Very underwhelming. We picked Outback for my birthday. It was not busy, but everything took forever to come out. Out blooming onion was mostly onion with a lot of batter on the bottom half. Our salad and soups took way too long to come out(over 20 minutes after the order was taken) and our soups came out cold, salads we wrong. My sister had the worn entrée, the prime rib was super fatty, and the all the food tasted like it had been sitting for a while and was microwaved to try to make it warm again. There was hair in my son’s Macaroni. The only hot food that hit our table was the recook of my sister’s wrong entrée that was brought out by the manager. The manager took the price of my sister’s entrée off the ticket, but there was so much just wrong with the dinner.

Poor food quality. Tried the angus burger for lunch today and it was delivered dry and charred. Waitstaff seemed rushed and overwhelmed, overall poor experience at this location today.

We stopped in last night for our 31st anniversary dinner. This place has certainly went downhill over the past several years. The blooming onion was terrible and steaks were worse. The dipping sauce was way too salty. The steaks were very tough and way over cooked. My wife’s chopped steak, ordered medium, was neat charcoal. Mine was burnt black on the outside and cold on the inside. I have had great food at this location many times, but last night was my last visit. There are better steakhouses in the area. I’ll be checking them out from here on out.

The service was great. No rude people around. The music is a little loud. The bathrooms were on the clean side. We went around 3:30 for a table of two. Sat right down. We got the four course meal. The soup and salad comes together. The salad lettuce was gross and tasted dirty. They put the dressing on the salad for you. I hate that. They do the same thing for your straws. That seems unclean to me. The French onion soup was gross as well as the potato soup. He got bacon bourbon steak(medium well) and it was way to red for him. I got the garlic sirloin which had way to much garlic but it was okay in being well done. The baked potato was probably the best baked potato I’ve ever had in my life! He had the grilled asparagus and they were plain. The bread they give you is okay. To end our meal we had the raspberry cheesecake. I’ve never had a cheesecake that didn’t have a crust but okay. It was the best thing I had there. I probably won’t ever go back. It was my first time here and I would rather have Texas Roadhouse or a steak from Applebee’s.

Ok food but the wait staff seemed uninterested. The bartender was new which didn’t help. The menu has been re– done once again — not a problem, the Victoria’s are still there. I always tip 20 percent regardless but it’s becoming harder to justify. I told the wife, «no more gift cards for here — given as gifts or purchased for ourselves when there is a deal».

On Aug 6 we had dinner at Swansea Outback. This was a Thursday and they were not very busy. We had many problems. Two of the steaks were rare when we had ordered medium. Sent steaks back. Sirloin came back medium – okay. Fillet was replaced with a new steak that came back very rare(purple center). Service was very slow and sloppy. Waited about 20 minutes for waiter to take order. When entrées came, server didn’t remove salad, soup, and appetizer plates even though we told her we were finished. Ordered dessert. Waiter didn’t clear dishes even though he had an empty trey in his hand. Stacked dishes on table so we had room for desert items. Complained to manager. She apologized and compted 50% of bill, but didn’t clear dishes.

I wrote a very long review but Unilocal wigged out on me so I’ll make it short this time. This Outback Steakhouse is absolutely awful. The last 2 times we have been we’ve had terrible service and terrible food. Tonight it took 2 hours from the time we were sat in a mostly empty restaurant to finish eating and get our check. It was over an hour from the time we ordered before we saw our food. The lettuce in our salads was brown. They were out of french onion soup and prime rib at 7 pm on a Sunday. They forgot part of our order. Mashed potatoes were cold. Steak was tough and overcooked. When we asked the manager if things were so slow to arrive because of a problem in the kitchen, she said that it was because they were busy(again, the restaurant was mostly empty). We won’t be back to Outback Steakhouse again. If you really love a blooming onion, do yourself a favor and drive to another location. This one is poorly managed and simply awful.

I don’t know if the chef was just having an off night or what, but they just could not get the steak temperatures right. I asked for my steak to be medium well and my guest asked for medium. When the steaks came out, my guest’s steak was well done and my steak was medium rare. We told our server and she apologized and took the steaks back to the kitchen to be fixed. When they came out the second time, my guest finally got their medium steak but my steak was very well done(it was actually a little burnt on the bottom). The server apologized again and took it back. Third time was the charm and they finally got my steak right.

I went with my family last week, to celebrate my birthday, my sons birthday(same day!) and he was also only a couple days from leaving for Marine boot camp in San Diego. I was really looking forward to my favorite; the lamb chops, unfortunately they were overcooked :/I waited and waited to flag down our waiter to get them cooked correctly, to no avail, after about 10 mins(which honestly seemed longer as the rest of the family had nearly finished eating and we had movie tickets.) I went to the restroom, and on my way back flagged someone, to see the manager. Needless to say since we had to go, so she sent me with an entrée to go, comp’d our entire meal!!! Things will go wrong, I know this, it was just a special day and I was more discouraged than usual for my meal, but in the end it turned out to be a GREAT experienced thanks to the manager.

Well, if you’re up for bad service, tough steaks, management that doesn’t care, etc. this is the location for you!!! Something has happened to this Outback. It has gone sorely downhill. Go to Texas Roadhouse, or McDonalds for that matter.

i had a terrible experience at this location. i got on the wait list because i knew it would be busy for mother’s day. it still took an hr to get seated. our waitress never introduced herself. she brought out bread with one knife(there were 6 of us), with no napkins or silverware. we ordered a bloomin onion, again she still never brought us silverware or napkins until i asked. she brought refills for everyone except one person and said she’d bring it back, she never did again until i asked. she kept saying our food was coming and after being at outback 2 hrs we still had no food, the manager came out to talk to us(he never introduced himself or had a nametag on). He never once apologized to us he just said can you wait 5 more minutes for your food, is that ok? i was like well we’ve already been here 2 hrs so yes. he said he would bring our food out to us. I asked if we could get a discount for waiting so long and he said he would take care of us. That turned into another 20 minutes and he had someone else bring us our food. I wasn’t even that mad at this point until i started eating my food and it was room temperature. The waitress asked how it was and i told her the food was luke warm, she brought the manager back and i told him its not hot its just warm, he said oh… well we will take care of you. Again he never offered a free meal or anything just that he would take care of us. The sandwich i ordered tasted awful, and all of the food was served like the cooks didnt even care. After being there 3 hours they still tried to charge us $ 30 for a subpar meal. The only employee who acted like they cared in the entire building was the store manager. She gave us the meal for free with no issues. I wish i knew the names of our server and the original manager helping us but no one bothered to give us their names. i have only ever had good experiences with outback so i was appalled when i got this quality of food and service.

Oh we so hoped to be able to give them 5 stars, but today’s experience proves that you may hope for one thing and get get the exact opposite. Our experience started out fine, we were greeted and seated promptly, our server was pleasant and kind. We placed our orders and we received our drinks. We waited a while for our blooming onion and were told that the first one they made had burnt and they made us a new one. I was fine with that, they had a problem and they fixed it. What we weren’t prepared for, is it seems like our food was left under a heat lamp while they made a new a blooming onion. Almost every part of all our meals were bad. My Aussie tacos were cold, my daughter’s steak was cold, and her coconut shrimp were burnt. My father in-law’s bun was rock hard and my son’s fries were the only thing freash that was freah and they came out 5 minutes after his meal. I talked with the manager and they made corrections on our bill, we had to have them correct it again after looking at it. I got another plate of Aussie tacos that were great, and the brought out another plate of coconut shrip for my daughter but they still looked dark to me. I tried one and it tasted burnt but the shrimp was big and I left that one alone. I figured we had complained enough. Every other time we have gone here to eat it has been wonderful, I wish I knew what happened today. Our server was accommodating and the manager too. That’s why they got 3 stars instead of less, we will give them another shot but the manager will be fully aware of this past experience in the hopes we get better quality food. I’d love to give give these guys more stars but I feel they need to earn it.

The only good thing about this restaurant were the servers. The poor things were completely overworked — they had two waitresses running the entire restaurant on a very busy Sunday afternoon. Which of course meant service was slow and they had to constantly be telling people excuses. Which is a failure on the part of the manager — who seems to have no clue what sort of business he is running. The food was horrific. I will not be returning to this resturant — and normally I love outback — it is the place I and my husband have gone for years — but we recently moved here and this particular member of the chain shouldn’t be allowed to use the name. It isn’t too much to ask for a place that specializes in steak to be able to make a steak medium-rare. I didn’t have a problem with this with any other outback I’ve ever visited other than this one. However, this is our SECOND trip to this place where the exact same thing has occurred. I order medium rare: I get raw. The steak was purple, not red, the fat was not rendered at all. I was clearly not even to the point of rare. So, they take it back to put it on the grill longer. However, me asking for medium rare instead of rare apparently meant I wanted jerky for I got it back well done. So of course when the manager asked about it I pointed it out and he says: ‘so a little overdone’. Very overdone, not ‘a little’…don’t you manage a steak restaurant — how could you not tell that ZERO pink in the middle was NOT medium rare? Isn’t this your freaking livelihood here? Maybe you should google what different cooks of steaks are given you manage the place? So he says he’ll get me a new steak and I am fine with it, I don’t yell or complain, I even just nodded my head to the ‘little overdone’ absurd understatement cause I know they are busy and don’t wanna cause a scene. I try to give people leeway but this is the SECOND time they’ve done this. I only came back this time cause I had a gift card from a birthday — to make note. Then, I get a steak that’s ½ inch thick — as opposed to my previous sirloin that was a good inch and a half thick… and it looks almost as purple but red enough to convincingly be ‘rare’. No where near med-rare. But I figure, screw it, cause clearly they don’t have a option between: mooing and charcoal. But this steak when I actually take a bite has been deliberately DOUSED in salt. I don’t mean a little seasoning — there was salt added after the steak was cooked — and beneath the mountain of it the meat still tasted like there was something seriously wrong with it — as if it were very very old. It left a nasty taste in my mouth that I didn’t get rid of until much later in the day. I had to spit it out — and I’ve never spit out food in a place before. I am fairly sure the cook did it on purpose — cause there is NO chance there would be that much salt on something on accident. I could spill a bucket of salt on a steak — pull it out — and it wouldn’t have as much seasoning rubbed in as the steak they gave me. It was horrific… I asked the manager to eat it and he wouldn’t…so I’m fairly sure he knew what he was doing. They didn’t charge us, I can only presume so if I got food poisoning there was no paper trail leading back to their seriously poorly staffed kitchen. Will not return to this outback, wish we had a different staff since normally they have such good food. Real pity no one can be bothered to know how to do their job but the poor overworked servers. Still gave the poor server a good tip, she was running her legs off trying to help half the restaurant and explain the lack of a chef — I think a monkey could be trained to do a better job personally. The manager hid in the back most of the time other than to run by super fast to say we wouldn’t be charged and run away before anything else could be said to him. Pathetic, certainly wouldn’t want to see anyone else waste their money on this horrible example of what they claim is ‘food service’. Ick, and double ick, I can still taste the salt.

Usually go here for my birthday, but after today will probably rethink my choice. We got seated immediately and waitress came within minutes to take a drink order. Came back about two minutes later to take our order, then proceeded to take two more tables orders before ever heading back to the kitchen. One of the tables must’ve been old friends, because she talked for an easy 10 minutes before ever getting around to an order. On a good note, her friends are doing well and are enjoying the cooler weather. Food arrived in the usual time frame. Nothing special about any of it. Was going to ask about the birthday dessert special but didn’t want to stay another hour while she was figured out what to do. When bill time came, 15 minutes elapsed from asking for it to getting it. 18 minutes and three more tables later before she returned, only to discover a mistake was on the bill and needed a manager to approve. 15 minutes later, the rest of my party had left and I went to the front to explain the problem and was told a manager would be right over. 8 minutes later, the MIA waitress brought my bill, wedged in between the next table’s plates, and left it on the table. No manager ever showed or stopped by to inquire about the meal or service. A generous 10% tip later and I was out the door. Will probably not return to this location ever again. Outback? More like Inback, as in back of everyone else as far as service goes. Swansea location just sang their swan song as far as I’m concerned.

As usual great food and great first class service. My meal today was the 12oz prime rib, seasoned rice, and chicken tortilla soup. Everything was cooked to perfection. I probably should have ordered an 8oz instead of the 12oz. The rice, soup, and bread was tasty. Then to top it off, I had the cheesecake with chocolate sauce. Mmmm, mmmm, good!!!

We recently went to outback for my nieces graduation party and had a great experience. I can’t remember the servers name but he took care of us the entire time. I wasn’t expecting a good cut of meat but I got it. I ordered the porterhouse and it was cooked exactly like I wanted. The cut was good and tender. Great experience!

Okay, so I’m a pretty hardcore vegetarian. When my husband told me we were coming here for his mom’s birthday, I wasn’t exactly thrilled but put my big girl pants on and got over it. While waiting for them to show up, I ordered a peach mojito and(I swear I’m not exaggerating) could NOT stop drinking it. It has to be one of the best mixed drinks I’ve ever had… which might mean nothing because I really only drink wine and beer. I ordered asparagus and their sweet potato as my entrée and nibbled on their delicious bread while I waited. I’m not a huge butter person… but oh sweet jebus do they prepare one hell of a sweet potato. It was super buttery and covered in brown sugar. You don’t even need a dessert after one of these. The asparagus was yummy as well. Instead of steaming it, they threw it on the grill and it added tons of flavor. Generally, after my entrée I call it a night and skip dessert, but this was a birthday celebration… Matthew’s mom ordered some strawberry shortcake waffle concoction that was absolute heaven. I’m not saying I’m officially an Outback regular, but they can whip up some tasty stuff for us veggie lovers.

Great food great service one of the best Outbacks we have visited . We wanted a table and had to wait for one for about 45 min, this was the only downside to our visit. We had toddlers with us, and booths are not good with children. You need a high chair and room! Travis was our server… He gave us great service!

We usually eat here about once a week. Food is good. I think their filet is one of the best and its half the price of other places. I also am a huge fan of the Caeser Salad… not sure why, its nothing fancy, but I use it to measure other places caeser and a down under rita… woo hoo. My only negative is I am in this place about once a week and no one has ever been like«hey weren’t you here last week» Oh well!
