like this small, family owned bakery. I’ve tried most cheesecake flavors, plus had a special request order put in for a unique/seasonal flavor and that was great, too! I’ve tried some of the other items like rugalah, the cookies, rum cake, the tri-colors, and canolis. Oh, I’ve had a stuffed strawberries, too. All were good. I don’t know about all the other reviews, but I PREFER my cheesecake withOUT crust. I WANT the dairy part! I would disregard negative reviews about this place. Their items are fresh(or frozen) & I’ve always been pleased here.

We got here right when the bakery opened and got a quarter strawberry cheesecake, gingerbread man, tiramisu cake, eclairs and red velvet cupcake. Everything was soo good and fresh. I am not a fan of red velvet cake but loved this one it was soft and not coarse like the previous ones I have eaten. Great place

The cheese cakes r heavy just the way I like them I tried a piece dipped I. Chocolate and frozen on a stick, very good. Then we tried chocolate covered strawberries filled with cheese cake, amazing Samantha loved her red velvet cupcake liv loved her strawberry cheese cake and Stacy liked her turtle cheese cake over all worth a stop. The only thing we would of liked more would if they would of done a tour to show how they make them, the girls were really hoping for that

While the chocolate chip cookies were delicious, I was a bit bummed with the cheesecake. I like a thick crust and there was none, so there’s that. We bought a quarter of the éclair cheesecake and while it was good, it definitely needed the chocolate ganache to cover the entire top, not just a small circle in the middle. Also it was thicker than other cheesecakes I’ve had and, although I liked the flavor, there are other cheesecakes elsewhere I’d prefer. Overall though I was satisfied and the employees were very nice.

Went to mount airy casino and camelback and figure to give this place a try my fiancé loves cheesecake. All we can say it’s alright in my opinion there is better. We tried the cheesecake with blueberry topping and the almond amaretto. The almond one could def use more almond flavor and the blueberry topping not crazy about it. :/

I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY. My last apt in Bk was across the street from Juniors. Lets just say… I’m spoiled when it comes to cheesecake. My measuring stick is dumb crazy long. I suggest anyone that wants to write a review about cheesecake? Gotta hit juniors first… then go to other places. because I really wanted to like this place, but it does not meet my standards. I was up chillin with my fam in the poconos. I was driving my mom around when we saw a sign for this place. We said why not? We stopped in and took a look. The owners were extremely nice people, so we bought a whole pie(when I saw that it didn’t have any crust, I told my mom lets get just a half, but mothers never listen). She figured since it was 7 of us, we need more. Wish I would have bought the half. Their prices are a tad bit on the high side. The cake NEEDS some type of crust, since the soft consistency plays on your mind n palette. The cake was infused with amaretto, but I didn’t taste it at all. We also bought a half of chocolate cheesecake. I disliked the amaretto so much that I didn’t even bother trying the other one. Will not return.
